This is a fanfic I wanted to write for a long time, I just didn't know exactly how to write it. I always really liked the brother/sister relationship between Natsu and Wendy, and I always thought it was not developed enough. So, tell me what you think about this oneshot.

Natsu's little sister

This story takes place after the Grand Magic Games arc, before Tartaros arc.

Natsu was walking through the streets of Magnolia, he was going to the guild, with Happy perched on his shoulder. Though, as he was on his way, he suddenly smelt Carla's scent, that wasn't surprising, she and Wendy were supposed to come home from a mission today, though, what surprised Natsu was that he couldn't smell Wendy's scent. He decided to go talk to Carla to know more about it.

"Hey Happy, I can tell Carla is close, but Wendy's not with her, I think we should go ask her why" he told his blue furred companion

"Aye Sir"

And, so, they were both following Carla's scent to reach her, which they did in only a few minutes. As soon as she saw them, though, she flew at top speed toward them and starting talking ultra fast, too fast for Natsu to understand.

"Carla, talk slower, I don't understand anything" he said, quite concerned because Carla looked panicked, and she wasn't one to easily loose her calm.

"It's Wendy, when we were coming back, she was exhausted from the mission, and, some creep caught her as we were walking through an alley, she was too exhausted to escape, and they injected her a strange thing, I think it might be to block her magic. We have to rescue her!" Carla said

Natsu had lost his cheerful face and had now a really serious look on his face.

"Tell me where she's been taken, and go to the guild, you're too tired to be of help, Happy will fly me there and I'll follow her scent to find her, don't worry Carla, I'll bring Wendy back safe and sound" Natsu said confidently.

"Thank you Natsu" Carla said

After giving him the name of the street where Wendy was taken, she flew toward the guild.

"Happy, max speed, we have to find Wendy quickly before these guys can hurt her" Natsu said, extremely serious

Without a word, Happy caught Natsu and flew as fast as he could toward the location Carla had given them.

In less than two minutes, they were there. As soon as they arrived, Natsu jumped down and started to smell around to catch Wendy's scent. He was so used to her scent he easily caught it and immediately started running, following his nose.

He was running so fast even Happy had difficulties following him. The blue exceed could see his best friend was extremely worried for their young blue-haired friend.

After ten minutes of running, Natsu stopped suddenly in front of a three floor house.

"She's in here, and she's not alone, there are a lot more people there" Natsu said. "We have to locate where she is before doing anything, they could really hurt her"

"I'm surprised Natsu, I thought you would go head first as always" Happy remarked

"Not when my little sister's life is at stake Happy. Now try flying around the house and look through the windows on the upper floors, if you see anything tell me, I'll try to smell if I can locate her more precisely in the house."

"Okay Natsu" Happy said, quite shocked at hearing Natsu referring to Wendy as his little sister, though, if he thought about it, it wasn't that surprising, Natsu was, in fact, extremely protective of the young Dragon Slayer, ever since she joined the guild, and even before, during their fight against Oracion Seis.

When he looked at the third floor windows, the first thing he noticed was Wendy, and he was relieved to finally find her, though, when he saw all that was around her, he really felt disgusted at these men. He quickly went back down to get Natsu.

"Natsu, I found her, she's on the third floor, it is only one big room, there are around ten men around her I don't know if they are mage" Happy said

"Okay Happy, you're gonna drop me on the roof as close as possible to where you think she is in the room."

"Aye" Happy answered

As soon as he had dropped Natsu, Natsu through a punch through the roof, effectively piercing it he jumped through the hole and found himself just next to Wendy. What he saw sickened him. Wendy was barely conscious, she was covered in bruises, and was chained, though the worst part was that she, as most of the men, was naked. He quickly pulled her in his arms and wrapped his vest around her to shield her from these pervert's gaze.

"Na-Natsu-nii" she said weakly

"I'm here Wendy, don't worry" he said soothingly

"You came for me" she said, her voice still weak

"Of course I would come, that's what big brother are for" He answered smiling at her

Hearing that, she closed her eyes, knowing she was always safe when Natsu was there, and she let sleep take her.

Natsu immediately called above him

"Happy come pick up Wendy, wait for me on the roof, I'll take her back to the guild when I'm done with them" He told his feline best friend

Just a second later, the sky dragon slayer was lifted out of the room and that left Natsu alone with the men who were trying to do such disgusting thing to his sister.

"What were you going to do to my little sister?" he asked darkly

"No-nothing, we didn't know you were her brother Salamander Sir" one of them answered, shaking from fear at the sight of Natsu. They all knew how powerful he was, they had seen him during the Grand Magic Games.

