Chapter One

The Visitor

Percy and Paul walked down the hall to there apartment silently. They were both tired and jet lagged after there flight from California, attending Annabeths funeral. Her death had hit Percy hard, and even if he tried to look on the bright side and positives of the events he felt empty inside. He didn't care that the monsters couldn't return to the world with the doors of Tarturas closed, even if he did really care that his mother was close to giving birth to his sister he was worried. How would his sister react to Percy's night terrors, him screaming about Tarturas as the events had scarred him.

He couldn't even go back to Camp Half Blood the one place that he felt was actually his home. Not with everyone giving him looks of pity because of his trauma. He hated the pity that was given to him, he hated how everyone acted like they were sorry for him when they really didn't care about him.

He did try to be thankful for what he had, a caring mother, Paul was becoming an actual father figure in his life, and soon he'd have a little sister that he would know wouldn't have any role in any mythical wars or prophesies. She would be normal, and Percy felt peace that her life would be easier and that his mother wouldn't have to marry another oaf for cover up a demigod stench.

As they neared there door Paul stopped suddenly and placed his hand on Percy's shoulder and sent him a small smile.

"If you need anyone to talk to or anything at all," Paul began, "You can talk to me. I'm here for you Percy, and it doesn't have to be today it doesn't even have to be till years from now. Just know I'm here for you whenever."

"Thanks Paul," Percy remarked sending a small smile his way. Paul nodded and started to search for the apartment key on his key ring when there was a sudden scream from within the apartment. Percy and Paul gave eachother a look and Paul shuffled through his keys faster.

"Mom! Mom are you okay?" Percy cried out worrying that she was in trouble.

"Oh God if she's having the baby," Paul murmered to himself as he finally shoved the key into the key hole and threw the door open and the two of them rushed into the apartment leaving there luggage in the hall.

"Sally dear are you okay? I heard you scream?" Paul cried out as they rushed through the front hall before turning the corner. What Percy saw made him freeze in his tracks and his eyes widen in horror. Standing in the living room was a tall man wearing a long black cloak, his skin pale, his eyes slits with little red beads for eyes. His nose was not existent his face smooth, taking on a very snake like appearance. In his hand was what looked like a very smooth white stick pointed down at his mother who was breathing heavily.

"Ah grandson," the man said his voice raspy, "How nice of you to join us."

"You stay away from her!" Paul suddenly shouted pulling out a similar smooth dark brown stick from his own pocket and throwing it towards the man. Percy, confused on what was happening grabbed Riptide from his pocket and uncapped the sword glaring at the man.

"Okay baldy step away from my mother," Percy spat, "And drop the albino stick!"

"Percy run!" His mother cried out, but the man shook his head and shushed his daughter.

"Now is this anyway to treat family?" The man asked shaking his head his wand still pointed at Percy's mom.

"Says the man who has his wand pointed at his daughters head!" Sally snapped. Percy glanced at the man in horror as he connected the peices together.

"I don't want to hurt any of you," the man said as he removed the wand from Sally's neck, "I've come here to reunite with my daughter and her son, to ask you to join me."

"We'd never join you Riddle!" Paul snapped angrily suddenly stepping in front of Percy, "You stay away from him!" Percy rose an eyebrow at the act but still held his sword up looking around for anything that could help him. The mans face fell slightly and he shook his head in annoyance.

"He doesn't know about his true lineage does he," Riddle said shaking his head clearly frustrated, "No matter, I can feel the power flowing through his veins. My Power My blood."

"Go fuck yourself Tom," Paul spat before screaming, "Stupify!" A burst of light exploded from Paul's wand and over towards Riddle who simply deflected the light, and the blast then flew out the window. Rain, and wind came flowing into the apartment as it was on the thirteenth floor.

"You fool," Riddle snarled, "I am LORD VOLDEMORT You dare defy me!"

"Percy run!" Paul exclaimed still standing in front of him.

"EXPELLIARMIS!" Percy heard his mother cry out and his eyes widened even further to see his mother shooting a blast towards Riddle. Once again the blast was deflected, slamming into Paul, his wand flying out of his hands. Percy didn't have time to act at what happened next as he saw the Dark Lord furious raise his wand at Paul who stood protectively in front of Percy.

"NO!" Sally cried out.

"AVADA KADVRA!" The man roared and Percy saw a bright green light suddenly fly out towards Paul. Acting off instinct Percy threw Paul out of the way and raised his sword towards the blast. Shockingly the blade deflected the blow and the green blast slammed into the sink, water began to spew everywhere around the apartment along with the rain fall from the window.

