A/N: More Thorki fluffiness for you all. Again, I wrote this (and most of the other oneshots I post) on NaNoWriMo - great website, by the way - and just copied it in. Hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: Not mine, but if it was...*evil grin* If Marvel gave me ownership, Thorki and Stony would totally be canon, Loki would *not* have died in Infinity War and instead become an Avenger, Thanos would be dead and Tony wouldn't...you know what, I'ma stop ranting now and let you read the fanfic :D. Also, song lyrics at the beginning belong to Dead By April, not me.
"There's nothing here in the world
That can replace you...
There's nothing here in the world
I can face without you...
There is nothing
There is nothing
There is nothing...
There's nothing here in the world
That can replace you..."
Loki was dating someone. Thor knew this. And he was extremely jealous. Loki was supposed to be his!
Wait, when had he started thinking like that? Loki wasn't his any more than he was his current boyfriend's. But that didn't stop Thor from feeling what he did.
Thor couldn't stand knowing that Loki was dating someone else when Thor was right there, his heart seemingly out on display. Thor knew Loki knew how he felt, he just wasn't sure if Loki shared his feelings and the dating was just to tease him.
If it was, it was working.
Thor walked in on the two of them - the offender was one of the Einherjar soldiers, someone Thor didn't know personally - kissing, though it looked somewhat halfhearted on Loki's part.
Loki noticed him first, half-shoving the Einherjar off of him.
"Get off!" Loki insisted. The soldier looked hurt.
"What did I do?" the Einherjar asked, the hurt plain in his voice.
"You kissed me," Loki scoffed. "I wasn't serious about this. Did you think I was?"
"I hoped."
"Get out," Loki snarled. The startled and hurt Einherjar scrambled to leave the room, not even noticing Thor, which was probably for the better.
"Hello, Thor," Loki said, twisting in his seat on the couch in the library to look at him with those beautiful green eyes of his.
"Why," Thor growled, "were you with him?"
"He was a distraction," Loki replied. "Come here."
Thor obeyed. "If he tries that again, I'll kill him," Thor growled.
Loki laughed. "Thor," he chuckled.
"He knows you're mine, right?" Thor ranted, then stopped short, blushing hard as he realized what he'd just said.
"Thor," Loki said, "you know you're the only one for me, right?"
Thor brightened. "You...you really mean that?"
"Yes," Loki replied. "Thor, I love you. I love you more than anything else. That Einherjar was just a distraction while I waited for you to finally realize how you feel about me."
"I think I know," Thor murmured. "I love you too, Loki, and I have for a long time."
Loki smiled. "It just took me being with some other guy for you to realize that?"
"Yeah," Thor admitted. "I was jealous."
"Thor?"
"Yeah?"
"Shut up and kiss me."
Thor smiled. "I thought you'd never ask."
The kiss was sweet until Loki moaned into it, startling Thor. He smiled against Loki's lips and took the kiss deeper, harder, faster, more passionately. Both gods were enjoying it probably more than they should, but neither cared.
Thor only drew back when the lack of air made that absolutely necessary. Loki pulled him down onto the couch beside him, and the thunder god went without resistance. Anything to be by Loki's side.
Speaking of, the Trickster immediately curled up on the couch beside Thor, catlike. Thor drew him closer, and Loki only snuggled deeper into the warm, familiar, comforting embrace.
"I love you, Loki," Thor murmured, pressing a soft kiss to the mischief god's raven hair.
Loki smiled. "I love you, too."
FIN.
