So in order to keep my characters below the age of 30, I'm going to remove 10 years from the Fnaf 3, Sister Location, Pizza Simulator, Fnaf Ultimate Custom Night, and Fnaf VR. Everything remains the same, but they are all just about 15 years earlier. Fnaf 3 happens in 2008, SL 2009, PS 2009, Fnaf UCN 2009, Fnaf VR 2010. A lot of things will change so I hope you like this. Also thank You, Scott Cawthon, as all credit goes to you (Please make this canon)
THE FIRST NIGHT
October 12, 1987
It was my birthday. Kids smiling, dancing, eating Pizza. The animatronics with their funny voices. All of it. There was another Birthday party going on. In the other Party room. I was near my favorite animatronic. She was the least boring. Or I think it was a she. The Puppet Master. Why did I like her? She had behaved so strangely, so… intelligent. Like there was a soul inside of it. I don't think the other kids noticed though, but she was crying. The paint on her face were tears. Plus if you looked at her from an angle, she was glaring. With anger perhaps. Not like I care. I was bored and tired, and I hated these kids around me. They had all avoided me. On my own Birthday too. I don't have friends. But My mom wanted to invite someone. And I didn't want to go alone. But Jr's Freddy Fazbear was what was left of all the restaurants after, well a lot. The Bite of 83, the owner's kid who got stuffed in the bear's mouth. It looked, dare I say, funny. A few months before that 5 kids went missing. And a little after they went missing, the owner's daughter got "eaten" by the creepy clown doll. I was raised here though. At the restaurants. They were the only places where I forgot my brother got cancer, or my dad was a stifling alcoholic before "someone" pushed him in front of a bus. I mean he slipped. It was raining and all that. The last time I was here was just after my older brother's death. Poor kid.
As I monologue in my own head I noticed someone staring at me, not someone, something. The puppet, it just stared at me with a blank expression. A stupid blank expression. But something was so interesting about it. Of all my years of being here in this stupid city, I have never seen the puppet get out of her box. And she walked to me. Then she stood in front of me, towering, casting a long shadow. She reached behind her hand, grabbing something. She knelt down and pulled a bundle of flowers. Black flowers.
I looked at her, reluctantly taking the flowers, they felt so real. I'm pretty sure they were real. Real enough to have seeds and pollen and everything. I looked back up to her. Why me the kid who's lonely and has no friends? I looked into her eyes, and I swore for a split second. Just a single split second I see a girl's hazel eyes with gold flecks. Then they vanish quickly and are replaced by white dots, before quickly fading and returning to normal. The puppet stood back up and walked back over to her box before quickly sitting down in it. And closing the box.
Everyone looked at me. As they had never seen the puppet do that either, what scared me the most is that none of the other animatronics did that too. Nobody has ever seen them behave in such a strange fashion. Nobody had even seen the eyes. My face went red, I didn't like all the attention. I didn't know what happened. Some kids ran up to me. I think they were from the other party, as they were too young for this one. They started screaming at me to do it again. They begged me and asked me and all of that. I didn't know how and it was stressing me out. I felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack.
Then out of the corner of my eyes, I see somebody, a man with a brown suit, and red tie. He was quickening his pace to the puppets box. His hair was ruffled, and his eyes were very stressed. He had seen better days. He turned around and saw me staring at him. He walked over, telling the kids that this was my party and they were not allowed to be here. The kids walked away upset. The man kneeled down and looked at me.
I couldn't help but look at his eyes. They were brown, gold flecks. Just like the… Puppet. I looked more at the man. I remember him. A few years back. I saw him. He was with the other owner. He stood at the door, I was inside sitting by the window. He didn't let the other owner in. The other owner got angry. He stormed off to his car. I remember him. I remember her. Charlie. She went outside to look for her dad. I was younger than. It was 4-5 years ago. Our class was invited to the event. She had walked outside into the rain. Now that I remember, the puppet chased after her. I wanted to see what was happening. So I ran outside, Outside and I saw. The puppet was all gross and worn down. There was blood. I saw a man with purple. A purple suit, and his eyes just glowed purple. Then there was a bright flash. I closed my eyes and covered my face. When I looked up there was nothing but me and the rain. What happened that night. Where did Charlie go? WHAT HAPPENED.
The man in front of me cleared his throat, and my attention went back on him. His eyes were too distracting, but it was fine. I could hear him. I can't believe I didn't know what he was saying, how embarrassing.
"W-what, I'm sorry sir I blanked out there for a second." I told him, still shocked and questioning why I could see Charlie in the puppet. What happened. Why can't I remember what happened? I know there was something missing.
