Annabeth I

Annabeth paced the deck of the Argo II with million things on her mind. She wondered if their plans to enter Rome without being shot down would work, if they would survive the New Giant War but most of all what happened to her soulmate Percy Jackson.

Thaila and Piper walked over, noticing Annabeth's discomfort.

"Don't worry Annabeth I'm sure everything is going to be fine" said Thalia.

"Besides from what you've told me Percy Jackson is practically the strongest demigod on Earth" replied Piper

Then Clarisse walked over and put her hand on my shoulder, she was surprisingly comforting in Percy's disappearance, she had really come to like the daughter of Ares.

Clarisse said "If he hasn't gotten back his memories I'll knock him on the head for free.

"And relax I'm sure he hasn't met anyone" said Piper

"What about that Reyna, Jason Blushes every time we mention her, sorry Pipes" Annnabeth retaliated, only noticing her poor choice of words at the last second

"It's fine" she said discouraged

Annabeth thought it was best not to linger on the topic. "I guess, we should go over the plan once more with everybody" Annabeth said

We headed inside and she started to explain the key points to the cabin heads who had accompanied them. "Remember Roman names first". There were a couple of grons mostly from Drew, who had insisted on coming as a back-up charm-speaker, but even she wasn't crazy enough to defy Annabeth.

Suddenly Leo's voice boomed over the speaker "This is Supreme Commander Leo we have arrived"

We all rushed outside to see a beautiful city made from white marble under us. Everyone had looks of amazement on our faces. I saw so many concepts I wanted to incorporate in my remodeling of Olympus.

As we lowered down the ship, we raised our white flag to let the Roman know we come in peace. We sent them a video scroll hoping they wouldn't take us landing as an act of war. I told Katie and Clarisse to tell everyone to gear up and be ready to run if things get bad, but stay on the ship.

Jason told Leo to set them down on a lush green field.

We sent Jason and Piper down first hoping they would be less reluctant to skewer their old leader and piper in hopes of charm-speaking them. After they got down they were face to face with about 300 romans. A dark-haired girl with a purple cape stepped forward.

"I am Reyna, daughter of Bellona and Praetor of the 12th legion" said Reyna coldly with a guarded expression.

Then they went around and introduced themselves. A baby-faced muscular guy and a cinnamon colored hair introduced themselves as Frank and Hazel.

"We accompanied Percy on the quest" said Hazel warmly as if she knew Percy for years.

When Hazel mentioned Percy, Annabeth's heart skipped a beat.

Suddenly a scrawny boy with dirty blond hair came forward and yelled " WE CAN NOT TRUST THESE GREEKS THERE FIRST ACT WAS BRINGING A WARSHIP TO OUR GLORIOUS HOME"

Murmurs spread through the Roman crowd. Annabeth was about to say something in retaliation when a commanding yet friendly voice said "Octavian, I could have sworn I told you to to treat our greek friends with kindness and respect, now call me crazy but I don't think that was very kind".

Immediately the entire Argo II filled with cheers as did Annabeth's heart.
