Something I thought up while bored. Hope you enjoy!
Darkness and Light, Into the Chaos!
Breakfast at Chaldea had become a rather interesting affair for EMIYA. He and Parvati(who had slipped away from a protective Rider Medusa), would come into the kitchen and work together to cook some incredibly tasty meal. Just as they were finishing, Jaguar Warrior would burst in with a cry of "I'm hungry!"
EMIYA would shake his head and tell her, "The food's almost ready, just wait a few more minutes." To which the Lancer would whine and take a seat at the table she and some of the others sat at regularly.
Next would come Saber Arturia, dismissing her knights to sit next to Jaguar Warrior after greeting the red Archer and blue Lancer. Jaguar Warrior would whine about how hungry she was, while Arturia would attempt to distract her with anything that came to mind.
Just as EMIYA and Parvati would finish cooking, Ishtar would come floating in, sitting across fr Arturia, who greeted the Goddess warmly. The three female Servants would strike up a small conversation, and Ishtar would scream as Illya yelled "Boo!" At the top of her lungs, right next to the Archer's ear. Illya would laugh, Ishtar would be furious and spewing empty threats, Jaguar Warrior would laugh, and EMIYA would give a long suffering sigh as he and Parvati set the food out.
Everyone at the table would begin eating and talking. What they would talk about was anyone's guess, as the subject was different depending on who started the dialogue. Today's topic seemed to be about who would win Master's affection. Saber and Illya agreed Mash was the most likely candidate, while Ishtar boasted that her beauty would win her the day. Which triggered a fight when Jaguar Warrior remarked, "Yeah, and your personality will send h running the other way."
And through it all, EMIYA would smile slightly as he remembers a different time. He knew on an intellectual level that this wasn't the family he knew... Well, most of it wasn't. Saber had quickly dissuaded him of the idea that she didn't remember when she was summoned a week after him.
Anyway, he knew that most of these people weren't the ones he knew so long ago, but sometimes old mannerisms from his fellow Servants, Ishtar's flustered face being one of his favorites, he couldn't help remembering. And he pretended, for just a few minutes, that he was Shiro again, instead of Heroic Spirit EMIYA.
Those were some of his favorite times, just sitting at that table with the Servants who wore the faces of his family and pretending he was in a spimpler time.
Well, simpler for me. he thought with a chuckle as Illya and Ishtar got into a tug-of-war over a piece of meat.
And done! So what did people think? I kinda got it into my head that the Servants mentioned might subconsciously gravitate towards each other. This was the result. So, I guess leave a review and I'll see you all next time!
PS: Release the Hound is still on progress, but writers block is a bitch.
