The Turn of The Tide
General POV
The feeling of the room was filled with grief. For that was the reason they had gathered. To celebrate the lives of the Big Six.
After the battle of Dunbrock, The Big Six disappeared after burying Jake Cross in Berk. After seven months of searching, The Kingdoms decided to give up the search and to assume the worse. They were gone.
All of the kingdoms gathered in Corona to remember the fallen heroes.
King Frederic and Queen Arianna were heartbroken to know they would never see Rapunzel again. Eugene was very upset that his wife was gone.
King Fergus and Queen Elinor were just as heartbroken. They decided to leave the triplets home.
Valka was very stone-faced about all of it. She mourned her son, but the fact is, losing him felt normal compared to being separated for twenty years.
Kristoff had to step up to rule Arendelle as Ruling Steward. He felt horrible that he would never get the chance to marry Anna. He also missed Elsa, who had become a sister to him, and Jack, who was very close to him.
The four leaders sat at a table on the far side of the ballroom. In the center, actors performed the tales of The Six. Along the border people sat, watching the performance, remembering their heroes.
Frederic walked over to Valka. There was talk of some break out at Outcast Island, the kingdom's prison.
"Valka?"
Valka looked at him and sighed.
"Frederic. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you must be going through."
Frederic nodded. "You as well. Valka, there's a rumor going around that Outcast Island had a breakout?"
Valka nodded. "Well, it's true. Some mercs stormed the Island and freed most of the prisoners."
"Most?"
"Yes. They left him behind."
"Who?"
"Drago Bludvist."
The name sent an eerie chill through the room. Even though one was dead, one was imprisoned in ice, and one was in prison; The Sinister Three's names were still fresh in everyone's mind.
Just then, they heard a ruckus outside the door. It sounded like fighting. The leaders stood and motioned for the performance to stop.
Just then, the doors swung open to reveal four people and a dragon that looked like a scorpion.
The one near the dragon was tall, light blonde and a grim face. He wore dragon hunter gear.
Next to him was a woman with black hair and yellow eyes. She wore an extravagant black dress with gold trims
The other woman was heavily pregnant. She had golden blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hands were black and claw-like with red veins. She wore a black and red dress.
The last man, Kristoff knew well. Hans walked in alongside the blonde in his usual prince uniform.
The blonde one spoke to the room.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Sorry to ruin this evening's entertainment. Now that we have the pleasantries out of the way, please leave my house."
"Your house?" Queen Arianna asked.
"Yes. You see, I am in charge of Corona now. I'm in charge of the entire Kingdoms."
"How dare you come in here and insult us like this, lass." Queen Elinor said.
The blonde shook her head. "Hans, read the declaration."
Hans pulls out a scroll, unrolled it and began to read.
"We, the councils of Berk, Dunbrock, Arendelle, and Corona, do declare, being in the right sound and mind, that the following persons are unfit to rule. King Fergus and Queen Elinor, King Frederic and Queen Arianna, Chieftess Valka, and Steward Kristoff Bjorgman. The following persons shall rule in their stead.
Narissa Black, Daughter of the Master Pitch Black, shall rule Dunbrock.
Grimmel the Grisly, Slayer of the Night Furies, shall rule Berk
Prince Hans, of the Southern Isles, shall rule Arendelle.
Zika, wife of Lord Cyprus of Grimstad, shall rule Corona and be High Queen of all the Kingdoms until the rightful heir of Cyprus comes of age.
Thus, we do sign into law."
Hans flipped the scroll to reveal the signatures of the councils of each kingdom.
Fergus flipped the table in front of him over and drew his sword.
"YOULL HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME TO GET OUR LANDS!" He then charged at Hans.
Hans tossed the scroll to Zika and drew his sword. Fergus swung at him. Hans ducked, rolled, and stabbed him through.
Fergus let out a painful grunt and fell to the ground. Hans kicked him towards the tables. He rolled over to the tables, blood streaking across the floor.
"FERGUS!" Elinor yelled as she ran over to him.
Zika handed the scroll back to Hans. She then snapped her finger, releasing a red spark.
Corona guards rushed in with spears. They pointed them at the Leaders of the Kingdom.
"Guards, stand down!" Frederic yelled. "That's an order!"
"Fred, look at their eyes," Arianna said.
The guard's eyes were red.
Frederic looked at Zika. "You coward. You have Drago's power!"
"Quite astute of you to notice," Zika said with a smile. "Now, guards. Take them to the dungeon."
Just then, the windows burst open. The Berk Dragon Riders flew in, being led by Eret on Skullcrusher. Cloudjumper, Snotlout, Fishelegs, Ruffnut, and Tuffnutt with their dragons.
"Valka, get the leaders out!" Eret shouted as Skullcrusher used his tail to bat the guards away.
"Cloudjumper!" Valka gathered the leaders. Frederic and Kristoff grabbed Fergus and they all climbed on a dragon.
Before Zika and her people could do anything about it. The dragons took off with the leaders on them.

