I Won't Leave You Alone

Author's Note: Welp…here I go again doing some tragedy in nightmare scenarios But it's just for inspiration. XD Please enjoy!

It was quiet. Too quiet. Chloe Von Einzbern was in a dark forest, wandering aimlessly around, trying to know where in the world she was. She walked for about 15 minutes and it felt like a ghost town. Nobody was there when she tried to call for them. She decided to walk a little further. All of a sudden, she sees a shadowy figure and one familiar one struggling to battle it.

"M-Mother?" Chloe said and rushed toward the two. She looked like she needed help.

However, she was blocked by an invisible barrier and could not get through no matter what she did. Her blades, arrows or any sort of magic did not penetrate the barrier.

"Mother? Mother!" Chloe tried calling out, slamming her fist on the barrier.

The shadowy figure grabbed Irisviel by the neck and lifted her up. She struggled to get free, but the figure's grip was too strong. It held three knives between the fingers and stabbed her gut with them, shocking the poor tanned girl. The figure then threw down the now dead Irisviel and ran way.

"Mother!" Chloe cried, dropping to her knees. "No…! Why!?"

She shut her eyes tightly, shaking her head roughly. However, she was transported to another place. A mansion that belonged to Luvia. However, everything was getting destroyed by this one shadowy figure with a sword. Illya was there, helpless. Miyu was down and everyone else was severely injured. She had no idea where Luvia and Rin were. The worst part was, Chloe was far from where Illya was and the figure was close to her.

"Illya! Look out!" the tanned girl shouted.

She was unable to get to her in time. Illya was blinded by the blade and was struggling to know where she was going. The shadowy figure thrusted its sword through her stomach and pulled it out shortly after. Illya fell to the floor, face down, making Chloe stop abruptly, her eyes shaking. She could not believe what she was seeing. First her mother and now her older "sister". Was she really going to lose the two people she's closest with?

"N-no….no…Illya…please…!" Chloe dropped to her knees as soon as she reached her "twin".

The blinded girl crawled toward the tanned girl, reaching a hand out. Luckily, it reached Chloe's and touched it. Heavy tears formed and fell fast. Illya only managed to hold the tanned girl's hand just for a bit longer before she passed away. The shadowy figure then fled from the scene while Chloe sat there, wailing.

**Reality**

Chloe jolts up from the nightmare, finding that she's woken up crying. She raises a hand to feel tears still streaming down her face. She then turns over toward her "older sister" who is sleeping soundly next to her. A new batch of tears begin to form.

"Thank goodness….Illya…" she chokes a sob.

"Mmm…eh? Kuro?" Illya can hear the quiet sobs coming from her "little sister", so she sits up and turns to face her. "Ah! K-Kuro, what's wrong!?"

Chloe's only response is plunging herself in her "older sister's" arms, sobbing her heart out. Illya is surprised for a bit before smiling softly and embracing her tenderly, stroking her hair.

"There, there," she says quietly. "I'm here, I'm here. Don't worry."

The dark skinned girl nods and continues to cry. She is glad that it was only a dream, but it felt so real. Like, Illya and their mother really did leave her. Once the crying ceases, Illya pulls her away and wipes the tears off her face.

"Feeling better?" she asks.

The tanned girl only nods, sniffling.

"Was it a nightmare?" Illya continues.

Chloe nods again. "It was like I was alone again. You two…Mother…and you…were leaving me. You two were killed by some unknown adversaries. And I…I was unable…to save you…"

"Oh, no…!" Illya gasps. "That sounds horrible!"

"It is! I don't want to be alone again!" Chloe cries. "Please, Illya! My big sister!" She put her hands on Illya's shoulders as new batch of tears fall freely. "Please don't go anywhere! I don't want to lose sight of you, Mother, Miyu or anyone else! I don't want to be lonely again…!"

Illya leans in and silences her with a kiss, a brief but passionate one. Once she pulls away, she gives a gentle smile. "You're never alone. I won't let that happen. Miyu and I will make sure of that."

"Y-you promise?" Chloe can't help but ask.

"I swear I won't leave you alone," Illya assures her as she gives her another kiss on the lips. "We're sisters, remember? We're family. No one gets left behind."

"Oh, Illya…!" This time, Chloe sheds tears of happiness and embraces her again.

Illya returns the embrace, stroking her hair. "I love you, Kuro…no, Chloe. I love you so much."

"I love you, too, Illya. And thank you…for soothing me."

A/N: I based Chloe's nightmare on the events that happened in the regular Fate Series. Hope you all enjoyed this little story, since this is my first.
