Life is, for the most part, pretty straightforward, or at least as much as being on the run can be. Most people would not enjoy that kind of lifestyle, and Himiko Toga is no exception. Although she wishes she were able to prove that she was innocent, her previous associations make her a wanted criminal. Nobody in their right mind would dare to give the only remaining free member of the League of Villains a chance.
A slight pain currently tugs at the tail end of Toga's back, threatening to diminish whatever hope she has for a peaceful night of sleep. She knows she has no hope of sleeping in a real bed anytime soon, so she would have to make do with a rugged bag of trash. All she had ever wanted was a chance to feel wanted, and look where that had gotten her. As if things couldn't get any worse, Toga had connections to the most infamous group of villains in all of Japan. They were some of the only people to make her feel wanted, but with none of them around anymore, she had nobody. She often ponders if they would want her now. She had hated everything that had made her fit in with the League of Villains in the first place, even her quirk. Toga shouldn't want to be a hero because of her demonic quirk, but the thought of becoming one was reason enough for her to strive on and keep a positive persona
There isn't much that Toga enjoys in life besides herself; she is the only person that she can talk to openly. That lack of social interaction drives her crazy at times, she often passes the time she spends in isolation by talking to herself, especially at night in an attempt to distract her from her loneliness.
"How are things going?"
A very brief pause.
"Ah, how silly, I already know the answer to that. I'm doing great!"
Silence.
As great as being homeless can be… A genuine laugh breaks the silence.
"I love being homeless! Why would I want to be anything else? I'm free, for the first time in my life!"
Another pause, opening up the door for silence to fill in once again.
"Who am I kidding? I'm Himiko Toga! I wouldn't change a thing!"
Yet another pause, but this one struck as if it were the final chord in a bittersweet ending to a song, lingering with a mild vibrato.
Stop lying to yourself…
"It's the truth! Look! I'm laughing!" Toga begins to laugh, but she doesn't feel anything from the motion. The silence doesn't leave, even with sound attempting to force the silence to diminish . Before it grows too loud, the laughter fades into nothingness, before the silence begins to consume her whole.
"Laughing fixes everything…" Toga pauses to catch her breath.
"Right?" As if Toga is trying to convince herself, she puts on a smile, although she doesn't feel any immediate result.
"Right?" Toga's smile fades away, which results in a tear racing down her face.
"I'm too cute to cry..." Toga puckers cheeks, as if to emphasize her point.
"Why? Why does it have to be me?" The question produces more tears.
Your damn parents, obviously… If they didn't throw me out like I was nothing, then I would have no ties with the League. Oh boy, that would be nice, wouldn't it?
NO! DON'T THINK OF THEM!
"Oh well, better to be honest, right?"
You hate them. The tears continue to flow.
"Having parents that care sounds nice, right?"
Yup!
"Oh well, it is what it is!"
Yeah, let's leave it at that…
The conversation ends on a very morbid note. Toga's parents are nothing but a dull memory hidden deep in her mind, which she has no intent to let resurface. The thought of her parents threatens to open up a lifelong wound that had been festering for years, but Toga ignores it.
For Christ's sake, be more positive, ya cute dork! In a followup motion, Toga begins to smile heavily, which exposes her sharp canines. With the forced smile, her usual blush also grows a little. As the smile continues to grow slowly, her catlike eyes begin to slit, which obstructs her vision. Thankfully for her, the dopamine that filled her mind slowly brings back her positive mood. Even if her smile wasn't real, the facade that the smile put up was enough for her.
One thing Toga was thankful for, though, was her current support. To test the toughness of the bag behind her, she pushes her back into the trash bag, releasing a relaxed hum. Although the bag of waste reeked, she wasn't much better, and being hidden in an alleyway wasn't going to help the stench. On the flipside, an abandoned alleyway wasn't the worst place to keep from the public.
It doesn't take long for pain to shoot back into Toga's lower back, which causes a small groan to escape. Sighing in discontent, Toga stands back up, then grabs the hilt of the trash bag she was relying on with a little too much force, threatening to break it open. The thought of breaking her best option for sleep causes her to yelp and drop the bag. Much to her pleasure, the bag landed perfectly on her side, which permitted her to lay back again. She releases a sigh of comfort as her back begins as the added support grants her sweet, sweet relief.
