Blaine POV
Today was one of the many Warbler performances at Dalton. I didn't expect it to be any different than usual, but was I ever more wrong in my life.
As I was scrambling down the stairs towards the Student Commons, I felt a light tap on my left shoulder. I turned around to see a guy staring at me.
To say he was good looking was an understatement. He was beautiful, with amber hair, hazel eyes and full lips. My heart fluttered ever so slightly as he looked at me.
"Um, hi. Can I ask you a question? I'm new here."
"My name's Blaine" I said, holding out my hand.
"Kurt" he said, shaking it. His voice is smooth and confident.
"So, what exactly is going on?" He asks, looking around at the students gathering ahead of us.
"The Warblers!," I say, looking behind me, "Every now and then they throw an impromptu performance in the Student Commons. Tends to shut down the school for awhile." I smile.
"So wait...the Glee club here is kind of cool?" He asks looking skeptical.
"The Warblers are like rockstars." The confusion on his face is adorable. "C'mon. I know a shortcut." I said, grabbing his hand.
He looked surprised, and honestly I have no idea why I took his warm hand, but it felt right, and I didn't let go. I led him down a side hallway that barely anyone but the Warblers use. The moment was magical. I held this boy's hand and ran down the hallway. I couldn't have been happier.
Once we reached our destination, I dropped his hand. I pushed open the sturdy double doors and entered the packed room. My gut started churning as unusual nerves started surfacing. I was never nervous to perform or sing. Maybe it was this mysterious Kurt.
"Ooh. I stick out like a sore thumb." He said from behind me.
"Next time don't forget your jacket, new kid. You'll fit right in." I said brushing his lapel flat. "Now, if you'll excuse me." The backround accapella to Teenage Dream by Katy Perry started up and I turned away from Kurt.
As I started singing, Kurt got wide-eyed and started smiling. All through my performance, I couldn't keep my eyes off Kurt. At the end of the song, he started clapping like crazy and I smiled at him. God. I couldn't like this guy I met him about six minutes ago. But he was so...pure.
But anyway, he was clearly a spy for another school, so I couldn't get my hopes too high.
Hey—so this was some of the first fanfic I wrote...I wrote it forever ago
I mostly just wrote this for myself, but I thought I would share it with all y'all. Thanks for reading!
