The moon shined brightly on the yaman prefecture illuminating the beauty of the environment. The lush trees swayed ever so slightly that it was as if they were dancing with the calming breeze. The still pond reflected the light of the moon causing the beauty that is the sky to be mirrored against the water. It was as if everyone and everything was at peace.

There was one person who was slicing through the silence like nails against chalkboard. They were laying in bed but they were getting anything but a peaceful rest. Their eyebrows were creasing together in worry, as sweat was causing a light sheen to be created on their forehead. They were letting out a moan so light that even on such a quiet night no one would be able to hear. All of a sudden the restless movement stopped and they were perfectly still. It felt like hours but it was only seconds before they sat up ever so slowly. They fully stood from their seated position and with light footsteps made their way to the front door.

Once they made it through the front door, they started to walk down the sidewalk, the tapping of their feet against the concrete broke through the silence of the night. The moon was reflecting ever so beautifully against their caramel skin. The only thing that was keeping them warm was the beige oversized t-shirt that they fell asleep in.

To onlookers it was as if they were taking a stroll in questionable clothing but if you looked close enough their eyes were closed, it was like they were asleep. They payed no mind to the cars that were honking as they crossed the street nor the feeling of dirt on their bare feet. It was about twenty minutes into the walk before they finally stood at a stand still. It was as if Ai finally snapped back into reality, he gave a light shake of his head, his eyes wide as he looked at his surroundings.

"Wahhhhhhhhh," he let out a high pitched yell that caused birds to fly away from a nearby tree. "Ummm h-how did I get here,"

He knew he wasn't gonna get a reply since no one was around him, but all his stress suddenly stopped when a feeling that he couldn't exactly put his finger on took over his entire body. He turned to look and straight ahead of him were golden gates and behind that was a academy that was giving off a totally different vibe than the surrounding area. It was as if a shadow even without a single cloud in the sky was cast over the building. He didn't like the feeling of doom that washed over him from being near the building. He turned his neck to the left and read the sign 'Ororu Academy'.

A/N: Hi to everyone that stumbled upon my story! Thank you for making it all the way down to the author notes. This is my first ever attempt at an SYOC and at writing in general so please tell me what you think of this prologue and I'll try my best to improve. This is short I know but I really did want to just give you guys a feel for my writing and a little feel for the story and to introduce the main character who will only have a bit more screen time then the rest. I have a definitive plot line laid out so don't be worried because it means I know exactly we're I want this story to go.

To everyone who might submit I want to say that this is a canon parallel so we have a chance at some of the characters to be shown in this series. It will take place at ororu Academy, which is a school that only wants the best of the best and will absolutely not take anything less. (Kinda rhymed) I started this because I liked to read SYOC's when they were more common ( a few years back) and I always wanted to try my hand at writing. I will be accepting about 10-15 students maybe less depending on if I get enough submissions. So I'm super excited about this an I hope you guys are as well.

The rules and the form will be located in my bio. Also thanks again for reading or atleast skimming through my story, hopefully I was able to at least make you think about submitting a character and look forward to seeing your submissions. All submissions will close on April 16th. Hopefully that's enough time to submit a character.