With her newfound comfort, Toga reels her arms backwards, tenderly undoing the side buns she often does when alone. She purrs slightly when her hair falls to her side, with countless strands stuck together due to all of the collected grime. As she slowly threads her matted hair through her fingers, she begins to talk to herself again, but her topics change faster due to her tiredness.
...Yeah, I'm Himiko Toga…
"Oh, really? I love her as well"
You know what I don't love? My parents.
"Oh, well, moving on…"
Ooh! I agree, let's move on...
"Ah, sleep sounds lovely…"
That's for sure...
"Oh, a cute guy with a lot of tasty blood also sounds lovely! And tasty…" Toga smiles a little at the mention of blood, before coming to her senses.
NO! NO! NOT AT ALL! NEXT!
"Sleep…"
Stars…
Yeah, stars…
In even the worst of times, the biggest constant for Toga was the sky. It brings her home, and makes her feel like she wasn't alone. She often wonders if someone else was looking at the same sky, hoping for the same things she was. A slight smile captures her face as her eyes travel upwards in a sluggish motion toward the night sky. As if she were grabbing the stars, she reaches out with her arms with what little strength she has left. Toga balls her right fist inward in a rather awkward motion, pointing her thumb out while her smile grows exponentially. The motion alone causes her to laugh a little; high pitched shrieks penetrate the resting air around her.
After a weak clearing of her throat, Toga begins to open her mouth, as if to pretend she were speaking as her idol. Before she can, though, exhaustion catches up to her. A slight sigh escapes her mouth as her arms unceremoniously drop back to her side. In perfect unison with her previous movements, sleep captures her soul, freeing it into a sleepless slumber.
Who leaves the alleyway the following morning is 24-year-old Bonsai Ibuki, the form Toga has been using ever since escaping from the police a few months prior. The transformations left her shaking violently for a little, but she couldn't help it. The searing heat that overtakes her during the start of a transformation, as well as the intense cold at the end always causes Toga to shake. Her steps are slightly disoriented from her shaking, which isn't helped by her tall frame. After overstepping slightly, her mind goes into a sudden overdrive, which causes her to look around frantically as if in danger. To calm herself, Toga looks down at her masculine figure, appearing at peace when she sees her business attire and tall figure.
Toga repeats reassuring words to herself to calm herself down, but is surprised at the slight rumble of her deep voice. "Hey, it's not cute to be scared, silly!"
Ah, the voice gets me every time! I love my voice; I dunno how guys live with such unfriendly voices… The thought makes her laugh, surprising herself again with the minute growl and the rumble in her throat.
Dumbass, you should have expected that...
The slight tingle in her hair from the wind makes her itch to clean up her hair, before realizing that she wasn't herself. Although, it was reassuring to know she was in no immediate danger, she missed being herself already, even if it has only been a few minutes since she transformed. With that thought, Toga streaks her right hand through her curly black hair to calm down her present nerves, thankful for the simplicity of the spiky form.
She was in a constant state of anxiety, even after evading capture for a few months. Even the smallest things set her off, causing her brain to shoot in many directions at once. She couldn't help it; it was natural for her to be on edge. She often saw bounties for capturing her, which didn't help her feel any better. The police didn't scare her as much as pro heroes did, as she knew she could take down police with ease. Pro heroes, on the other hand, would put up a tougher fight. She also understood herself to know she didn't have it in her to fight the exact thing she dreamed to be. Taking refuge in Mustafa was smart; she earned an influx of easy food from alleyways and the very rare dosage of blood from crime scenes. It was impossible to be completely safe from villains, but Musutafu was a relatively safe community, because of all the heroes keeping things calm for the most part.
After calming herself down, Toga begins to hum silently to herself. She treads the streets, enjoying the sounds of people speaking and nearby music that fills her ears. She notes the small amount of distance everyone keeps from her, which she assumes is due to the stench she is producing. She doesn't care about the smell, but it would feel nice to be clean.
