Chapter 1
The sixteen-year-old Uzumaki Naruto was standing at the door to the Hokage's office along with her godfather - Jiraiya of the Sannin. Well, the younger version of him. She took a deep breath, at the same time thinking, how the heck she's going to explain she's from the future.
"Enter" a male voice called them in from behind the door. They filed into the room and went before Hokage's desk. Naruto hardly was able to keep her expression steady when she saw her Jijii. Last time she saw him alive during the ill-fated chunin exam when he was killed by his former student - Orochimaru.
"Hello, sensei. The great Jiraiya-sama has arrived."
"Hello, Jiraiya. And who is this young lady you brought along?" the Sandaime asked his former student, at the same time eyed both of them quizzically.
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto, Hokage-sama. And I would like to request a private audience with you." Naruto politely introduced herself.
"Uzumaki? You certainly don't look like one. What do want to speak about you think you need a private audience." asked Sandaime.
"Old man, just dismiss your ANBU and active Privacy Seals." - said Ero-sennin. Sandaime raised his eyebrow. However, he fulfilled the request.
"I'm listening."
"How I've just said, my name is Uzumaki Naruto. I don't look like typical Uzumaki because of only one of my parents was from the Uzumaki clan. And the most important thing is that I'm from the future." Naruto ended shyly looking at the Sandaime. Hiruzen looked at her with a completely blank face.
"From the future, you say? You expect me to believe that?"
"Sensei, she's telling the truth. I didn't believe her either, at first. But she convinced me. Sensei she knows ransengan, which we both know that only me and Minato are the only people who can perform it. She also knows sage mode and frogs recognize her chakra. And the most important thing is that she is..."
"That I am a Kyubi's jinchuriki. And I know that Kushina Uzumaki is the current host or at least she was." the blond girl interrupted him.
"I suppose your sudden appearance is the reason why fox unexpectedly disappearance from Kushina's seal a few days ago."
"Yes. Because there can't be two kyubis so they both merged. But how do you..."
"How do I know?" Naruto nodded. "A few days ago a frantic Uzumaki Kusina-san came to me and said that her Kyubi was gone." said Hiruzen.
"So that means you believe me?" the blond asked hopefully.
"Yes. I've heard enough to believe that you're from the future. Also, my student backs your claims up. But I'd like to know how you did travel to the past."
"Well, you see. Ehm, before I landed here I wanted to get to know something about my clan so I came to the Uzumaki's temple and I found there a scroll with the seal that allows going back in time, but only about several dozen minutes at the utmost. So I wanted to try it. But apparently, I have so much chakra that I've landed over twenty years in the past. He, he."
The Sandaime-Jiji was speechless, then he hit his palm on his forehead. At the same time, Ero-sennin burst into laughter.
"So you're here because of your own stupidity." Jiji shook his head, then his countenance shifted into one of powerful authority. "Let us continue on more serious matters. Your background, as well as Kyubi's condition, will be label an SS-rank secret, only known between the three of us. If we wish for another person to learn this information it will only be through my and your - Naruto - approvals." his student and the blond nodded. "Furthermore, we must decide how to proceed with your knowledge about the future. While it will be a great help, I am aware of the dangerous consequences of meddling with time." he paused. "How much do you know about shinobi history?"
"Good enough, I think." she paused."Hey, Jiji. Can you give me a dap?" Naruto asked. Hiruzen raised a left eyebrow but he did as she asked. At the moment when their fists collided, he saw all her life. He saw how poor the villagers treated her because of containing the fox, the fox attack years earlier, his own death by the hands of his own student. Jiraiya daying by his own student's hands as well. Naruto protecting Konoha against a threat. A group that captures the jinchuriki for their Biju. So much goes wrong in the future.
He looked at the young girl with sad eyes. A sixteen-year-old girl shouldn't bear such a burden on her shoulders.
"Listen to me, Naruto-chan. You've done the right thing by telling me the truth. I will help you in any way I can. The issue with the fox is a problem, though. Kushina -san will certainly start asking questions if I tell her she doesn't need to worry about the fox's disappearance all of sudden. What do you want to do?"
Naruto was silent. She didn't expect the Hokage to believe her. She felt like a weight has been taken off of her shoulders and she relaxed a little.
"We should at least tell her that I'm the new jinchuriki. We can tell her that I had part of its chakra sealed when I was born by people who wanted to use me as a weapon. Jiraiya-sensei taught me that telling half-truths and mixing in lies was the best way to lie. Besides, she deserves to know that Kyubi won't appear and attack one day."
"As you wish. You should know that telling Kushina-san meaning also telling Minato-kun as well." informed Jiji.
"I know. Ero-sennin already informed me about that."
"Gaki, what I told you about calling me by this stupid name?" shouted annoyed Jiraiya.
"And I told you I would stop when you stopped being a pervert, Ero-sennin. What means this will never happen."
"Ero-sennin? Surely, this nickname suits you well Jiraiya." the Sandaime burst into laughter. "But let's go back to the more important matters. Naruto-chan, do you sill wish to be known as Uzumaki Naruto?" Hiruzen asked.
"Yes, that would be the best because probably in a short amount of time it will be obvious that I am from the Uzumaki clan due to my special chakra."
"As you wish. Tomorrow I will send for Minato-kun and Kushina-san. You've given me a lot to think about, Naruto-chan.
Then naruto grinned brightly, abruptly destroying the mood. "Sandaime-Jiji, I'm hungry! Wanna treat me to Ichiraku ramen?" Her eyes transformed into those of a puppy dog begging to be fed."There is an Ichiraku here, right?" she looked terrified by the idea of Ichiraku ramen not existing.
After a moment of awkward silence, Srutobi guffawed.
"Gaki, I have not laughed so much in years. I'm sure you will be a joy to have around. Let's head to dinner and yes it will be my treat. And don't worry Ichiraku ramen already exists."
"Great! Jiji you better get your wallet ready because I do eat a lot even if I don't look like."
