The people who had been waiting for the next chapter of my previous Gokusen story, I'm sorry I had to delete it. I wasn't liking how the story was going, so after thus long debate, I'm going to do sonething different. I'm going to do my story of season 2 of Gokusen and write different characters that would be Yankumi's female students and I'm planning like with my previous one into making this into a series. I hope you like this fic and leave me lots of comments.
Thank you, and enjoy my fic love you all.
"Everyone, feel this breeze, that greenery, the vast blue sky, and the bright sun. And that ocean. Isn't it wonderful? I feel happy being able to laugh, cry, warm, and...supporting and encouraging each other every day in the midst of this beautiful nature. Let's shed some sweat together from now on. That's right. Sweat from the heart."
Shin sat on the grass next to the bolder, his former teacher's cousin Naruki sitting next to him, rolled his eyes and smiled to himself. She always took everything too passionately and dramatically sometimes. Though how much a kindergarten class was going to take her passionate words to heart there couldn't be any way of knowing. He wasn't even sure he'd be able to get her to leave the mountain area and come back to Tokyo. It had taken her a while to find a new job after Shirokin had closed down, it was hard for any normal teachers to find jobs, but she wasn't just any teacher... she was the 4th heir of the Yakuza Oedo cla which had been exposed as one, it had been nearly impossible to get a teaching job.
She had finally found one here in the country and had been teaching there for two months. He was worried that she might be too settled in to come home, even though notice had come in the mail for her. Tetsu had reluctantly given him it when he came over, back from his trip in Africa, though only felt better when he knew Naruki was coming with him. That offered her a job at Kurogin. And high school math was what she really wanted to teach, not teaching five-year-olds.
He tried to stifle a laugh, trying not to be seen by her; they'd stopped her speech right in its tracks; Naruki was doubling over in silent laughter. Her voice was high pitch of confusion when she answered. "Hey Daisuke, don't take other's things. No, don't kick them either."
"Sensei, I have to pee."
"Huh? You have to pee?"
If Shin wasn't too careful he'd lose control and roll down the hill laughing. Best let her know he and Naruki were here before he gave himself away; he didn't want to start their reunion with bruises. "Oi, Yankumi!"
She looked up, eyes wide and searching, going wider when she saw them. "Shin! Naruki!" A jump and she was off the boulder she was perched on...though why she'd been up there making a dramatic speech to kindergarteners he could only figure. "What are you doing here?"
"We came to bring you home."
"Who the heck are you?"
Both men glanced at the little boy who was pointing at him and then glanced back to Kumiko. "You're teaching them weird things?" Shin asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Well...sometimes it just happens."
"You should really therapist to help you with that." Naruki teased and Kumiko punched him in the shoulder; almost making him double over by the force of the action.
He ignored the fighting cousins and leaned down to address the boy. "I'm her future fiancé." The class froze in silence and he grinned; Kumiko sputtered at the untruth and Naruki snorted. He turned back to her. "Oi, come and talk with me for a bit."
"Shin, we're in the middle of class!"
He took her hand and led her away from the kindergarteners and Naruki. "You've got a job waiting in Tokyo."
"Eh?"
Shin pulled out the letter from his jacket. "Here."
She accepted it and looked it over.
"Kurogin Gakuen?" Hopeful brown eyes looked up at him. "I could teach high school again?"
"Yeah."
"Because of them?" He motioned to the group of children.
"Yes, the cute little children of Koyagi Kindergarten need me."
"Yamaguchi-sensei." They both turned to look toward the new voice to see four women standing with the kids. "Sorry, but you're fired."
"Principal?"
"We've received complaint calls from parents." The principal told her...and then the others joined in.
"You taught the children gambling card games."
"Getting children to sing yakuza songs is a bit too much."
"Besides, your use of words at times seems to be problematic too."
"Ohikaenasutte."
"Don't you know "duty and compassion"?"
"Beat 'em up!"
Naruki gave his cousin an incredulous, horrified look.
The principal smiled not unkindly. "The parent's trust is our top priority. That's all." She turned to the children, clapping. "Okay everyone, it's time for nap time. Let's go back." They cheered and followed the group of women down the hill, waving Kumiko goodbye.
"Wait, Principal."
Shin tried not to smile; this would mean his Kumiko would be coming home. She looked to the horizon dramatically and sighed. "Hey Shin, Naruki, do you think this is god's way of telling me to teach at Kurogin Gakuen, right?"
"Yeah."
"Sure, whatever." Naruki shrugged.
"Everyone from Koyagi Kindergarten, be in good health." She nodded in hopefulness for the former kindergarteners in her care. Before either he or Naruki could stop her, not that he would, she was back on the boulder. "From now on, I, Yamaguchi Kumiko, will shed tears from the heart with the students from Kurogin Gakuen." She fit bumped the air. "Alright."
"You haven't even met them yet." He muttered with a smile.
"I don't how I survived living with her all these years." Naruki shook his head.
