There might be spelling mistakes and crappy writing. This chapter will be short.
Ever since the Dutch Day incident, things in New Holland have never been the same since. Weird girl had been depressed and became mute after finding her deceased cat in the damaged windmill. Nassor was injured after being wrapped up a mummy coffin and was spent weeks in the hospital. Toshiaki had been sad knowing that shelly's body was gone, and all that was left was the shell of his pet turtle. Bob had been dealing with anxiety after being traumatized from the monster pets during dutch day. Elsa nearly died when she fell from the burning windmill but was rescued by Victor. Her dog Persephone was gladly alive. Edgar had been dealing with some issues with his mom. And as for Victor. Well...
Victor stopped smiling. He began to hate sports, especially baseball. Whenever Victor came home from school he would go straight to his room and locked himself all day. He only leaves just to go to the bathroom or to get some food from the kitchen. He started to distance himself from his parents and Elsa. Elsa had tried talking to Victor getting him to open up. But Victor would shut her out. Victor would be heard crying in his room or staying silent. He kept Sparky's collar. It was the only thing left from Sparky. Victor never let his parents take it. Victor would stay quiet and sit alone during lunch time. He did not sit with Elsa or even Edgar.
Victor did not leave the house often. He would only leave to Visit Sparky's grave.
One day, on a Friday afternoon. Victor was walking to the cemetery where his deceased dog was sleeping at. He pushed pass the gates and walked in. He did not look at the other graves. He gripped on Sparky's collar in his hands. He walked up to Sparky's grave. He stared at the grave, it was a crossed bone grave with Sparky's name on it. Victor then raised his hand and placed it on Sparky's gravestone. He bit his tongue, a tear fell down his cheek. He quickly wiped it away.
"Hey Sparky...how's the afterlife?". Victor asked, in a sad tone. He did not take his eyes off the gravestone.
"I'm sorry for not saving you sparky...I was so stupid and weak. I couldn't save you from...". Victor's voice cracked. He could feel the tears falling down his cheeks. He layed his forhead on the gravestone. His hands clenched into fists. Victor then found his words.
"I'm sorry!...I-I...I miss you Sparky...". Victor cried out softly. Letting the tears flow. He didn't care if anyone in the streets could hear him. It's not like anyone would care. After all, Victor had no friends right?
Victor spent hours crying to Sparky's gravestone. He continued to cry and sob hard. Then after calming down, he slowly stood up to his feet. He turned back to the gravestone one last time. He then began to walk out of the cemetery. Victor then crossed the streets, not having contact with anyone that he walked passed.
Victor then walked up to the entrance of his house. His mother opened the door.
"Where were you? You were supposed to come home on time!". Susan Frankenstein shouted. Victor did not say anything back to her. He walked pass her and to his bedroom. Locking himself in. Sometimes, Victor would come late from school. Susan sighed.
Elsa was outside in her backyard. She sat against the fence.
Persephone was sitting on her lap.
"What does Victor do in his room?". Elsa asked herself. She nearly zoned out. She really liked Victor, and wanted to spend more time with him. She wanted to get Victor to open up to her. But he either ignores her or just shut her out. The death of Sparky really had a bad effect on him.
"Should I visit him Persephone?". Elsa asked her dog. Persephone began to wag her tail and gave two barks at her. "Hmm...but what if he shuts me out?". Elsa asked. Persephone then got off of Elsa's lap and pull her sleeve. She whined.
"What is it girl?". Elsa asked. She looked up and noticed Edgar was standing on the sidewalk. Elsa stood up and began to walk to him. "Hey Edgar-".
"AHHH!-Oh, it's just you Elsa...". Edgar sighed. "What are you doing?". Elsa asked
"Oh, I'm just talking a walk". Edgar responded. "Hey uhh, have you been talking with Victor lately?". Edgar asked. Elsa looked away. "Well, I tried talking to him. I've talked to him a few times. But he would end up shutting me out". Elsa responded.
"H-How's he been?". Edgar asked hesitated.
"I...I'm not sure". Elsa responded.
Edgar looked away nervously. "L-Look, I need to go! Bye Elsa!". Edgar said before quickly storming off leaving Elsa puzzled. She looked down at her dog Persephone, she had a weirded out and confused look on her face.
"Let's go inside". Elsa said. Persephone followed her inside.
