I was writing this(kinda) story a few years ago on a different account. I fell off of it cause something wasn't right. I think I figured it out! Round 2 on this, let's go!

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Most universes or timelines, whether slightly or greatly, differ in some shape or form. This universe is no different.

7 months had passed since the son of Goku, Gohan, was able to defeat Cell. Everything that happened in the original universe happened here with one minor difference; Goku lived.

Flashback

The so called perfect warrior knew he was done for and was desperate to win so he launched his most powerful Kamahameha at Gohan in hopes of taking him and everyone on Earth out.

"I'm going to blow up the Earth and there's nothing you can do about it!"

The young Super Saiyan stood there motionless as Cell's attacked came down at him.

"Ka-"

The ground shook as the attacked approached Gohan.

"Me-"

The Z Warriors watched at would could possibly be the end of them.

"HA!" Gohan released his Kamahameha and effortlessly pushed Cell's attacked back to him.

Everyone including Goku were shocked to see just how powerful Gohan really was. Goku had known he was much stronger than he seemed but even this was a surprise to him. Gohan looked as the smoked cleared and revealed what was left of Cell. He was missing an arm and leg, his body shattered in different areas and was bleeding more than anyone had ever seen him.

"You little runt! I'm the perfect warrior! The perfect machine! The perfect being! I AM PERFECTION!" Cell yelled as he tried to think of a way to beat the half Saiyan. Gohan smiled knowing that Cell was desperate and was getting everything he deserved.

"Gohan! Finish him now! He's weak and vulnerable! Don't give him a chance to regenerate!" Goku said hopping that this would mean the end of Dr. Gero's nightmare.

"Finish him? No, he deserve to feel everything all those innocent people felt! All the pain that he has cause, all the lives he has destroyed and taken. No, finishing him off now would be too easy for him. He doesn't stand a chance against me and I'm prepared to make him suffer for everything that he has done." Gohan replied with an arrogant smile.

Goku stood there shocked. The words that were coming out of his son's mouth were something that he would hear from Vegeta. Goku needed to shake his back to reality.

"Gohan if you don't finish this now there is a chance that Cell can find a way out of this! And if he does he will kill us all! Andriod 16 didn't sacrifice himself so Cell could win!"

"16 told me to fight to protect my world and family, that's what I'm doing!" Gohan yelled back. "Like i said, he doesn't stand a chance against me. I'm stronger than him by a long shot." Gohan smiled, his arrogant getting the best of him.

"Gohan! Think of your mom! Think about everyone who isn't stronger than him, who can't defend themselves!

With that last plea, Goku was able to bring back the son he knew. Gohan looked at his father, knowing he had been right about everything. This needed to end here and now.

"I'm sorry dad. I don't know what came over me but-" Gohan got serious as he got in a stance ready to fire up one last Kamehameha. "this ends now!" His yellow aura fired up with electricity surrounding him.

"KA-"

Cell knew right away that he had no way to defend himself here

"ME-"

"No please! Spare me and I'll leave and never come back!" Cell try to plead his way out of certain death.

HA!"

"Noo!" Gohan fired his strongest Kamehameha to end the nightmare. Cell put up his only hand as he was engulfed by the massive blast. Gohan's attack took Cell to space straight towards the sun, making sure he would not regenerate.

A few moments passed before Gohan finally went back to base form.

"He did it!" Piccolo said, stunned as the rest of the Z Warriors

"Cell is actually gone." Vegeta said still not believing that the son of his rival had defeated him.

They all went towards Gohan to congratulate him on job well done.

"You did it son. I'm proud of you." Goku said putting his hand on his son's shoulder and smiling at him.

The Z Warriors went to the Look Out and used the Dragonballs to revive the people who died at the hands of Dr. Gero's creations. This included the revival of Androids 17 and 18. Krillin use the second wish to get rid of the bombs inside of them. Trunks went back to his time and defeated 17, 18, and eventually Cell.

End of Flashback

Trunks had returned to the past to tell everyone that he had finally saved his timeline and ended the nightmare of Gero. After a month of being there and even competing in Hercule's tournament, Trunks was preparing to leave. Everyone showed up to say their final goodbye to the boy from the future.

"Well I'm really going to miss you guys buy it's time I finally stay in my own timeline. Thank you for everything. I'll never forget you guys." Trunks said climbing inside the time machine. Goku, Vegeta and Gohan approached him to say their last goodbye

"Take care Trunks. You have become a great warrior and someone the people of your time can look up to." Goku said smiling at him.

"Thank you Trunks. Without you, none of us would be here. And I'm sure my future counterpart is proud of you." Gohan said.

Trunks smiled at both them, appreciating everything they said. He looked over at his dad hoping for some words from him.

"Take care of your mother." Vegeta said. Trunks simply responded with a nod.

"Alright everyone hands up!" Everyone turned to see a ground of men wearing military clothing armed with weapons.

"Uhmm who are you guys and is this really happening?" Krillin asked amused and confused.

"We are here for two things! Take the riches of the Brief's family and get revenge!" Said a man who appeared to be the leader.

"Revenge for what?" Trunks asked, jumping off his time machine.

"For killing our saviors; Dr. Gero and Cell! We are all that's left of the Red Ribbon Army! Now prepare to die!"

Something about their eyes bugged Gohan.

'They, they don't seem in control.'

Before anyone could respond Android 18 appeared.

"All of you guys stay out of this! These guys are mine!" She quickly attacked them, elbowing the leader in the stomach and then attacking the rest of them. One of them shot at her. The gun managed to stunned her for a bit but she continued to make quick work of them.

Before she knew it, all of them were down except for one. He was holding what appeared to be a launcher of sort. As she rushed him, he shot his gun. Not aiming it, the projectile went straight towards the time machine.

"NO!" Yelled Trunks

BOOM!

The time machine exploded and a vortex opened up quickly sucking in Goku, Vegeta and Android 18. Gohan and Trunks were able to move away quick enough to prevent anyone else from going in. As everyone got to safety Gohan and Trunks went to inspect the vortex up close with cautions.

"What just happened" Gohan asked confused

"I don't know but maybe we should stay back in case it starts sucking in anyone else." As soon as Trunks said that, the vortex twitched and energy beams got a hold of both the young half Saiyans and pulled them in. As they were quickly taken in and energy source shot out from the vortex going through everyone, seemingly having no affect on anyone.

This energy source went throughout the whole Earth and continued going. Passing through every living being as well as the known and unknown reaches of this universe.

Alright so the story is under the name The Vortex. The first chapter is pretty much the same with some minor changes but everything from chapter 2 and on will be different.

I might got some hate for how I take the story so be prepared for things to get weird in this crossover universe!