Another sigh permeates the air. I'm too cute to smell like a pile of trash… Her gaze often wanders due to her rather short attention span, and locks onto a few local performers playing something she didn't recognize. As if she were in a part of the performance, she begins to dance slightly to the music that consumed her. A few surprised glances follow her for a moment, snapping Toga back to reality. Although slightly confused, Toga stops her dance and continues to move onward. Music was supposed to be danced to, right?
They just don't get me...
As per usual, Toga soon sees herself at the abandoned beach in Musutafu, which greets her with the familiar sight of endless trash. She often bathed in the beach due to her having no other options, and today was no different. Once behind all the trash, Toga takes a quick look around, and nods after noticing nobody is around. After closing her eyes and imagining herself melting away, a familiar warmth encases her core. As the sensation spreads, she feels a slight click in her mind, before a sharp coldness takes hold on her, causing a small shudder. In no time, the cold is gone, replaced by the heat from the sand on her feet and the shining daylight sun. She is still left shaking for a few moments as a side-effect of her quirk.
Tada! And here I am!
Toga hated being exposed, but she did enjoy being herself on occasion. With her renewed sense of self, Toga relishes in the hot sun, enjoying the heat that encapsulated her. Her gaze turns hopeful, wondering if she could enjoy this forever. As she taps her soles slightly into the sand, she notes the warmth on her feet, and lies back for a few moments, wondering if this is what heaven feels like. The feeling of grit and sand scratches her back, but the warmth more than compensates for it.
After some time, Toga slowly gets up, and dances into the ocean, relishing in the cool rush of water. The sudden transformation of warmth to shivering coldness forces a shudder out of her, but she enjoyed it. The surrounding water rendered her weightless, and Toga begins to sing in delight, singing about everything and nothing at the same time.
While indulging in her bathing session in the ocean, Toga begins to feel a dull ache in her stomach. It turns out she wasn't able to enjoy heaven forever, as human needs come first. Sighing in bliss, Toga swims back to shore and dries off in the sun, which leaves her to nothing but herself and her mind. That wasn't always bad, but she was currently plagued by negative thoughts about her parents. She couldn't help it; everything she has been through was their fault. First, they disown her, then she finds herself homeless, with nowhere to go. Because a homeless girl was easy prey, the League of Villains took her in, which wouldn't have happened if her parents kept her safe. She still has a soft spot for the League; they are the only people she ever had any positive relationship with.
When her eyes catch onto a nearby apple core, Toga involuntarily slaps herself on the face, before scolding herself vocally. "Stay focused Toga, you have more important things than your silly past to focus on!"
Dumbass...
To distract herself, Toga threads her hands through her hair, braiding it into her signature pigtails. Content with her appearance, Toga transforms back into Ibuki, and begins to travel back to town. Although her desire isn't overwhelming, she still has a constant ache for blood. She didn't really expect anything; un-dried blood was a rare find, and she would never resort to violence unless absolutely necessary.
Toga has a hard time walking in town because of the occasional sight of food venders or other food related items. She knows that she could probably steal without being caught, but committing crime is her last option, and she was nowhere near desperate enough right now. Instead of letting herself get tempted to steal, she begrudgingly heads towards some nearby alleyways in pursuit of some food.
After walking around some alleyways for a while to no avail, she shrugs and chooses to take the only detour she has left. In a rather swift motion, Toga twirls around. She soon finds herself back in town and begins to travel again . After around half an hour of travel, Toga stands in front Aldara Junior High, where she was often able successfully scrounge up some food. Nearby alleyways almost always yielded something, even if they weren't directly next to the school. She wasn't able to enter without potential trouble due to her appearance, but she knew that she may be able to get some actual food. Her cravings for blood were at a low level, so she was not at risk of acting out.
Toga starts to check a few alleyways near the school and is met by a clean can of beans; an excited squeal escapes her lips at the tantalizing sight. She was all too used to alleyways, so the dark and rather unclean environment didn't faze her at all. Due to a lack of sound and dull colors, Toga starts to notice her thoughts surface again. With nothing to distract her, her thoughts gain a much stronger force. The mostly beige coloration of the alleyway made her think of her young, sheltered life, which causes Toga to flinch. To numb her mind as she often did, she falls into a mental trance, oblivious to the direction she was walking in.
