Hello guys, I'm a new writer, so don't hesitate to leave any notes about the story or my writing style, spelling etc..

This story is about Lucy leaving her house at a young age and.. Just read the chapter and don't forget to tell me what your opinion is.

Let's start

"Dad... Dad!"

"look at what I have painted," said an excited 9 years old blond-haired girl who was wearing a blue beautiful dress to her father who was working in his office.

"Not now Lucy, you don't see that I'm busy" said her father coldly.

"but.."

"I SAID NOT NOW" her father shouted at her not caring about her feelings."GET OUT I'M BUSY"

After Lucy's mother death, she had been alone. her father only care is for business and collecting money not realising what he is doing for his daughter's feeling. Lucy had been attempting to get closer to her father trying to develop their relationship. she was even drawing a picture of her and him and when it was done, she ran to her father to show him the picture before he shouted at her.

"I HATE YOU, I HOPE YOU WERE THE ONE WHO DIED INSTEAD OF MOM" Lucy shouted back while crying from her father cruelness and running out of his office.

Lucy entered her room crying on her bed while holding the golden key to her chest that her mother gave to her before she died.

'mom, please tell me what should I do, I can't stay here anymore but I have no

idea where should I go' thought Lucy before hearing her room's door open revealing her father standing with a mad look on his face.

"Your earlier shouting at my office was so rude of you, as a result of your behaviour you will be locked in your room for two weeks," said her father before leaving her room.

With that Lucy had broken down crying out loud, after she calmed down she decided one thing 'I MUST LEAVE THIS HELL'

when the night came she took her key and sneaked out of the large house not knowing where to go, but any place will be better than her father's right?

She kept running and running with tears in her eyes for hours until her legs had stopped by for her own shock she realised that she had reached the forest...

it was so dangerously calm and dark. all you can see were the stars in the sky. she sat down against a large tree trying to find any sleep but no avail, how can a little girl sleep alone in a dark forest by herself. she was shaking from fear. she didn't know what to do 'mom...please help me'

She was still awake till the next morning, when she looked around her, she saw a lot of trees and plants everywhere, she didn't know where to go, so she decided to just walk in any direction.

she had been walking for three hours in the wilderness until she heard her stomach rumbling 'ahh..great I need to look for food'.

She failed to get any food, she doesn't know how to survive in the wilderness, then she heard a loud roar coming from behind when she looked at the source of the sound her legs felt like jelly, she saw a big brown bear coming towards her 'hhhh so I wasn't the only one who was looking for food after all at least I will see my mom again..' Lucy thought before closing her eyes waiting for her death.

"FINALLY I FOUND YOU STUPID DRAG...oh? just a bear?" said a little boy with pink spiky hair who came out of nowhere.

Then he realised the situation in front of him, THE BLOND GIRL.

"FIRE DRAGON'S DESTRUCTION FIST"

The bear got wiped out flying away towards the sky leaving the little girl in shock mixed with surprise.

"Hey, are you ok?" said the boy running towards the girl who was still on the ground.

"Y Yes, t thank you"

"So, what are you doing here alone? did you get lost?"

'I don't know him, should I tell him anything? he may hurt me but he saved me...' thought lucy before answering his question" yes I don't know where to go" said Lucy with a sad look on her face and looking to the ground.

"oh..i can help you to get back to your home, my name is Natsu Dragneel," said Natsu while smiling at her.

'go home? Are you crazy??!' thought lucy

"Thanks but I don't want to get home, oh sorry I forgot, my name is Lucy," said lucy looking at him with a small smile.

Natsu looked at her confused "Ha? how you are lost and you don't want to go home? are you sick or something?"

"No, it's a long story"

"wanna share it?"

"Sure..."

She told him everything while tears coming out of her eyes, told him about her past and how she suffered after her mother's death but she didn't tell him about the golden key yet afraid that he might take it from still not trusting him that much, she barely knows him.

Natsu looked at her in sadness" Sorry for hearing that, but what are you planning to do now?"

"I I don't know" she mumbled while looking at the ground and wiping out her tears.

Natsu looked at her before an idea popped in his head.

"I have an idea, my father is missing and I'm looking for him why you don't come with me till you get a plan for your future"

After she stopped crying she stood up and looked at him while thinking about what he had offered'Not a bad idea, I think I can stick with him for now until I find my own way'

"Ok then I will stay with you for a while," she said with a smile on her beautiful innocent face.

"Great let's go now, I have searched the forest's east let's look the other way" before he started to move he heard a slight noise coming from behind.

"Oh, um sorry I didn't eat anything from yesterday," said Lucy while her small cheeks got red from embarrassing.

