Kavin : It is not going to work, Purvi!
Purvi : Please Kavin!
Kavin : No, I can't do this alone.
Purvi : You are the best.
Kavin gleaming with pride: Is it?
Purvi nods her head and shows him her puppy eyes.
Kavin sighs and said, "Fine. You can go now."
Purvi : Are you damn sure you will handle on your own?
Kavin : Yep. It's alone time now.
Purvi : Thanks Kavin for understanding me.
Kavin gives her a look and turns back going to the kitchen.
Purvi ran away to her room, hugged her pillows and slept.
Kavin goes to guest room, takes the baby and sighs.
Kavin : Hey champ, be cool huh. Don't make it hard for me.
Baby looks at him as if he understood everything.
Kavin feeds him boiled milk and pats him to sleep.
The baby puked in Kavin's clothes.
Kavin called out, " Purviiiii.. the baby puked."
Purvi in a tired tone, "It's normal to puke after drinking milk. Just pat him in the back"
After an hour or so,
Kavin : Champ, let's sleep now.
The baby refused to sleep in Kavin's arms.
Kavin again called out to Purvi, " Purviiii, the baby doesn't sleep."
Purvi from upstairs, "Cuddle him"
Kavin giggles and said, "Okay, Thanks!"
Kavin : Sleep mode on.
As he was going to cuddle, the baby hit him hard on the face with his leg.
Kavin's face looked like a crushed tomato.
Purvi sees this from up and bursts out laughing.
Kavin : You better come down or I will come up.
Purvi laughs and comes down.
Purvi : It's not really tough.
Purvi : Watch me, hey baby..come to me.
Purvi went towards the baby and held him.
Purvi : Wait a minute, where is his diaper?
Purvi shots a glance to Kavin who looked horrified.
Kavin points to her dress.
Purvi looks down to see wet patches.
Purvi shouts, " Kavin!"
Purvi : How many times do I have to tell you to put his diaper?
Kavin : Sorry, I forgot.
As purvi goes, Kavin winks to the baby, "Well done my champ!"
The baby giggled at him.
Purvi took the baby to the room and laid him on the bed.
Kavin followed her to the room.
Purvi opened the cupboard and took clothes and accessories for the baby.
Purvi : Let's dress up now.
The baby pulled Purvi's hair and played with it.
10 minutes later,
Kavin : Purvi, are you not done?
Kavin looks at the baby and says, "Not again."
Kavin : You do realise that the baby is a boy, right?
Kavin eyes the baby's clothes.
A cute pink skirt with rose top, "Daddy's princess" written over it.
Pink hairband on the head with matching shoes.
Purvi : I like this better. What is wrong with this, huh?
Kavin turned to the baby and exclaimed, " Poor champ!"
Purvi laid him on the bed and kissed his forehead.
Purvi sang a small hymn and patted the baby.
Soon, the baby was asleep.
Purvi signalled Kavin, "Let's go outside now"
Purvi was about to go when she slipped.
Kavin firmly wrapped his left arm around her midriff, silencing her scream with his lips.
They were in dreamland when a doorbell made them aware of the surroundings.
Purvi blushed a darkest shade of pink and moved to open the door.
Kavin followed her.
Purvi : Abhijeet Sir? Tarika?
Kavin : Why are you so early? Come inside.
Abhirika sat on the chair and smiled at them.
Abhijeet : The meeting was cancelled. We were at the airport when the news came.
Tarika : Hope Arush did not disturb you guys.
Kavin and Purvi nervously smiled at each other.
Together they said, " Nope."
"I can see that" said Abhijeet eyeing Purvi's hair and Kavin's dress.
Abhirika burst out into laughter.
Tarika went up to take the baby and seeing her baby,
"Purvi, not again!"
Seeing their baby boy as a girl, Abhijeet could not hold his laughter.
Abhijeet : Purvi aunty loves you so much.
Purvi sheepishly looked down.
Abhirika laughed with Kavin and soon bid farewell.
Both Purvi and Kavin kissed the baby and asked them to come often.
Closing the door, Purvi and Kavin looked at each other and ran to the bedroom.
"Me, first!", said Purvi.
Kavin literally jumped to the bed.
Purvi : Kavin.
Kavin : Hmm?
Purvi blushed and said," When will our baby come?"
Kavin : Soon.
Saying this, Kavin turned off the lights.
