Time for another NicoMaki oneshot, this is my OTP of the Love Live series. I hope you guys will enjoy it, and if you did then leave a nice review and a favorite. The first date
It was a bright sunny day in the heart of Tokyo, Japan. Today was a Saturday so there was no school, and today was a very nerve wrecking day for a certain red headed idol. Maki Nishikino, 1st year student, idol and...the girlfriend to Nico Yazawa. Nico and Maki recently got into a relationship shortly after the Muse trip up the mountains, to get some ideas for their next show for the Love Live! competition. Of course, Maki nor Nico have been in a relationship before and this was so new to them. All of the members got to perform at the UTX High School on the roof top, while performing Yume no Tobira. Maki sighed, as she got out of her bed and to get ready. Nico was coming to her home in about an hour, so she needed to hurry.
The red head walked over to her closest and became to look for something to wear. Her amethyst eyes flickered through her outfits and she found the perfect one, she smiled as she pulled it out. It was beautiful cream dress with little pink flowers, she also pulled out a pink jacket to cover her arms up with, a brown belt and brown shoulder bag. Maki grabbed her outfit and placed it neatly on her bed, and quickly took a shower to freshen up. After her shower, she started to put the outfit on and to brush her hair. Heck, she even put on some gold bangles and a flower necklace, that her parents gave her for her birthday last year.
Maki looked over at her clock and saw it was 12:40pm. She really started to panic as Nico will be here at 1pm. She went over to her drawers and pulled out some cute white frilly socks to put on, grabbing her bag before putting her phone and money into it and made her way downstairs. She walked into the living room and saw her mother, reading a book while drinking some tea. Maki slowly sat in the chair opposite her and poured herself a cup. Maki's mother looked up and smiled at her daughter. "Now, you look beautiful, my dear Maki"
Maki blushed at her mother's words and she slowly sipped her tea, while shaking. "T-Thanks mama, I'm t-trying to not to make too much of an effort"
"Nonsense!" Her mother said, smiling while putting her book down. "Yazawa-san will love the outfit, she loves you for a reason"
Maki remembers when she brought over Nico to meet her parents, when Maki told them that she was dating a girl and it had brought mixed reactions. Of course, her mother was happy about her only daughter dating someone but her father was a bit judgemental about his daughter's sexuality, but that changed when Nico came over. Nico was very polite during dinner, brought gifts over for them. Flowers and chocolate for Maki's mother and a bottle of whiskey (that she took from her mother's kitchen) for Maki's father. It was a very fun evening and Nico seemed to fit in really well. When Nico left, Maki's father looked at his daughter with a chuckle "She will make a perfect waifu for you"
Soon, her thoughts were shaken off as she heard the door bell go. Nico was here! She placed down her empty cup and kissed her mother on the cheek, she quickly ran to the front door and put on her brown heeled sandals, she opened the door and left the house. She took a deep breath and made her way to the gates and opened them, only to be hugged tightly by Nico Yazawa. "Maki-chan! You are looking sooooo kawaii!" She says, happily. And this made Maki blush brightly, even more when Nico planted a kiss on Maki's cheek.
"E-Eh!" Maki stutters slightly, as she tries to get Nico off of her. "Nico-chan, could you please let me go?"
Nico giggled as she let go of her girlfriend, and she done a cute little twirl before doing her Nico-Nii chant. "Nico-Nico-Nii~ How does Nico look Maki-chan?"
Maki took a good look at Nico's outfit and she had to admit, she looked so darn cute!. Nico was wearing a frilly white blouse with a magenta overcoat, a light brown button skirt with a brown belt, grey knee high socks with dark brown knee high boots, a braclet on each arm, a necklace and a dark red bag. Maki noticed that Nico traded her red ribbons for greyish blue ones for her pigtails. Maki played with her hair after she placed a quick kiss on Nico's nose. "Nico-chan looks adorable"
Nico grinned as she saw that Maki turned away from her, after kissing her nose. She then, slowly grabbed Maki's hand and gave it a gently squeeze. "Let's go"
Maki just nodded as she let Nico hold her hand for the whole date. They had difficulty on to where they should go and so they decided on Harajuku. Both idols took a silent walk to the train station as it was a 20min travel from this part of Tokyo. They had their train passes beeped onto the machine and made their way to the platform to wait for the train. Maki went over to the vendor and got Nico and herself a bottle of water. "You better not have told everyone else, Nico-chan"
"Told them what?" Nico said, having a sip of her water.
"You know what!" Maki scowled, narrowing her eyes at the midget. "About our date!"