Natsu chuckled at her while pulling out something from his red bag" here take this"

Natsu gave her some fruits and vegetables which he had collected from the forest.

Lucy's eyes got wide with stars in them. of course, a little girl can't hold her hunger for a long time and not to mention that she grew up in a rich family, but everything good can't be complete after all right?

she took the food from him and thanking him then they begun to walk.

"So, Natsu when was the last time you saw your father?"

"hmm..3 days maybe," said Natsu while walking with his hands behind his head.

"what does he look like? tall or short? thin or fat?" asked lucy trying to create an image of the man in her head so that if she saw him she can recognize him.

Natsu then looked at her with a smirk on his face waiting for her reaction.

"He is a Fire Dragon"

"EEEEEHHHH ARE YOU SERIOUS?! are they even exist? sorry but I think that you are the one who is in so sick this time" Lucy laughed at him not believing him.

Natsu looked at her with a bit of sadness on his face, of course, she will not believe then he stopped walking and looked at her seriously.

"Lucy, I'm gonna say this one time and you have the right to believe it or not, I was raised by a dragon his name was Igneel, he taught me a lost magic called Dragon Slayer Magic, the one I used earlier against the bear to save your sorry ass, he is the king of fire Dragons and I'm his foster son, and I'm gonna find him no matter what do you understand me?" Said Natsu with a harsh tone in his voice, how can she say that dragons don't exist???

Lucy looked at him surprised by the seriousness in his eyes.'i think that he is not joking'

" I'm sorry I didn't mean it, I'm just a little shocked by hearing that a dragon can take a boy to train him as his own child, please forgive me" said lucy hoping that he will not get mad her.

"It's ok I konw that you didn't mean it, it's hard for anyone to believe that anyway, a huge dragon raising a little boy it's crazy right?" said Natsu while chuckling a bit at his a comment before Lucy hugged him throwing her arms around his neck.

" No, I think that I believe you now, you can say that i know the person who is lying or telling the truth hehe my mother teached me a secret way to know" said Lucy smiIng while looking into his onyx green eyes.

"I'm happy that you are believing me" said Natsu smiling back at her while still holding the little girl between his arms.

she blushed when she had realised the situation they were in. she got back quickly.

"I I think we should keep going"

"Yes let's go"

They kept searching the whole day but ended with no avail untill the night fall upon them.

"I think we should call it a day, let's find a place to sleep" said Natsu trying to find a good place to spend the night.

" Natsu hold on I can barely see anything"

"come give me your hands, i have found a good place" he reached out his hands for her and she took it.

Natsu lead her to a large tree."let's sleep under this big one"

Natsu took off his bag and put it beside him and rest his body on the ground while Lucy did the same beside him.

"it's so cold" said Lucy shivering slightly.

"You can get closer to me if you want, my body is natural heater because of my magic" said Natsu trying to be a gentleman right?

Lucy blushed at the thought of sleeping this near from a boy but she had to or she will die from freezing. she got closer to him only a few inches between each other for Natsu to pull her more closer to be ended to be Lucy sleeping on top of him and her head on his chest.

"N Natsu?" said lucy blushing from embarrassing.

" I will not gonna eat you relax" said Natsu while looking at the sky above him.

"I I just didn't use to be this close from anyone except my mom"

"You loved your mom that much?"

"Of course, she loved me a lot, every night she hold me close to her and used to tell me a story till i sleep" said lucy smiling at the memory of her mother.

"she was a mage you know, she was a celestial mage and she taught me her magic before she died so that makes me a mage too," admitted Lucy

"She also gives me this key which makes me able to summon a special spirit of the zodiac spirits but when I use it, I lose a lot of magic so I think that I need more training on how to use it," said Lucy while showing Natsu the key. then she heard him giggling at her.

"I knew that you were a mage from the start and I saw the key either," Natsu said smirking at her.

"B But why you didn't tell me that you know?! and how did you know" said lucy raising her head from his chest looking at him.

"I can sense your magic and you seemed to be not trusting me so I just slide it out"

"buAAHHH NATSU WHAT IS THIS" Lucy screamed and held tight to Natsu when she felt something touch her foot.

"Hey, relax it was just a little cat and you made her run by your load scream"

"How can you see in the dark like this?" asked Lucy curious.

"being a dragon slayer gives you some features like seeing in the dark and high sense of smells too," said Natsu proud of his dragonic abilities.

"That's cool !" said Lucy amazed by the new information

"yeah now go to sleep, It was a long day for both of us" said Natsu before he started to yawn and holding Lucy tight to his chest unaware of his actions. it is just felt right to hold her like this

"Yeah, good night" said Lucy back enjoying being in his embrace like this. she didn't know why but she likes it

"Good night" said Natsu with a happy smile on his face.
