Hermione dropped down, cutting her leg open in the following ruble on the ground, she almost screamed in pain but however that was much better a result that getting hit by the following spell she had just dodged. She knew she only had minutes left to get to him or they might all be dead.

She didn't even wast twine trying to check her watch. She just ran, almost rolling her rankle on the lying about ruble, screaming at deaths, but she knew she'd be more than screaming if she didn't get to him.

She cast spells and dodged some, her curls flying endlessly.

All it took was for her to get hit with a crucial from behind, and she'd stumble, wasting another minute of precious time.

She only had one thing left to keep her going. The image of him in her eyes.

She jumped out of the way with a group of students and the ground shook like a tsunami of a hundred earthquakes in one. The whole battle field shook and everyone fell. She ran towards the outside corridors of the castle but screamed and came to a stop to turn 180 degrees sound as a wave of giant spiders clambered over the walls towards her.

She knew one more short cut, she'd have to run through the castle and near the east tower.

She dodged another curse. I can't die. I don't have time to die.

She just needed to know he was okay. Just to see him once. To kiss him once.

I don't have time to die. I don't have time to die. I don't have time to die. I don't have time to die. Malfoy please.

She ran and jumped over a half broken wall, hitting her feet on the uneven ground but she just ignored the pain and gripped onto her denim jacket as she dodged another curse. Why did everyone have to be firing curses at her? Why not anyone else who wasn't trying to find him?

Her mind raced as she headed for the corridors, half the castle walls were open now- smashed throughly. It might be easier to get through.

Though as she ran she found her pathways blocked by towers of rumble. She came to a dead end, no more empty corridors to run through. She screamed in frustration before she flicked her wand, making a path and she ran through before it collapsed behind her.

Dust filled the air with clogged her eyes and her throat. She stopped on the top of her toes, coughing, trying to wipe her eyes.

Come on, where are you!

She came to a four way corridor. She turned eachway, letting her hair whip her face.

She sighed, her breath uneven but she ignored it, "No, no, no, no, no."

She cursed as she pulled out her wand. "Come on there's got to be a spell."

She tried to think of something.

Her ears exploded and the ground quacked as there was an explosion. The halls filled with sparks of red and green. She turned behind her, half the corridor had exploded open. She shot a spark at a Deatheater before she ran one direction. Panting helplessly.

Honestly the sound of silence scared her as she came to a two way corridor. Which way!?

She ran one way looking around as she came into an open room.

She heard a scream around her and she sighed.

The corridor wall smashed again near her and the hall was filled with smoke and dust.

It filled her eyes and Hermione coughed hard trying to blink away the dust and dirt, she inhaled which was a bad idea. The dirt and dust filled her throat and scratched at her lungs inside her. She coughed hard and pushed her mouth into her shirt to filter her breathing. She ignored the fight happening around them.

Hermione ran again ina direction. Every last speck of existing Hope was used in her current prayers to find him.

God please..She yelled in her head as she ran past classrooms, maybe with Deatheaters in them, or friends fighting. She didn't care. She didn't stop for anyone.

Her legs were burning by now, pain shooting up her thighs. Her arms were hurting too, pain pulsed up her body. She had never felt so hurt in her life. She felt like giving up, she felt like falling and staying there, letting the world around her kill her.

But it was him, and only him that kept her going.

She tripped over a rock and fell to the ground. She hit her chest hard on the ground and she chocked on her own breath coughing. I broke something.

She was coughing rather hard now. She sat up and gave one choking cough and a handful of blood cams out of her lips. Oh my god.

She looked at it horrified. I don't have time to die.

She stood up and sighed. Her legs were almost dead, her breathe as killing her and her insides were ripping its self apart.

She shook her head, "Keep going."

She checked her watch. Two minutes.

Two minutes. She took her mark and ran as fast as she could. Faster than she had ever run. She passed the great hall, the distant sound of screaming and explosions echoed the halls. It was scarily more quiet in the school.

She got hit with a spell from some one and fell over, "No!" She shouted and shot a killing curse at the dark haired man which had cast her down.

She yelled out in pain as she looked down at her leg trying to get up. Her ankle looked a funny shape. "No."

I can't die. I don't have time to die.

She looked down the corridor and almost cried in relife, it was the room she was looking for.

Dumbledore office, only about 50 metres away.

She tried to stand on her ankle and screamed out in pain. She grabbed her wand and with a shaking hand fixed it. It hurt. Everything hurt. Her heart hurt.

But she needed to get to him. And she was almost there. With the last of her power she stood up and ran down the corridor. "Draco!"

She heard nothing in response as she cam eup the the griffin stairs, "Draco!" She called out.

She ran up the stairs. "Draco!"

She tripped at the end but forced herself to get up. "Draco!"

She banged her hands against the office door which was locked shut. She screamed his name in hope he wasn't dead. Come on!

"Draco!"

Then she heard a snake like voice, "You have an hour, kill her or I kill you."

"Draco!" She screamed.

There was a loud bang and suddenly the office door opened. She almost fell forward as she spotted the slivery eyes she had been looking for. His blonde hair was messy and fluffed up. He had his Slytherin robes on and ever now, he looked as handsome as ever.

"Hermione!" Came his breathless cry which made her run towards him.

He ran towards her and the two hit, meeting. He wrapped his arms around her. "What are you doing?"

He kissed her and hugged her attacking her cheeks with kissed. "Stupid Hermione." He said before he kissed her lips. "I told you not to come!" He kissed her again before he rested his forehead against her, "Granger why. Why don't you listen to me Hermione?"

She shook her head, "I want to be with you when I die." She said. "If I have to die tonight I want your face to be the last one I see."

Then she kissed him and they held each other. Despite the war going on outside, despite everything. They loved each other. And that was all.

"He's gonna kill us Hermione." He said.

"What?" Hermione asked.

He pointed to his stomach as he lifted his shirt up. There was a bomb. Hermione shook her head, "No!" She cried out. She wrapped her arms around his neck, "No, if you die I'm coming with you."

Draco tried to push her off, "No you can't die."

Hermione pushed his arms off of her, "Stop!" She screamed.

He shook his head, "Granger no! You have 20 seconds to get the hell out of here or I'll push you myself."

Hermione shook her head as she clung to him. He tried to push her off again. "Draco Stop!" She yelled.

"Why?" He cried. Hermione let go of him and looke him in the eyes, "You don't want the last thing you see to be your girlfriend screaming in horror."

Draco looked down at the bomb. "Ten seconds."

Hermione warped her arms around his neck, "The. Let's make it the best ten seconds of your life." She said.

She had tears in her eyes and so did he, but they were happy tears. Happy they'd die together. Hermione was a little disappointed she'd run all this way just so he could get them both killed. But if they died together it would be worth it.

Five seconds.

She kissed him, "I love you."

He shook his head, "You waited until now?"

Four seconds,

"Yes." She said.

Three seconds. "I love you two."

She kissed him passionately, but softly.

Two seconds. "I love you so much.

One second. " I love you to-"

And that's my one shot. How we doing after that? We okay? I'm sorry I made it really sad but it was sort of a happy ending. I hope you enjoyed, or cried maybe. Did you? Leave a review and give me some feedback then? Thanks. Go read some of my other fanfics and fluff stories to cheer you up after that.