Nico blinked and smirked over at her tomato lover, while playing with a strand of her red hair. "Awwwww doesn't Maki-Maki-Maa like to share Nico-Nii?~"
"Baka!" Maki yelled out with a blush, pushing Nico away from her slightly.
The train was now slowly approaching the platform until it came to a halt. The doors opened up and people were starting to get off, Nico and Maki quickly got onto the train and went at sat down on the mini sofa's there. Nico, however, quickly pulled out her phone and quickly pulled Maki in and took a selfie. The picture was kinda cute if Maki was smiling more than being annoyed. She added some cute filters to the picture and placed a message under it.
'Date day with the bae, Nico-Nico-Wow~'
"You better not place that on the idol site!" Maki growled, she had to keep her voice down while on trains, it was the rule.
Nico pulled out her Instagram page and placed the image into her story. Comments soon started to pile in from fans saying;
'Loving the picture, Nico! Love you and Maki!
'NicoMaki is the best!'
'I wish I had a girlfriend like Maki! I'm so jealous of you, Nico-Nii!'
'Have fun on the date, you guys!'
Maki folded her arms and blushed, from all of the nice comments from the fans. She noticed that the photo at over 10'000 hearts and 5000 comments, she knew that Muse was popular but this popular? It was crazy to say the least. Soon, the train had finally pulled into the Harajuku station and both idols quickly jumped of the trains. The date is now starting. Nico looked at Maki with her pretty crimson eyes. "Where to first?"
"I guess go for a crepe first?" Maki suggested, grabbing Nico's hand gently as they crossed the street, towards Harajuku. "I kinda missed lunch"
Nico liked Maki's suggestion as she was hungry too. They made their way through the large crowd of people to find a crepe shop. Harajuku was always busy on a weekend, so both Maki and Nico had to make sure not to lose each other. But they quickly found a crepe shop and got in line to order. Maki looked at Nico with a smile as she pulled out some Yen. "I'm paying okay? Pick what you want"
Nico's eyes sparkled slightly as she smiled back and she started to look through the menu before being served. The idol pointed over to the one she wanted and moved away from Maki so she can order the crepes. Maki was now next to be served and the assisnt smiled over at her. "Good afternoon miss! What can I get you?"
Maki bowed in respect with a smile. "Good afternoon! Can I get two crepes please?"
"Of course! What flavours?"
"Could I get one strawberry crepe with whipped cream, strawberry sauce and vanilla ice cream? And one banana crepe with whipped cream, toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream please?" Maki said, smiling.
The assistant smiled back she put the order into the cashier. "You certainly may...and your total is 1747 Yen" Maki went into her bag and pulled out two 1000 Yen dollars and placed them on the tray in front of her, she got her change back and wait for the crepes. After a few moments, the assist handed over the crepes and gave her two pink spoons. "Enjoy them!"
"Thank you!" Maki took the crepes and made her way back to Nico, who was sitting on the bench near the crepe store. "Here"
"Oooooooo thank you, Maki-chan" Nico smiled, accepting the crepe that Maki had given her. She took the spoon and started to eat. "Mmmm tastes so good!"
Maki just giggled as she started eat hers.
Halfway through eating, Maki noticed that Nico had a bit of cream on her cheek. Maki blushed as she ran her fingers on Nico's cheek which made Nico blush. "M-Maki!? Wh-What are you doing?!"
Maki scooped up the cream with her finger and placed it in her mouth. "You had some cream on your cheek and I couldn't resist~"
Nico blushed up a bright red. Maki seems so bold when they were alone but when it came to being with the rest of the girls, she was such a quiet yet annoying brat. Once they finished their mini snack and threw the trash away in the street bins, they decided to check out the stores around Harajuku. Nico had dragged Maki into all of the cute clothing stores and this went on for a few hours.
Maki then pulled out her phone and saw it was now 4pm. Luckily, she had one more place to go and that was in Akiba. Both she and Nico had finally left Harajuku carrying a few shopping bags of the products they had brought. They both had a great time together as they continued to hold hands down the street, they had decided to walk to Akiba. Nico had no idea why Maki wanted to go to Akiba as it is A-Rise territory. "Maki-chan? Why are we going to Akiba?"