Zika's POV
Grimmel went to signal his dragons to follow them, but I grabbed his hand.
"Let them go. They have nowhere to run. We'll find them."
I let go of his hand and looked at my team.
"It's time to recruit our last member. And to make our weapon."

Varian's POV
I looked out the window of my cell. Some noise rang out upstairs and I was curious what it was.
I watched some dragons fly away.
"A dragon attack? That's unusual."
"Yes, it is."
I turn around to see a woman standing in the doorway of my open cell.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I am Queen Zika of Corona."
I realized what that meant.
"Where is Queen Arianna then?"
"The leaders fled their imprisonment."
I backed away to the wall. "What do you want with me?"
She smiled. "Follow me."
She walked away. I hesitantly followed. I looked around and saw all the other cells were empty. Except for one, which held my...
"Dad!"
There he was, freed from the amber and alive. I ran up and grabbed his hand.
"Varian, what is going on? What's happening?" he asked.
"Your son has been a very naughty boy, Mr. Quirin," Zika said with a smile.
Dad looked at her confused. Then looked at me. "Varian, what did you do?"
I sighed and explained everything to him. About taking Arianna to get Rapunzel to help me, declaring war on Corona, and everything else.
Dad looked at me with disbelief. "Why?"
"No one would help me free you!"
"But I did."
I looked over at Zika. "You did."
"Yes. My hands can control any living thing. And since the amber was somewhat alive, I used my powers to free him."
I hugged her. "Thank you. What can I do to repay you?"
"You can join me as my right-hand inventor."
"Varian, don't!" Dad shouted.
I thought about it. "What would I have to do?"
She smiled. "Come with me."
As I followed her, Dad shouted at me not to join her.
We came into a large room. Kind of like my lab. In the middle of the room, was a girl. She had a simple wrapping around her breasts and shorts on. She was blonde with bangs. She looked muscular except for her legs. They looked like she hadn't walked in a while.
"Let me go, you wench." She screamed at Zika.
Zika smiled and looked at me.
"This is Astrid. She used to be Hiccup Haddock's betrothed, but she had an accident. Now she's paralyzed from the waist down."
"Wait, the dragon rider, Hiccup?"
"The same, kid," Astrid said.
"Since you are an expert in alchemy and engineering. I want you to make her into a living weapon."
I thought about it. I studied her legs.
"I have thought of a frame that could allow people to walk again."
"Could it be weaponized?" She asked.
"Yes, it could."
"Do it then."
"I'll never work for you!" Astrid said in hate.
Zika shook her head. "Also, try to get her to comply."
"Will do," I said. She then extended her claw-like hand.
"Welcome aboard."

Valka's POV
I looked back to Corona as Cloudjumper flew away. Elinor and Fergus were with me, while the other leaders rode with the other dragon riders.
I walked over to where Elinor was cradling Fergus's dying body. He coughed and laughed.
"I'm going to kill that pompous brat!" he said weakly.
But then, he breathed out one last time.
Elinor started crying over his body.
"Valka!"
I looked to see Eret and Fishlegs fly over to me.
"Berk has been captured by trappers. We got most of the dragons out but some are still there."
I nodded. "We need to go somewhere safe."
"If we hurry, Dragon's Edge will be safe," Fishlegs said.
"Good. Lead us there, Fishlegs."

Frederic's POV
When we finally got to this Dragon Edge, there were already people there. People from all the other kingdoms. All of them on the run from this Zika and her people.
"What's happening?" One asked as we landed on the shore.
"I don't know," Valka said as she dismounted her dragon.
"Well, we have to do something," Elinor said. "My husband was just killed!"
"I know and I'm sorry. But we don't have the numbers." Arianna said.
"So, what are we going to do? Just stand here and do nothing?" Kristoff asked.
"No, we're going to fight!" I said as I climbed on a cart to stand above them.
"But how will we do that? Without the Six..." Valka started to say.
"The Big Six are gone. It's time for us to stand up and take their place. I know my daughter would not give up in this situation. I know the others wouldn't either. We must follow their example and fight. Now, who's with me?!"
It was silent.
"I am."
A woman in a cloak walked forward and stood before me. She removed her cloak to reveal the face of one of my daughter's old friends.
"Cassandra!"
She took off her cloak to reveal a baby dragon on her shoulders. It spread its wings and picked her up and she landed next to me.
"Look, I know you know what happened in the Dark Kingdom. But I can't stay on Wingmaiden Island and do nothing. I'm in."
Then a dragon rider on a silver dragon dismounted and walked over. She removed her hood to show a raven-haired girl with green eyes.
"I am Heather Berserker. I would be honored to fight by your side."
A loud laugh erupted from the crowd. A big Highlander walked forward.
"You're Majesty, I'm Ambassador Haggis McThorn of Dunbrock. I have contacts in the kingdoms, plus a few potential allies."
With that, everybody pitched in their support.
I drew my sword.
"On this day, we form the Kingsmen Resistance. In honor of the Big Six."
I thrust my sword into the air. Everyone cheered.
"Now, we have a war to fight. Let's move."
