Chapter 1-The Return

The Teen Titans had lived relativley happy (I say relativley loosley). Betrayel, sadness,are some of the few hardships that they have had to face.

It was a normal day in T-Tower. Beast Boy and Cyborg were battling each other in a video game, Starfire and Robin were chatting casually, and Raven was reading a book. Even though no one was expected, the doorbell rang. "I'll get it" said Robin. Someone not believed to be alive showed up. "Guys, you gotta see this!" said the Boy Wonder.

"Friend Terra! You are alive!" said the extatic Tameranian while holding the girl firmly. "I know but you don't really have to do this!" said the out of breath Terra. "Nice to see you in one piece!" said Cyborg. "Wow. Great to have you back." said the Empath lacking much emotion. "I knew it was you!" said the green Changeling.

"As nice as it is to have you back Terra, you've got some explaining to do." said Robin.

"Right. So, long story short, I was living a lie." Said Terra. "I was 'adopted' by some foster parents who adjusted me to the real world. I was brought into a school and had to receive my basic education. After Beast Boy met with me at the school, I thought he was crazy. Soon enough, I slowly had my memory restored and I remembered my past." She said.

The sirens at titans tower suddenly went off. "Control freak." Said Robin. "Terra, stay behind. We don't know how good your powers are in your current state." "Let me stay with her!" Said Beast Boy. "No, youre coming with us." Said Robin. "Please?" pleaded Beast Boy. "No, we need all the help we can get." Ordered Robin. "Pretty Please?" begged Beast Boy warranting a giggle from Starfire. Robin gave in and said "Fine, jusf because Terras here." "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" said the green boy. "Star, Raven and Cyborg, lets get this criminal behind bars!" Said the leader. They left in seconds and Terra and Beast Boy were alone in the tower.

"I'm really glad to have you back." Said Beast Boy. "We all are. Minus Raven." "That girl never changes." Says Terra. "In all seriousness, I'm glad you guys still like me. After I tried to kill you all." She says. "Once a titan, always a titan" says beast boy. "I really missed you. You mean a lot to me. I care about you. We all do. When we say its good to have you back, we really mean it." Says Beast Boy. "It honestly feels good to having someone caring about you again. I didn't really have friends at my school. My parents didn't care too much about me. This is my only family. My real family." said Terra.

For a few minutes, the pair engaged in conversation about casual topics and played a few video games. They suddenly found their mouths only inches apart and embracing for a kiss. Moments before contact, the main door opened and Cybord yelled "WERE BA-" and the kiss was abruptly ended before even started. "What was going on here?!" Exclaimed Cyborg. "Nothin-" "Did BB find himself a lady friend while we were gone?!" Said cyborg as Terra and Beast Boys faces were beet red. "Y- you know I-I need to go to the bathroom" said Terra. Beast Boy also retreated to his room due to the embarrassment. "Well... we certainly missed... something." Said the leader. Raven was disgusted at the near kiss and Starfire was somewhat happy for them.

About an hour after the event Beast boy knonks on Terras rooms door. She answers. "Hey I'm really sorry about what almost happened earlier. Can we just... move on from it?" Says the green boy. "As embarrassing as...it was, Ill forgive you. " says Terra. He sighs in relief and they embrace in a hug.

Meanwhile, Robin ponders in his office room about something. How could she have forgotten all those memories and adventures. How?! Could there be some other intervention?! How did she forget?! Brainwashing?! SLADE?! No, thats a stretch. But Terra surviving is a stretch too. He couldnt shake this feeling so he escaped to the rooftop.

On the rooftop he found comfort relaxing and looking at the now setting sun. "It can't be. Can it?" "What cannot be friend Robin?" asks Starfire. "Nothing Star." Replies Robin. "Do you not trust me Robin? I was to believe you were my friend and we could trust each other." says Starfire. "I do trust you Starfire, its just, I cant shake the feeling that slade was involved." Confesses Robin. "Impossible! He was killed, yes?!" Says Starfire."I hope so." Replies Robin. They share a quick kiss then both leave the roof hand in hand.