"I was asking you what just happened," The man asked. He wasn't someone who didn't care about this. He was serious, he wanted to know something. Something I didn't know if I had the answer to.
"I-I don't know, she was here. She was in front of me, I could see her." I didn't know what I was saying, I kept thinking of the puppet, why did she have those damn eyes.
"Who, a girl, what girl. I heard that my marionette moved. Start speaking straight. I can't get what you're trying to tell me." The man was stern, he focused my head for a moment, I got an ok feeling from him like he wasn't going to do anything. He was calm, rational and focused, unlike me.
"T-the puppet walked up to me and handed these to me" I show him my flowers, he looks at them and then looks back at me.
"A black poppy… You told me you saw somebody, a girl. Who was she, why are you saying things like this." The man was much more stern.
"I-I don't know, my head hurts, can you ask me later. I-I just remembered your daughter though. Something happened in the alleyway, then she was gone. Vanished. Please leave me alone, I think I need some space" I shuttered, some memories had appeared. Some I didn't even know. All I know is that I need to get away from the crowd and party.
The man covered his mouth, I didn't know why but that was what happened. He stood up, thanked me and wandered off, not before putting an out of order sign on the Puppets box. I got up before anybody could ask me anything. My head was spinning. I walked into the main hall, I looked left seeing the Security office empty. That's strange. Someone is supposed to be on duty at all times.
I walked over to the desk. A pink note was on it. It said, "Sorry Henry, gotta deal with a little problem real quick." I squinted at the note. My head started to hurt again, it was hot and it felt painful. Then it felt like De Ja Vu. I remembered something. But it was unfamiliar to me, I have never experienced this memory before, but it was so familiar. I was smaller, with yellow pigtails, and I had a sweet innocent voice. I was asking about my puppy. Was she alright? The man in front of me dressed in a suit. It was a Bedny The Bunny from Fredbears Pizza. The animatronic started to laugh. It scared me, but I wasn't scared. Because that girl wasn't me. He undressed from the suit, now in a fancy purple uniform. He pulled out a club or knife or something, then the memory ended.
I didn't know what just happened. Other than the fact that I just saw a murder. Someone's murder. But I'm alive, so it wasn't mine. This is too complicated, I need to go wash my face or something, I'm too tired for this.
I started to walk back into the hallway, the party in the second room ended, and a mother was still looking for her kid. I didn't care though. I wasn't sure what was happening so I didn't care. Not until I saw something way too interesting. A golden bunny, worn down. But there it was guiding a child. Off to somewhere. I read a sign on the door. It was employees only. Which didn't make sense? Then I remember the door, from the previous mentioned memory. The bunny was the purple guy. Leading the child to damn nation. I ran over to the door, but it was too late. The door was locked. I should go tell someone, but I don't think I could. I was just too intrigued. I hear a muffled argument. Something between the lines of "I found your dog" I think back to the memory. It is the same man. Seconds later I hear crying and fear, I don't know why but, I think I liked listening to it. It was wrong, I know but… Her howling was satisfying. She was probably one of the spoiled brats if he picked her. She probably had it coming. Next thing I know, I hear a scream, a haunting howling scream, of fear and fright. Then nothing.
I was Shaking, not because of what just happened though. I don't know why, but listening to her scream was so exciting. I liked the sound. It was the first feeling I had in months. A little part of me felt bad though. But I haven't been happy for years. Satisfied or not sad, but never happy. What the hell was wrong with me. I was so Happy I started laughing. It wasn't funny. It was horrendous. But I felt happy. I couldn't help myself. I dropped to the floor laughing. This was wrong I know, but it felt so right. My first emotion in so long. Emotions felt so good. But why?
I think the purple guy heard me though as he came through the door seeming curious. There in front of the door leaning on the wall was me hysteric with laughter. I think he thought he was caught as I saw him reach inside his jacket. All I could do though was laugh. I tried to raise my hand to stop him. But I couldn't stop…
Until I did, everything was empty all of a sudden, my party, this stupid restaurant, the murder. I stopped and straightened myself. I brushed off my shoulders and pants. Before looking at the man. He seemed confused about my sudden shift of mood. That was fine with me. "Forgive my moment there, I just couldn't help myself. The screams of the girl you just killed were so interesting."
I see a brief moment of hesitation in the man's face. Confusion I think. He was confused about what I had just said. Another person saw the deaths of innocent children. Funny? Was I mad or was he. Maybe both of us. I'm not sure.