"Stop lying and tell me the truth!" he shoued

"We-we were going to rape her" one of them answered

"You disgusting piece of shit, she's just a child for God's sake, how could you think of something so disgusting, I'm going to make you pay!" Natsu shouted, before starting to beat them up one by one.

Once he was done, he quickly called the rune knights to get these criminals in jail. As soon as it was done, he jumped out through the hole in the roof to find Happy looking after an unconscious Wendy.

"Let's go back to the guild buddy" he said, as he took Wendy in his arms and Happy on his shoulders, before jumping of the roof.

Then, he started walking toward the guild, a smile on his face as he looked toward Wendy, knowing she was safe.

A few minutes later, when he arrived at the guild, for once he didn't burst through the door, he couldn't with Wendy in his arms, instead he entered calmly, everybody was waiting for news about what happened to Wendy as Carla had told them what happened.

"Natsu, what happened to Wendy?" Mirajane asked concerned

"Why is she naked?" Lucy asked, even more worried

"Is she hurt?" Carla asked, panicked

"Let me just settle her in a bed in the infirmary for her to rest, and I'll explain everything" he said calmly, before carrying her to the infirmary, where he set her in bed, pulling the cover to her neck.

"Sleep well little sis" he said as he went back to the main room where all his guild mates were waiting for answers.

"So, Carla, no she is not hurt, except for a few bruises, I arrived just in time, and for the rest of you. Wendy was kidnapped by a bunch of creep, they took advantage of her exhaustion after coming back from a quest to take her by surprise and inject her some magic suppressant. When I arrived they were about to do horrible things to her" He said, making the whole guild worry about what these people might have done to Wendy.

"Natsu, what do you really mean by "horrible things"?" Mirajane asked, even though she was quite sure of the answer, she just didn't want to believe it.

"I don't really want to say it" Natsu answered, disgust visible on his face, just thinking about it

"Did they try to… to rape her?" Mirajane asked

"Yes, that's what I mean" He answered, obviously disgusted by these men's intentions. That answer made everyone gasp in horror at the thought of their young friend being hurt in such a way.

"Where are they, I'm gonna teach them a lesson!" Erza shouted

"Don't worry, I already took care of them, I beat them to a pulp, and now they are on their way to jail" Natsu answered "Though, they injected something strange to her, so I think it would be best to get Polyussica to check that it isn't dangerous" Natsu said

"I'll go get her", Jet said as he used his speed magic to quickly get to her house

After Polyusica's visit to Wendy, they learnt that the drug Wendy was injected with had blocked her magic and had tired her even more, but that it didn't have any long term effect, Wendy would stay unconscious for a few days, a week at most, and then quickly recover and go back to normal.

During the whole week, Natsu stayed to watch Wendy, to be sure that he'd be there when she woke up, Carla also stayed with him most of the time.

Wendy felt really sleepy, though, she knew she should wake up, she didn't know why, but she knew she had to wake up. So, slowly, she opened her eyes, she saw only blurry lights at first, but after blinking a few times to adjust, she could see Natsu looking at her with a huge smile on his face.

"So, you slept well Wendy?" he asked her

"Yes, what-what happened?" she asked, but then she suddenly remembered everything

"You-you came to rescue me!" she exclaimed

"Of course, you're my baby sister, I have to protect you"

"I'm not a baby" she pouted playfully

"I know Wendy, I was just joking" he answered, "though it's true that I have to protect you as your big brother"

"You really accept me as your little sister?" she asked, eyes sparkling with hope

"Of course I do, why wouldn't I want such a great little sister" he answered smiling brightly

"But I'm weak, and- and-"

Before she could finish, she was cut by Natsu

"No you're not, you're extremely strong Wendy, you're still young, ask anyone around the guild, I don't think any of us was as strong as you are now when we had your age" He answered gently

"Thank you Natsu-nii" she answered hugging him

Natsu quickly returned the hug, and she was soon lulled back to sleep by Natsu's warmth.

The next time she woke up, Natsu wasn't here, though Carla was.

"Hi Wendy, you finally awake, how do you feel?" the white exceed asked

"I still feel a little bit sleepy but otherwise I feel okay" Wendy answered "where is Natsu-nii?" she asked

"He went home to rest, he stayed a whole week awake looking after you to be sure he would be there when you woke up, he sure care a lot about you" Carla answered, she was beginning to appreciate the destructive dragon slayer, he seemed to not be such a bad influence for Wendy

"I'm so happy, he said he accepted me as his little sister, it means so much to me" Wendy told her best friend

"I'm sure you seeing him as a big brother means just as much to him" Carla answered sincerely

During the weeks following, Wendy was a little bit scared, when she was alone with men, except when Natsu was there, when he was there, she knew nothing bad could happen to her. He would always be there for her.