The man and Percy didn't say anything, they just stared at eachother for a moment before Percy felt a similar tug in his gut and he rushed forwards. He could head his mother screaming no, but as the water around flew to Percy's aid as he leapt in the air in attack. The man muttered a word he did not hear and suddenly Riptide was thrown from his grasp and Percy slammed into the man with water.

They flew through the room slamming into cabinets and counter tops, and Percy dodged another blast before sending a kick to the mans face. He leapt onto the counter and rolled off it and quickly picked his sword up off the ground. He saw Paul and his mother together and safe for now.

"You stupid boy," Riddle snarled.

"I get that a lot," Percy murmured for a second

Before blast after blast were sent flying across the room and Percy deflected them with his sword or either water. A great whole had grown In the wall and Percy was vagualy aware he was being backed towards the hole, risking a thirteen story drop. The next blast Percy narrowing blocked, and Riptide flew out of his hands as the blast crashed into the ceiling. Percy's eyes widened as he saw the roof start to cave in, losing his balance he slipped began to fall.

Reaching out for anything his fingers gripped onto the ledge and Percy slammed into the wall of the building grimacing. His arm felt like it was being pulled out of its socket as he stared down at the street fearfully. He heard more shouting and blast come from the room for a few more minutes until all Percy could hear was the busy New York traffic down below.

"You're a fool Perseus," a voice rang out in Percy's head, "You will join me grandson. One way or another, if you ever want to see your mother again, or baby sister. You will find me and join willingly."

Percy grimaced as the voice shot through his head, and visions flashed through his mind. Where he saw a dark doorway, shiny black brick before the vision shot inside of the room. Countless amounts of orbs with fog twirling around inside it. Before he knew it he was staring at two orbs side by side, Perseus J. Riddle and Harry J. Potter.

When his visions returned to normal Percy could hear people screaming from the street below. He felt a stings on pain in his side and glanced to see blood starting to coat his shirt. Grimacing Percy tried to pull himself up but the ledge began to give way as he did so. His grip on the wet and sharp ledge was slipping, and as he looked down at the street once again he noticed it wasn't a street. An endless hole of darkness with a small light of fire in the distance is all he saw.

"As long as we're together," Percy murmured as his vision flickered black, "As long as we're together."

"You know who, has her Severus," a deep voice murmured, "He found her and the boy."

"Are you certain?"

"Yes, the bit narrowly escaped. But the others were not so fortunate I'm afraid."

"You must protect him," A female voice whispered, "If he's found by the wrong people he will be used as a weapon against us."

"I agree, The poor boy needs our help and our guidance."

"The boy has been through so much already, are we sure he should be involved Albus?" Serverus asked.

"Hectate has made it so," Albus responded, "He is the True Heir of Slytherin. We can not let the Dark Lord find him again. No one must know the truth."

"Demigod blood and magical blood... has it ever been seen before?" The female asked once again.

"It is rare, but as I said before Hectate made it so. I never believed I would see it in my life time, he is in grave danger, we must find him now."

Percy stared at the darkness around him confused and worried that he was free falling down into the pit once more.

"Perseus," a warm female voice called out to him, "All is okay. This is the path you must take."

"What path?" Percy asked, "Whose there."

"I cannot tell you, but I can give."

"Give what?" Percy asked. There was a whisper and suddenly Percy found himself glowing slightly, he gasped as his mind was suddenly filled with visions. It seemed as if he we're watching them for hours upon hours as men and women screamed random things and blast came out from sticks. He soon learned what was happening, it was magic. The voice began to speak to him once more, telling him all the spells and what they did, over and over until they were embedded into his mind. Until the voice was certain Percy could cast each spell with ease and regularity.

"Give me your Sword Perseus," the warm voice once again spoke after a moment of silence. Hesitantly Percy reached into his pocket and pulled out Riptide. There was a sudden blast of light and Percy watched in shock as he watched his trusty pen now be replaced into a shiny object, "For the time being Riptide will be kept safe for you Perseus, until the time comes. Until now, use this as your defense young hero."

"What is it?" Percy asked staring at the dark brown object, that had bronze trimming spiraling down the dark brown wood, the hilt itself was bronze. It stretched out eleven inches, and felt very comfortable in his hands, giving him a warm feeling inside as his swished it slightly.

"It is your wand Perseus," The warm voice informed him, "Your sword will be returned to kill the darkness. This was created by Hephaestus himself for you my dear demigod. It is a very power weapon its equal only being the elder wand. Only a demigod has the power to wield it, or it shall kill the imposer."

"Thank you?"