Before she was able to register what she was doing, Toga appears on the Aldera Junior High School premises, still in the form of Ibuki. Due to being in formal attire, nobody pays any attention to her as she walks inside the school. The vibrant hallways filled with young souls startle her back to her senses, and she swiftly retreats, to a nearby bathroom. In a mild panic, Toga looks around her to make sure she's safe and heaves for air a few times. When she realizes that she isn't in her usual form, she calms down and speeds into the bathroom. After entering, she pushes her back into the side of the bathroom, thankful for the small amount of space she has to hide from anyone who is in the bathroom.
"DEKU!" A new voice sprung to life, which made her mind quiet down to an abrupt halt. "YOU THINK YOU CAN BE A HERO? YOU ARE FUCKING WEAK! YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A STRONG QUIRK! YOU DON'T EVEN USE YOUR LAZY EXCUSE OF A QUIRK! YOU CAN'T BE A FUCKING HERO IF YOU DON'T USE YOUR DAMN QUIRK, EXTRA!"
The pure intensity of the voice makes Toga shrink into the corner of the bathroom, away from sight. She didn't want to get herself involved with whatever was going on, especially if things turned violent. The one thing that stuck with her, though, was the mention of his quirk being weak.
The sound of a male's voice, although malicious, makes her question her location. Wait a minute, am I in the boy's bathroom? Maybe I can find someone to prey on!
"I- Kaachan…" A new voice appears, which Toga has to strain her ears to hear from how quiet it was.
Bad idea, violence is bad, right? I could get some tasty blood, though!
"SHUT UP!" She covers her mouth, but the damage was done. Luckily for her, the commotion continued without her interruption.
"WHAT? SPIT IT OUT!" The louder voice, who she assumes to be owned by Kaachan, snaps her back into reality.
"You're ri-right…"
The explosions grow a little louder, which is complimented by a loud stomp on the ground. "I'm right about what exactly, Deku?"
With a lack of response, Toga feels the gut instinct to get up and leave. For whatever reason, something tells her that staying is a good idea, and goes with it instead of her gut.
Her thoughts get interrupted by the sound of someone stepping forward, as well as a shriek of fear. "SPIT IT OUT ALREADY, I DON'T HAVE ALL DAY!"
A few seconds pass, which feels like minutes to Toga. "I can't be a hero, Kaachan…" Deku gets his first coherent sentence out without any stuttering, which was remarkable. "No-now, ca-an you l-et me u-se the ba-bathroo-room?" The weaker voice mutters, which is followed by another forceful step forward.
There he goes again with the stuttering; perhaps I should do something about this.
Curiosity gets the best of Toga, and she gets up slowly, moving forward to get an insight as to what she was witnessing. Her eyes widen in surprise when she sees the terror on the green-haired kid's face, as well as the tears flowing down his cheeks. He is pressed into one of the bathroom walls, with his mouth opened slightly, as if he wanted to say something else. By pure coincidence, his mouth shuts right when Toga gets a clear view of him, which causes her to direct her attention elsewards. She isn't shocked to see another figure with miniature explosions coming from his hands, and the rage on his face strikes Toga with dread.
Nope, nope nope, bad idea. Maybe they're just arguing?
The anger on Kaachan's face seems to dwindle a little bit, but not for long. "Yeah, you can, as a reward for learning your DAMN lesson." Kaachan appears to relax a little, before lunging forward to the shocks of both Toga and Deku. He extends his arm outward, and with how close he is, his hand connects with the wall right beside Deku's face. He puts his leg out, and kicks Deku's chest slightly while taking his other hand and putting it on Deku's shoulder. The motions make Deku shrivel in fear.
Definitely not an argument… Dammit, why won't I do anything?
"If I ever catch you thinking about being a hero again, there will be consequences." Deku nods his head furiously which causes Kaachan to shake his head before storming out of the bathroom. Before Toga can react, Kaachan is upon her, and out of frustration, pushes her slightly to the side while muttering, "Damn Deku, I wish I didn't have to do this…"
By the time Toga comes back to her senses, Kaachan was long gone, which gave her no chance to confront him on what she just heard. What she hears from the other person in the bathroom causes a dagger to pierce her heart, and as if her legs had a mind of their own, she moves towards the crying child.