"Yes, I heard you, I see why you make your entrances in there so dramatic. Their screams are addicting aren't they." I look at his eyes, they are a deep blue, peculiar. "You may be contemplating on whether or not you should kill me. I get it. But how 'bout me and you chat about what you're doing, and whether or not I can help you…. My mother is around the corner if you want to get in trouble. Tick Tock, get caught by everybody ending your crime spree, or me and you talk for a moment." I didn't know what I was saying. Or why I was saying it, but I was. I wanted to feel someone hurt again. It felt ok.
The Man looked at me before saying a word. His voice was interesting. It was deep and dark. But also deceiving. Like he was always trying to trick somebody. He looked at me with a wide grin. It frankly worried me. But like I said earlier, I don't care. He told me something that I think I expected, "Sure kid, how bout me and you step into the employee's room. Where it's nice and quiet.
I raise my eyebrow, either I looked younger than I was or he was stupid, but either way, I shook my head no, I just witnessed him murder a girl, a really young girl. "No, we're gonna talk at your desk. Don't think I'm stupid ok. Your desk is a wide-open space. I can feel safer there" I looked him down, before looking at the 35+ year old man. "Plus I can scream for help there. I won't end up like your friend back there… So, are we gonna talk about what just happened."
The man looked me up and down. He wasn't sure what to think right now. He was still experiencing the rush from killing that stupid girl. He still couldn't believe the dog thing still works. But he didn't have time to think about that right now. There was this kid in front of him who wanted to lure and kill kids with him. Maybe he got a rush from it too. Plus he could have connections with others. And this place did need a janitor, somebody who didn't mind seeing blood on the floor. "Fine kid, I think I may have a job offer for you. Though I don't know why you would want it. But legs go over to my desk over at the security desk." The man directed his hand over to down the hallway, trying to herd me over there first.
I obviously didn't trust him, after all, he did just kill a kid, and was likely the guy who killed all the others a few years ago. I think he could've killed Charlie now that I think about it. But I'm sure he had his reasons. Kids are terrible, they probably did something. Everyone is terrible really. Killing them off is fair, they don't suffer from this shitty world. In a way he saved them. That's not the point right now though I need to stay behind him, I'd rather not be his next victim. "No, you go first. I prefer not getting stabbed in the back honestly. I'm being literal in this case so go ahead." I pointed over to the desk, I was smart enough to not be tricked like that.
He walked down the hallway, looking left and right. Like he was watching for something, he was being careful as if he had enemies everywhere. Or he was looking for something. I think he found who he was looking for too, because he stopped in the middle of the hallway, with a sinister smile. I ran up to see the mother still there looking frantically. I felt a twinge of something. I smirked because I felt again. I don't know what feeling feels like anymore. I'm just happy I can. That I'm not doomed to an emotionless life, even if I hurt people in the process. I want to feel again.
After another moment we ended up in the security office. He pulled a chair up for me, and then sat down in his. I had a feeling he was going to ask me questions. So I got ready for them. Though he was unpredictable so I had to prepare for the worst. But the first question puzzled me. I mean it was reasonable I guess. He asked me if I was experienced at cleaning. I told him I knew how to clean away most things, yes. I wonder why he asked me that. I mean I think it makes sense, I suppose. He asked me several questions, like have I had a job before, I said no. Was I uncomfortable around throwup or feces? I told him I'm okay around small children if that was the question. He asked me my name. I told him what my name was. Then he asked me if I was of legal working age. I said I was 14. He told me to sign some papers and told me his name was William Afton. I suddenly knew who he was. He was the owner of the restaurant. That definitely piqued my interest.
After that, he told me I would start Monday as the janitor, and that we would talk then. I suppose that would have to do. He seemed to be rushing up to our conclusion. It was almost 10, so i suppose he needed to clean up the… kid in the employee's room. He told me he would see me later, hopefully, he won't back stab me. I got up, thanked him for his time and walked back towards my party room. I saw the woman still searching, it was annoying to see it here so I walked up to her.
I walked straight up to her, she was asking for her daughter, looking under tables and such. I felt that twinge of something else again. I smiled because of the feeling. Even if it lasted only a second. "Um ma'am I see you're looking for your daughter. I just wanted to let you know I saw several children playing near the door. Daring one another to go outside."
The woman looked at me. Her eyes expanded real big and she ran off outside without saying a word. I thought I would feel something again, but that was not so. I walked back to my party room. Almost everybody left. Everybody except my mother. Who looked at me, smiled, got up and started to walk towards the exit.
She looked down at me, I put on a smile. To make her feel better. "So hun did you enjoy your Birthday?"
I looked back at her and said, "Yeah, by the way, I got a job. So that's awesome." I looked back at the security office, with Mr. Afton, still sitting there. He smiled and nodded his security cap. I walked off out into the now raining world. This was a great way to start the year...
