Chapter One: Introducing Chalsea Odinsdottir

Chalsea Odinsdottir was the younger sister of Thor and Loki and youngest daughter of Odin and Frigga. Unlike her brothers Chalsea was born with hair like fire and ever changing eye color. She was beloved by both her brothers but no one let her get away with more than Loki. Chalsea was the only one besides their mother that Loki would actually listen to. Just after Chalsea's 13th birthday she got her title of Goddess Of All, her power is unlimited.

She also had the power of sight and she would use that power to watch over Midgard. She fell in love with everything she would see so she ran to the throne room where her parents and brothers were. The guards open the doors as soon as they see the princess. "Mother, Father I must speak with you." She says coming to a stop at the bottom of the step to the throne.

"Yes, what is it my dear daughter?" Odin says motioning her to come closer. She walks up the steps and stands in front of her father. "As you know I'm 13 now and I would like to go and visit Midgard to learn more about their culture. If you're worried about my safety because of my appearance I can cast a spell to alter it to look more like someone from there. Please let me go father." She begs her parents.

Odin and Frigga look to each other and talk quietly before Frigga nods gently once. "Alright, you can go but under the conditions that you take your brothers with you and you change your appearance." Odin tells her and the rules she must follow. She squeals excitedly and jumps into her father's arms "Thank you father and I promise I will follow the rules." She says to both of her parents.

Odin and Frigga laugh fondly as Chalsea runs off to her room. Thor and Loki step up to the steps and look up at their parents. "Your really going to let her go to Midgard?" Thor questions. "We are, she is the same age as you were when you went to Midgard to learn. She will be just fine. You both will be going with her but don't follow her stay at the house you will be staying in for the time you are there. Let her explore and enjoy the experience of her first trip away from home." Frigga tells the two of them.

"Yes of course mother. Come Thor we must prepare for our trip with our dear little sister." Loki says first looking at Odin and Frigga before turning and pulling Thor from the throne room. Once they are in the corridor for their rooms Thor pulls Loki to a stop "You agree with this? Do you think she is ready for this?" Thor says quietly. "Brother, Chalsea is not a little girl anymore. She is growing up and becoming a woman. We can't keep her from going off on her own forever." Loki reasons with his older brother. "Your right, we can't keep her locked up here forever." Thor sighs.

Loki pats him on the shoulder and goes into his room leaving Thor his thoughts. The siblings quickly prepare for the trip and meet with their parents down at the entrance to the Bifrost.

Chalsea hugs her parents one last time before joining Thor and Loki over by the Bifrost to take them to Midgard. They wave bye to their parents before they are surrounded by the lights of the rainbow bridge. Chalsea looks all around in awe at all the bright flashing colors of the Bifrost.

Thor and Loki laugh at the look on her face and when they land in the house they will be staying in Chalsea glares at them both.

"I wouldn't laugh father told me you both did the same thing as me your first time traveling the bifrost." She says to the both of them and they quickly stop laughing. She smirks at them both "Sorry little sister." They both say quietly.

"Now I'm going to change our appearance to make us look like we belong here. So sorry boys your hair is gonna look short while we are outside with the Midgardians. We will only look like ourselves when we are here in our temporary home." She tells them while raising her hands at her side to begin the spell when she is interrupted

"Do you really need to do that little sister? Father told us that we would be staying in the house and to let you explore on your own." Thor explains.

Chalsea bites her lip and tilts her head off to the side. "Huh alright. Suit yourselves I just know it's because you don;t want short hair. Now I'm going to go and look around the city and you two can stay here and set up the house and our bedrooms." She tells her brothers before changing her look to one with red hair and brown eyes with the proper clothing for the time period.

She gives a little twirl before looking at her older brothers "So do I look like a proper Midgardian?" She asks them "You look lovely little sister. Doesn't she look lovely Thor?" Loki says to her before looking at Thor. "Of course little sister although it is very strange to see you like this." Thor says while looking at her hair and eyes. "I will only look like this to the Midgardians Thor. I won't look like this all the time. I happen to like my natural hair and eyes, thank you." She with a soft bell like laugh.

"We know little sister. Now don't stay out too late. Be back before it gets too dark out." Loki tells her gently. "I will be back before dinner." She tells them as she hugs them both before they walk her to the door. She walks down the porch steps and looks back over her shoulder and sends them a smile and a wave before walking off down the sidewalk. The two of them go back inside once they can no longer see her and set up the house for their stay.

Chalsea walks around the city that she has now learned is called Brooklynn. She looks around at all the things that she grew to love through her sight. She walks into what looks to be an ice cream shop and orders a small vanilla cone. She pays the salesman and offers him a smile before leaving the shop. She continues on her adventure around the city while eating her ice walks by the school where she sees a bunch of kids her age leaving and laughing with their friends.

She comes across a little park with swings and slides so she decides to stop for a little while and swing on the swing set. She stays at the park for an hour before she leaves. She goes back to walking around the city. She is enjoying her walk until she comes across an alleyway where she hears a small groan in pain.

Curiously she walks closer to the alley and taking a look inside she sees a group of boys beating up on a boy no older than herself. Being the daughter of a king and a warrior she charges into the alley. "HEY! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She yells running up and trying to pull them away from the boy on the ground. The group of boys look at her and laugh. Then what appears to be the leader steps up to her and twirls a strand of her hair.

"Now Dollface, what's a pretty thing like yourself doing in a place like this and helping a little punk like him for." The older boy asks. Chalsea scuffs and slaps his hand away "Well Dollface, where I come from you don't beat on someone smaller than you and you don't do it in a group." She says glaring up at the boy.

"Feisty little thing aren't you?" Another one of the boys speaks up. "Leave her alone." The boy on the ground says while trying to stand up and away from the wall. One of the boys from the group punches him and pushes him back to the ground. "Just stay down Rogers." The same boy says in a snarl.

Chalsea not liking the way the bot is talking to him clenches her hands into fists and halls off and punches the boy in the nose. The boy groans in pain with his nose gushing blood. His friends look between Chalsea and their friend in shock before turning back to her and the leader smacks her across the face knocking her down next to the boy.

She holds her cheek in her hand and she goes to get up before a voice at the entrance of the alley speaks up "That's no way to treat a lady." the group of boys turn around quickly to see a boy with dark hair and blue eyes.

"Get out of here Barnes. This isn't any of your business. "The leader says. "You see this is my business. That is my best friend you're beating up and that is also a lady you just slapped." Barnes says stepping closer to the group.

He looks around the group at her and the boy "You alright there Stevie?" He asks the small boy "I'm alright Buck." He says to his friend. "Why don't you take the lady away from her Stevie. I'll be right behind you two." Buck says.

Stevie nods before standing and holding his hand out to her she gives him a small smile taking his hand. He helps her up off the ground and holds her hand as they begin to walk away from the group of boys.

Once out of the alley they wait down the street for Buck; he joins them a little while later. He tells them to keep walking until they are away from the alley and the group of boys. They walk back to the park Chalsea was at a while ago and sit on the benches.