What are you doing? I shouldn't want to talk to him! Her thoughts had no impact, as her body kept moving. The sound of new footsteps causes Deku to cower in fear, which causes Toga to stop. With how tall Toga currently was, she couldn't blame him for getting a little scared, especially after what just transpired. He looks up at her, and sees his crying form in full. His eyes are tinted red, and the sight of tears all over his face causes a slight stinging feeling in her own eyes
Well, I might as well talk to him a little. He needs it, anyways. The thought of talking to a boy makes her jump a little, especially one her own age. Then again, he would have no clue that she was a girl, which reassures her.
"Hey, is everything okay?" Toga puts on her best attempt at a reassuring smile, while slightly bending her knees down to be closer to Deku's level.
"Y-yeah, I'm alright. I'm g-goin-ing to go us-use the ba-bathroom now, b-bye!" In an instant, Deku gets up and moves to a nearby urinal, muttering to himself.
She shouldn't have been surprised, but the sudden end to the conversation makes her feel a little bad. That went horribly, maybe I could try talking from my own experiences?
With that thought, Toga stands back up fully, and travels to a urinal near Deku, and pauses. Uh, do I actually use the urinal? I mean, I am a girl…
"Dumbass, I'm a guy right now…" Toga mutters, before clasping her hand over her mouth in surprise.
Did I seriously say that out loud?
"Uh, wh-what?" Deku's voice makes Toga want to faint from embarrassment.
There's your answer…
Without thinking of a good answer, Toga speaks by instinct. "Nothing! You heard nothing!"
"Okay, i-if you say s-so." The response she got gives her a little relief, but she still feels like a dunce.
With the newfound silence, time continues to pass, and Toga knows she doesn't have a lot of time to think things out. She isn't actually using the bathroom, but she positions herself to look as if she were to keep things natural.
Just speak already, you don't have a lot of time!
"Uh… You know, a quirk doesn't define who you are as a person. Being a hero isn't just about the quirk you have; it's also about character. I'm no hero, but I would love to be. With my past experiences, though, I don't think I will ever see the spotlight. You, on the other hand, are young, and have the chance to be a hero. You can still be a hero without a strong quirk, but the road to get there will be much tougher. I'm sure you know all of this already, but I thought you may need to hear it." Toga finishes with a slight sigh, feeling satisfied with her words. It isn't the best she could do, but she wants to do more.
The lack of an immediate response makes her start to feel a mild pressure in her chest, but the response she did get was not expected at all. "What if…" Deku begins to speak, but pauses for a moment to recollect himself. "What if y-you refus-use to use y-y-your quirk?"
After Deku finishes, the sound of a flushing urinal fills the air, which gives Toga a chance to think about her reply. Without looking back, she hears the sound of dull footsteps, which remind her of a skittish bunny. The thought of him being a bunny makes her want to chuckle, but she holds it in by keeping the conversation going.
"Then that's your choice, and whatever your reasons are, I respect them. I know from experience that ignoring a quirk is ignoring a part of you." Since she didn't use the urinal, she didn't bother to flush it before strolling over to where Deku was standing. After looking at him, she smiles from the fact that he's no longer crying. Seeing that gives her a little bit of confidence to rest her hand on his shoulder before continuing. "Nobody knows you better than you do. You don't know me at all, and if you did, you'd probably be long gone by now. Everyone has their own story, and those that try to push you down have no right to do so. You are the only person who is allowed to push yourself down, so try not to let yourself fall, even if other people try to take you down. You still have time, being a kid, and that time is best used now, rather than later. I know that you aren't alone in your journey, and your quirk is something that makes you special. To ignore it is to ignore yourself."
Deku recoils a little from the touch, even if it takes him her whole entire monologue to react. Even with the recoil, her hand continues to rest on his shoulder. It takes him a second, but he relaxes into the touch. He smiles a little in appreciation from the contact, which makes Toga's heart swell. "Thank you. That h-h-hel-helped a lot…"
Toga laughs for a moment before snapping her hand onto her mouth, which causes Izuku to look up in confusion. "I am so sorry, I didn't mean to laugh like that! I don't even know why I did… Anyways, I have a few more things to say, if that's alright?"