"Your path is dangerous Perseus Riddle," the voice spoke to him once more, "You must control the darkness inside you, but not ignore the power you are given. A son of the big three, and mother a witch a decedent from a powerful, yet evil man."

"I'm not evil!" Percy snapped.

"No, you are not. Your fatal flaw will be you saving grace but yet also your downfall Perseus. Your blood alone makes you dangerous, and powerful. Be wise on who you align yourself with my dear boy, many will hate you for your grandfather."

"Why?" Percy asked.

"It has been spoken by me, the first demigod wizard shall be the heir of Slytherin. The Dark Lord will not stop seeking you Perseus, you are his greatest weapon."

"How can i stop him?" Percy asked urgently, "How can I save my mother?"

"The son of the sea

Shall be the key

To bring lightness or despair

With one final move

With nothing else to lose

To break his fatal flaw

Will be the end of us all

And with one final wish

He will either kill or save

The boy who lived."

"A prophesy? really?" Percy groaned.

"Now, I will leave you to train, you will not awake until you are ready." The voice left and Percy stared at the wand in his hand. He sighed and aimed into the darkness and yelled.

"Stupefy!"

When Percy opened his eyes he jolted awake as he remembered the events that just took place. Breathing heavily he took in his surroundings to see he was in an unfamiliar room, and two men were whispering to themselves. One was tall and wearing long robes, he had long white hair with a beard to match. While the other had long curly hair, with a smaller beard in place. He had on regular clothes and was a few inches shorter then the elder man.

Wanting to not make a scene Percy attempted to sneak out of the bed he was lying in only to find out he had been attached to it with a pair of handcuffs. Suddenly alarmed Percy began to pull at the chains but it was no use, they didn't even budge.

"Ah I see you're up." Percy's eyes shot towards the men to see the elder of the two approaching him. Percy blinked twice before realizing the man was speaking to him in an English accent.

"I have to go," Percy exclaimed suddenly as events flooded through his brain, "My mom, my step dad! I have to save them."

"Perseus," the man said calmly, "You did your best son. But, The Dark Lord has taken your mother... and your step father I'm so sorry Perseus."

"No! No that can't... NO" Percy exclaimed anger boiling up in his core. The walls began to shake and suddenly he broke out of his chains. The water cup next to him on a table shattered and the water burst out, pipes in the walls snapped causing water to explode from the walls and ceiling filling the room. Throwing the two men backwards and onto the rose from the bed and shot towards the door, in an escape attempt. The younger man rose to stop him, but with a flick of his risk water shot up and slammed him into a wall. He saw the older man began to rise as well and with our even thinking Percy forced the water to entrap the man as he glared at them all.

"This is just a trick!" Percy roared, "I'm back aren't I?"

"What the hell are you talking about boy?!" The younger man exclaimed.

"I'm back in the pit aren't I?" Percy exclaimed, "Whatever you monsters are I'm not interested!" He then pulled Riptide from his pocket and went to uncap the pen only for him to realize his sword was no longer a pen, nor a sword. In his hands was a dark brown wand, with a bronze trim spiraling down it, however the hilt was completely bronze. He stared at it for a moment confused losing his control over the men.

"What. In. The. Hades. Did. You. Do. To. My. SWORD!" Percy roared looking at the two men.

"We found you like this Perseus," The elder man stated, "We haven't changed anything. We only want to help you."

"Help me how?" Percy asked.

"Well, to get your mother back of course."

"And who are you?" Percy asked.

"I'm Albus Dumbledore, and this is my friend Sirus Black."

Percy stared at the two men and then back at his wand, shocked at what was happening.

"He, he took them. He said I had to join him to get them back," Percy murmured, "What does he want to do with me."

"Perseus... you are The Dark Lords Grandson. We hid your mother many years when she came to us out of fear. He had been gone for some time but he has returned and is re creating his army... you are his most valued want at the moment."

"And why is that?"

"There's a prophesy... that states the first demigod wizard is the key. We don't know the whole prophesy as only the one whose its meant can reveal its truth. Unless of course you were there when it was spoken."

"And what does this prophesy say?"

"It was over two hundred years ago," Sirius stated, "But...,"

"The son of the sea," Dumbledore spoke, "Is the first line."

"Bullshit," Percy murmured until fragments of his dream started to come back to him. He blinked a few times before his breathing quickened.

"Perseus?" Albus asked worriedly. Percy felt his knees start to buckle before he slid down against a wall and stared blankly at the ceiling. He had been in his dream for years, only to wake up and find it wasn't a dream but yet a vision. All the spells and the warm voice came flooding back to him as the two elder wizards stared down at him in worry.

"Not another great prophesy!" Percy cried out.