The red head continued to walk with Nico as she looked at her girlfriend. "Because...I've ordered you something"
"Huh? Ordered me something?" Nico questioned, blinking her crimson eyes at Maki "You didn't have to-"
Maki quickly silenced Nico with her lips on hers. Both Nico and Maki had only shared kisses on cheeks, noses and foreheads but never on the lips. Maki pulled away from Nico as she blushed brightly. "I had to...they would of been sold out if I didn't order it"
Nico was still blushing brightly from the kiss Maki had given her. They made it to Akiba after good long while, Maki told Nico to wait outside while she went into the store to grab what she ordered. A few long minutes later, she came out with a box and handed it to Nico. "Here...this is for you"
Nico smiled as she accepted the box from her. She turned it around and nearly dropped it from shock, tears stung her eyes as she looked at Maki. "Ho-How did you-"
Maki pulled Nico into a gently hug, who was still holding the box. "I have my ways. I know you like to collect idol stuff, so, have my newest figure of me"
The black haired girl looked down at the box and a tear fell. It was the Maki Nishikino Birthday figure and it was very expensive on the Japanese market and it goes for 15'000 Yen in price. "Maki-chan...thank you"
Maki just blushed and turned the other way with her eyes shut. "J-Just look after it! If you b-break it...I will break you! Got it?"
Nico smiled as she made Maki face her and gave her a peck on her lips. "Thank you, I will look after it"
This made the red head smile as she nuzzled Nico's head slightly. "Ready to go?"
"Yeah, I'm kinda beat! But I had loads of fun with Maki-chan!" Nico said, beaming with joy as she held her bags and her new figure box.
Both of the girls didn't take the train as Nico did live in this area, luckily Nico's mother had to day off so she can look after Nico's younger siblings. After a while, they had made it to Nico's apartment. Neither of them wanted to leave each other at this moment. Nico put her figure box and her shopping down and pulled down Maki into a kiss, Maki quickly reacted and kissed the midget back. Nico's arms were wrapped round Maki's neck while Maki's arms were wrapped round her waist, slightly lifting her arm. They both tasted like the crepes they had eaten a few hours before. After a few minutes, they pulled away breaking their mini make out session, placing their foreheads on each other. Maki looked into Nico's eyes, filled with love. "I love you, Nico-chan"
Nico smiled gently. This was the first time Maki had said 'I love you' to her and it felt wonderful to hear those words. "I love you too, Maki-chan"
The red head placed another kiss on Nico's head and pulled away from her. "I'll see you on Monday?"
Nico nodded, grabbing her stuff again from the floor. "Yep! See you then, Maki-Maki-Maa~"
Maki glared at her midget girlfriend with a red face, but then smiled slightly. "You're such a baka"
"Yeah...but I'm your baka~" Nico purred slightly, wriggling her eyebrows.
After that note, Maki turned around and started to leave to go home. She could hear Nico's giggles as she left the building to go home, her lips were still trembling from Nico's kiss and it made her feel so loved at this moment. Maki was home after a 30min train journey, she opened the gates and walked towards her house. She opened the front door and took her shoes off, placing her bags next to her. Her mother heard her daughter returning and greeted her with a smile. "How was your date? Did you have fun?"
Maki rose up from the floor, grabbing her stuff. "Yes mama, it was a lot of fun"
Her mother smiled and was happy to hear that her daughter had fun. "I'm glad, dear. Dinner shall be ready soon, me and your father shall see you soon, okay?"
"Yes mother, I will be down shortly. After I place my shopping away" She said, making her way to her room which was upstairs. She pulled out some of the new clothing she had brought. A new pink blouse, some cute socks, some jeans and the best little gift she brought for herself, when Nico wasn't looking. She pulled out a cute little Nico nesoberi keychain and she wrapped the little chain on her bed railing where she sleeps. She smiled at its cuteness as she planted a little kiss on it.
"Maki! Dinner is ready!"
"Coming papa!" She cried out, she left her room and closed her door. Maki cannot wait to tell her parents about her date with Nico.
Maki could not wait for the 2nd date with the idol she loved more than Santa-san or her parents combined. And she hoped that Nico felt the same way about it too. Maki grinned as the words 'NicoMaki' entered her mind. She pulled out her phone as she looked into her gallery and found the kissing photo she had took secretly without Nico knowing while outside her apartment. She added filters and words under it saying;
'Date was a success and here is a kiss for you NicoMaki fans out there~'
She too uploaded it to her Instagram story and it exploded with comments and reactions. Maki's photo had gained over 30'000 hearts and over 5000 comments. She knew that Nico will kill her soon or later but...revenge was sweet! She read through some of the comments and she couldn't help but giggle at a few of them.
'Omg my dream has come true! You guys are so good together!
'Eeeeeee! NicoMaki is real! I can now die happy!'
'Maki-Maki-Maa and Nico-Nico-Nii make the best couple and no one can stop me!'
Maki would have to read the rest later as she made her way downstairs for dinner. She blushed up as she thought of her little midget while eating. She loves Nico so much and no one can stop her. She is in love with the best super idol in the universe and now...she cannot wait for the 2nd date and she hopes it will be sooner rather that later.