Deku's mouth opens for a moment, before closing abruptly. "O-oh, sorry about in-interrupting. Y-you don't ha-have to k-keep going, you've d-done mo-more than enough!"
Deku's insecurity makes Toga's drive to keep going even stronger. "No, really, it's okay! I just wanted to touch on a few other things. To start, I saw your encounter with that Kaachan brat earlier, by the way. I don't know what led up to it, but it did not look friendly. If he was a bully, I can always report him for you, or something. You seem like a good kid from our conversation and your selflessness to everything, and I don't want..." She realizes she's stalling the topic and moves on. "Ah, sorry, I was rambling a little. I just wanted you to know that no matter what he says, you can be a hero. Everyone can, even without a strong quirk. I already mentioned the fact that quirks aren't the core of being a hero, and I firmly stand by that. It's really honorable to keep going, especially after being threatened and pushed down by others. Nobody can stop a good heart from extending out to others, and your drive is what matters. Keep on working towards your dream, and we may just see you on the news for saving people one day!"
If only I could believe those words, but maybe he can.
She realizes that she hasn't addressed his gratitude, which makes her frown for a moment. "Oh, sorry about ignoring your gratitude. No need to thank me! I'm really glad that I was able to help, like really, really glad. Thank you for giving me the time to talk to you, it helped me as well!" With her final words, Toga releases her tender grip on his shoulder, waiting to hear his response.
Everything I said is the truth. It also helps that he's kind of cute. Oh well, it is what it is. Plus, I will probably never see him again. I don't think I've said something so kind about someone before, but I stand by it. This is odd… I feel like I've experienced this somewhere, but I don't know why...
Deku closes his eyes for a second, before nodding to himself. When he opens his eyes, a look of unadulterated confidence surfaces for a moment. It doesn't take long for his confident appearance to recede into a more unsure look, though. She can faintly hear him mutter something, but she can't make out what it is. "Hey, uh, I just wanted to s-say thank you again. I re-really needed to he-hear it, and that was one of the n-nicest things I've ever heard. I do-don't know how to repay y-you, b-but you putting s-some of yo-your time in-into tal-talking to me me-means the world!" He pauses for a moment, putting his hands in his pocket before continuing. "I don't thin-think that I can b-be a h-hero, though. Even s-so, if a-at le-least o-one person thinks so, t-then I wi-will k-keep trying." He sighs, before touching a tougher topic. "M-my mom doesn't e-even th-think I c-can be a hero… I-t really d-does mean t-the w-world t-to me… I a-already said t-that, sorry! Really t-though, I ma-may have g-given up i-if you didn't g-give me t-the pep talk… I j-just have one l-last question, i-if that's alright with you. N-no cra-crap, I sh-should stop t-talking. Sorry for ke-keeping you here, y-you can go if y-yo-you want."
Toga knew she should say something, but hearing him shower her with praise like that was unexpected. She looks away from Deku in embarrassment because of the heat that she feels in her face. It warms her heart to know that she helped, especially with the slight doubt that tugged at her while she spoke. She didn't expect to get such gratitude, but it made her heart flutter. It already swelled, so each beat of her heart made her feel even happier.
The buildup of happiness makes Toga want to cry in a way she hasn't before; every possible response that she thought of to stop at her throat as nothing could express her feelings. She needs to say something to Izuku, so she decides to answer the question. "O-of course, go ahead!"
Deku mumbles for a moment, but catches himself and speaks up. "Wait, uh, what is yo-your name? I haven't s-seen you b-be-before... I mean, you don't have to s-say, I get it if y-you don't want to. I just thought that since you w-were so nic-nice to me, ma-maybe you'd be okay with th-that. I'm s-sorry for asking, maybe that was a li-little rude o-of me..."
Another smile tugs Toga's lips as she looks at Deku again, and seeing him smile, although only a little, made her want to talk to him forever. Her heart feels cozy, but not in a romantic way. She didn't know what exactly the feeling was, but the familiarity of it makes her want it to stay. She wishes the sensation could spread throughout her whole body, and closes her eyes to imagine the feeling.
