Prologue
Hey guys! Just so you know, the Wattpad version of this has reviews posted on this, but I decided not to put them on here because this isn't Wattpad and I figured it didn't matter.
But if you wanna get a glimpse of what people said, the readers thought it was scary.
Personally, I don't think it's that scary, but I'll let you be the judge of that.
I'd also like to add that no Vocaloid characters appear in this. I didn't know if the characters in the song were Vocaloids or just random kids (but yes, I know who sang the song), so I gave them names in this book.
Oh, and when I wrote this, I didn't know that the two characters (excluding the demon/ghost) were brother and sister, so I made them friends in this because I didn't know.
I think I found out a year later or something.
With that said, enjoy the prologue!
Hide and seek...a seemingly ordinary game for family and friends, right? No harm done to anyone?
Wrong.
What if this game became something more? Maybe something even complicated?
In a certain neighborhood, people loved playing hide and seek. But this loved game went too far one night. And too scary. Will someone stop it...or will this 'game', which has now become more of a survival game, be endless?
They say there used to be this girl who loved hide and seek. She used to play it so much with her friends.
She almost always won. Some even called her the Hide and Seek champion.
One day, this girl was wronged. While playing a game of hide and seek with her friends one day, a teacher caught the students playing their game and they had to go home.
And they didn't tell the girl.
The girl was hiding in a good spot. After an hour, she came out of her hiding spot. She was hungry.
She wondered where everyone else was.
She looked around the woods for her friends. The poor girl still thought they were playing with her.
She wandered around the woods for two days. She began to hate her friends once she realized they abandoned her.
She wondered why they didn't tell her. She tried thinking of logical reasons.
She began to walk home, hungry and cold, her stomach noises getting louder.
She was so hungry, but so weak. The poor girl starved to death before she could get home.
But she wasn't able to rest.
She now haunts this world as a ghost. Hide and seek is still her favorite game.
She's always the seeker.
She finds two people who did something bad in their life and punishes them in her own way.
But then again, doing something bad in our life is pretty much inevitable, isn't it?
It doesn't matter for her.
This story will share the story of a good girl and a good boy who did something "wrong" in their pasts.
Stay safe when playing hide and seek.
Or else, she might find you.
And when she does, she'll be merciless.
