The Villain Unknown ~ By Taehyungie22

Summary- Izuku Midoriya was left on that rooftop after his uneventful chat with All Might to think over what had been said, and while he does save Katsuki Bakugou from the sludge villain, he doesn't take the same route home as usual and consequently doesn't speak to All Might for a second time. Deku does, however, run into a more sinister character.

Chapter 1

Izuku couldn't believe that he, the quirkless Deku, had not only managed to save his longtime bullies life but also get chewed out by the local pro heroes for it. Well, what could he expect, he is Deku and All Might himself told Izuku that he couldn't achieve his dream or amount to anything really. Which is exactly why he is purposefully taking the scenic route home to ponder what life he could possibly choose. As life would have it, he didn't have to wonder for long as a rather unnerving voice interrupted his musings…

"Hello there child, I couldn't help but overhear your slight dilemma and was questioning whether I would be able to provide a solution. It is up to you if you accept or not, but I believe that you will be a valued member of the League of Villains." The raspy voice startled young Izuku out of his ramblings and made him turn as stiff as a board.

He didn't know what to say in response as he cautiously glanced around at the numerous shadowed corners in the darkening street. The League of Villains? What about being a hero? Oh wait, he already had that dream crushed, but what if he worked on the inside, pretended to be on their good side and gather information from them to eventually overthrow the entire League? It could work, but his mom and school where also concerns on the forefront of his mind.

"Um… I have a few questions actually. What is 'The League of Villains'? Who are you exactly? What happens if I join? What would happen if I choose not to? What about my school or my mom? What will I tell her? And just one more, why me?" Izuku blurted out the questions with pretty much no filter and he didn't expect to actually get an answer to a few of them but at least he tried.

The mystery visitor cut off Izuku's internal ramblings with his response. "The League of Villains is exactly that, a league of villains who don't agree with how heroes are idolised when they are responsible for most of the damages and deaths that villains get blamed for. They wish to change that by means I can only explain if you accept my gracious offer. If you join us, you will be respected and treated like family, you will be trained both physically and mentally and you will be able to utilise the obvious analysis skills you have. Choosing to deny this offer is, as I said earlier, up to you but if you do deny, then you will continue on with your life as normal, however, if a single word of this got out, then there will be serious consequences." The somewhat grating voice took a break to either soothe his voice or to allow the boy he was speaking to think over all of what was being said.

This was an incredible amount of information for Izuku to process but it did answer a large majority of his questions. It also gave him insight, however slight, into the mentality and goals that these people had and whether his sloppy plan was going to be worth it. Of course, it was because it seems that if this organisation grows in numbers and publicity, then they will be extremely dangerous and taking them down will be imperative- Once again Izuku was brought out of his internal musings by his slightly creepy guest.

"As for schooling and your mother, you can choose to tell her about your joining us or not and then decide whether you wish to continue your usual schooling or to be homeschooled by a few of the capable villains in the League. And to answer your final question, because I have had my eye on you for a while young Midoriya Izuku, I know of you being quirkless and of the bullying you receive because of this, I also am highly impressed by you analysis skills as mentioned before, but if you join The League, then all of the bullying and such will disappear. So young one, what is your answer?"

Sorry for both the cliffhanger and the ridiculously long paragraphs but this is my first fanfiction and I am new to all of this. I will upload this sporadically as I probably might get a bit frustrated when writing. ~ Taehyungie22