Toga remembers that she was just asked a question, and mentally slaps herself for forgetting so fast, opening her eyes in the process. "It isn't rude to ask for someone's name, you know. You can call me Ibuki! Since you asked me about my name, why don't you tell me what your name is as well?"
"Uh, yeah, me? Right, o-of course. It's Izuku Mi-Midoriya?" Izuku catches the end of his last name with a mild raise in his voice, as if he were questioning his own answer. His nervousness makes her chuckle a little.
Izuku? Could have sworn it was Deku.
Although she liked Deku as a name, she decided to refrain from using it. "Nice to meet you, Izuku-san!"
The comfortable heat in Toga's chest explodes outwards from saying his name, which makes her raise her hands to her chest in delight. She feels like saying one more thing to Izuku, and the one thing that comes to her mind is the explosive brat known as Kaachan. She pauses for a moment, before mentioning him again. "I talked about him already, but that Kaachan brat deserves some serious discipline. He's all talk, and sees himself way too highly for his own good. With all that confidence that he exudes, I wanna knock some sense into him." She twirls back towards the exit to the bathroom, before raising her arm playfully and waving. "See you around, Mi-Midoriya-san!" Toga can almost feel the embarassment that her mild teasing caused for Midoriya, which made her squeal in excitement while leaving.
She hears one final line from Izuku, but it slowly fades away while she leaves. "Ri-right! See y-you around, Ibuki-kun!"
In no time at all, Toga exits the bathroom and dives into a nearby empty hallway. She assumes that it was lunchtime because most of the noise came from one area to her far right. It takes a little while, but she eventually sees Izuku leave the bathroom with an irreplaceable grin on his face. Seeing him so happy makes her heart grow three times its size. Her face hurt from smiling, but it was well worth it.
Toga's hunger for blood overtakes her again since she was alone again with ripples of desire spreading from her stomach to all of her entrails. Her hands begin to shake vigorously, which is amplified by her hunger. She wanted to keep focusing on Izuku, but she couldn't. All she feels is the movement of her legs and the eventual sight of blood. The thought of blood is often enough to throw her into a rage if she goes too long without it. Her thoughts slowly become more and more distorted with a lack of blood, with constant thoughts about blood and means in which she can obtain it. She wasn't to that point yet, but she felt the depression that comes without it. Seeing the blood again only amplifies her desire, and with nobody around, she lunges.
Toga's eyes open wide as her hands clench from anticipating the feeling. Something tells her that this time was going to be different than any of the others, which added to her excitement. The feeling of her tongue connecting with the wall sends a shockwave through her body that kick starts multiple reactions; her knees buckle to the ground, she lets out a booming laugh of release and relishes in the most intense feeling of euphoria she has felt yet. Her thoughts hit a sudden clarity but vanish soon after they come, leaving Toga to a new world of pleasure.
It could have been seconds, or minutes, or even hours, but she honestly could not tell. Eventually, Toga comes back to her senses. In doing so, she feels a sudden warmth in her cheeks, as well as consistent pulses of joy that grow more with each repeated quake. Holy shit, I need more of this! Is this love?
The thought of love makes her shudder slightly, but the lasting feeling of positive emotion overtakes the embarrassment.
No, of course not. In what world would I fall in love with someone from tasting their blood? That would be so dumb! The thought was so repulsive to her that she laughs again, but it was much less intense this time.
Her senses, although overwhelmed, are interrupted by a scream that pierced her ears to her left. Her face turns towards the sound in annoyance, but unfortunately, her vision is still overloaded. With her vision being as distorted as it was, all she could make out was the figure of a small kid, probably marked by fear. If he had screamed, he probably figured things out.
Toga really hoped the kid was an idiot, but she knew better. "Toga? TOGA? OH MY GO-" He didn't have time to finish his line, for Toga was already on him. She didn't know how she managed to get her hand on his mouth clearly, but she assumed that it was due to her vision returning to normal, although quite slowly. The sound of the boy trying to speak under her hand made her feel really bad, but she did not need to have her identity revealed to any bystanders from his screams.
Just to be sure that she can make her point clear, Toga reaches for her only remaining knife, and puts it to the base of the kid's neck. If the kid wasn't sure about her identity yet, he definitely knew now.
For fucks sake, here goes nothing…
