It was a lovely morning and a gorgeous brunette was standing on the roof of Hyrule Castle. Her hair was neatly braided with an ornamental clip holding it in place. This is Princess Zelda, the heir to the throne of Hyrule and all of its riches.
Despite being beautiful and heir to the throne, Zelda was very sad. She would come to the roof every morning and stare out as though waiting for something.
"Where oh where is my Prince Charming! Am I doomed to grow old and never find love?!" Zelda cried out.
She could see him in her dreams; the most gorgeous man ever. A tall man with glittering golden locks that trail down to his shoulders almost. His eyes would be a piercing blue, full of love and a desire to protect Zelda. It was almost as though she had met him before, that's how vivid the dreams were.
As Zelda stood daydreaming on the roof, a shout came from below.
"HELLLOOOOOOOOO!" the voice called.
Zelda peered over the edge of the roof. Standing below was a tall muscular man. Oh, but it was not the one she had dreamt of. All it was was that pesky old Groose!
"Oh, hello, Groose..." Zelda grumbled.
"Dearest Princess! I have come, yet again, to ask that you marry me!" Groose called out.
Next to Groose was his little buddy, Cawlin. Cawlin would go everywhere that Groose went and did everything he could to find favor. Zelda glared unappreciatively at Groose.
The windows to many houses nearby opened and other young women appeared at them, staring at Groose. As it turns out, Groose was super popular with the girls. He never paid any attention to them as he always sought to marry the princess.
"Go away, Groose! I do not like you! You are not handsome at all!" Zelda yelled.
After that, she kicked over a bucket of water and it fell, soaking both Groose and Cawlin. Zelda stormed away back into her castle.
"ARGH! DARN PRINCESS! I KNOW YOU SECRETLY LOVE ME! I WILL MARRY YOU ONE DAY AND YOU CANNOT STOP ME!" Groose yelled.
With that, Groose turned and left. Cawlin, who had a bucket on his head, tried to follow Groose, but tripped and fell.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Cawlin cried out.
Groose was not about to give up, he would chase after Zelda to his dying breath if he had to!
