For those of you who are familiar with Clannad, do you remember when Kyou and Tomoya were stuck in the closet?
It was a Saturday afternoon when the Iwatobi Swim team had gone over to Samezuka to have another practice race against Rin and his team.
"Haru! Nice to see you!" Rin waved to the group as his friends approached the school.
"Rin, prepare to lose!" Nagisa boasted cheerfully along with Rei.
"No way! We're gonna win and-uh..." Nitori tried his best to retort.
"Geez Nitori-senpai, your hopeless." Mono shook his head.
"Sousuke! Let's go." Rin gestured to his tall dark haired friend.
"Yeah, okay."
The boys began to take off their clothes and got ready for their race.
Gou sat down on a chair by the sidelines with the rest of the Samezuka team to watch her brother and friends battle it out in the water.
"Looks like we win again Rin!" Makoto stuck his tongue out playfully.
"Dammit Haru! How do you guys always beat us by less than a second!" Rin cried in frustration.
"I guess we're just better." Haruka stated bluntly.
"You guys did win, I'll treat you guys to some food later but we need you guys to help clean up." Rin sighed.
"Gou, can you help me put these in the closet?" Sousuke asked.
"Sure Sousuke."
The two of them had a huge of pile of towels that needed to be hung up inside the large closet in the corner of the pool area.
Without either of them noticing, the closet door closed shut behind them. Then they heard the sound of a key locking it.
"S-Sousuke, did we just get locked in?" Gou asked nervously as she turned to him.
"I'll check." Sousuke replied shakily as he went to turn the doorknob.
"Yeah, I bet it was Nitori..." he muttered under his breath.
"Let's call Rin."
"Uh Sousuke, I left my phone outside...sorry..." Gou answered sheepishly.
"Crap, so did I..." Sousuke sighed. "Well Gou, what do we do now?"
"We could break the door down, but your arm..." Gou turned her gaze to Sousuke's injured arm.
"It's fine, but I don't want to destroy the closet." He chuckled in response.
After an hour or so, the two realized they'd be stuck in here for a while.
"It's pretty late, we might have to spend the night here." Sousuke realized.
"Are there any clean towels? We can use those as blankets." Gou suggested as she began to file through the objects in the closet.
"I've only found a few I hope this'll be enough." She passed him two medium small towels.
"It'll be okay, if we can't get out I'm sure nothing will get in." Sousuke said reassuringly as he thanked her for the towels.
"But are you gonna be okay?" He asked as the two of them found an empty space for them to sleep.
"It is a bit dark and uncomfortable." Gou wasn't a huge fan of the dark.
"You'll be okay, I'm here with you remember?" Sousuke nudged her.
"Thanks, goodnight, Sousuke." Gou said softly as she closed her eyes.
"'Night, Gou." Sousuke smiled.
"Love you." Gou whispered before she fell asleep.
creak* The door opened.
"Ai! I can't believe you locked Gou and Sousuke in the closet!" Rin scolded.
"I'm so sorry!" Nitori apologized.
"I just hope they're alright..." Makoto said worriedly as he opened the door.
"Gou-" Momo cried but stopped when he saw the two sleeping peacefully leaning on each other.
"Sousuke, Gou. Wake up." Rin chided at them.
"What time is it?" Gou asked rubbing her eyes.
"Rin? Is that you?" Sousuke asked sleepily as his eyelids wouldn't stay open.
"Oh yeah..." both of them remembered.
"Ai! How dare you lock us in the closet?!" Sousuke threatened.
"Yeah! Nitori you'll pay for this!" Gou added.
"Agh! I'm so sorry!" The grey haired boy fell to his knees in apology.
"You two looked very comfortable I must say." Rei smirked.
