Skylanders Academy Ragnarök
Chapter 1
3 months had passed since the Skylanders faced off against the Order. Live had more or less returned to normal for the Skylanders. Spyro and Stealth Elf had settled back into being Masters. But Spyro was worried about something, Stealth Elf has been acting weird for the last couple of days, and he had no idea why. The Skylanders missed there fellow Skylanders Hex and Skull. They got messages from her every week or so, she was enjoying it so far, she was working well to keep those spirits in check, they didn't wanna mess with her.
But today was a weird day in general, Spyro walked outside the Academy and looked up at the sky, the clouds were always dark for some reason, there was barely any sunlight, which was weird given it's the middle of Summer.
"that's weird, why has the skies been so dark lately" said Spyro.
Eruptor walked up alongside Spyro.
"I have no idea, it certainly is strange, I know the sunny days wouldn't last as long given the Core of Light was destroyed but it should be super bright right now" said Eruptor.
"no idea, it's probably nothing, have you seen Stealth Elf?" asked Spyro.
"she's down at the sparring arena putting some of the cadets through there paces" said Eruptor.
"thanks, Eruptor" said Spyro taking flight for the arena.
As Spyro got closer he could hear Stealth Elf shouting at the cadets.
"COME ON YOU MAGGOTS, PUSH IT, YOU WANNA BE SKYLANDERS YOU GOT TO BE THE BEST OF THE BEST" screamed Stealth Elf.
"She's always hot when she's mad" thought Spyro.
Spyro landed behind Stealth Elf.
"Hey Elfy" said Spyro.
"hey Spyro" said Stealth Elf without looking at him.
"can we talk?" asked Spyro.
Stealth Elf let out a sigh.
"sure, ALRIGHT YOU LOT, 20 LAPS I GOTTA GO TALK WITH MASTER SPYRO FOR A MINUTE" said Stealth Elf.
The two of them stepped away from the cadets to talk in private.
"I wanted to ask if your okay" said Spyro.
"yeah I'm fine" said Stealth Elf.
"Elfy sweetie, you can't lie to me, something's up with you, you're getting up in the night multiple times and you seem to be avoiding me" said Spyro.
"I just haven't been feeling well and got some stuff on my mind" said Stealth Elf.
"hey, you know you can talk to me right, I'm your crazy talented and hot husband" said Spyro.
"yeah I know, you're always there for me" laughed Stealth Elf.
"right, so just remember that" said Spyro.
"I will, love you" said Stealth Elf.
"love you too, now I gotta introduce the new Skylander" said Spyro.
"okay good luck, hopefully the team will like the new recruit" said Stealth Elf.
Stealth Elf returned to yelling at the cadets as Spyro took flight and returned to their office. The other Skylanders were going to be here soon. Spyro went about doing some paperwork at the desk to pass the time. After about half an hour there was a knock at the door.
"come in" said Spyro.
The door opened and in walked Vesta, Raider, Ouro and Cynder.
"hey Master Spyro, is there a problem you called us here?" asked Ouro.
"no, no problem, just needed to talk" said Spyro walking away from the desk.
"so, what's up Master Spyro?" asked Vesta.
"since Hex has left the team, it has come to our attention that your group is missing a member, so me and Master Stealth Elf have decided to bring a new cadet in as a Skylander to join your team" said Spyro.
"oh, really" said Cynder.
"yes, I know you all miss Hex, but you do need another member so we found one, she should be here any second now, I'm hoping you all welcome her to your team" said Spyro.
"oh, it's a girl, interesting" said Cynder.
"great, so I'm still the only guy on this team, yay" said Raider sarcastically.
Spyro let out a chuckle.
"sorry Raider" said Spyro.
"nah it's fine, but it would be nice to have someone to have a bro talk with" said Raider.
"well you got Pop-Fizz or Eruptor" said Spyro.
"they're all teachers though, not Skylanders or cadets" said Raider.
"that's true" said Spyro.
There was another knock on the door.
"ah, here she is, meet your new team mate" said Spyro.
The door opened and in walked a water dragon, her entire body from head to tail was webbed. She had two horns one on each side of her head and a set of fins sticking up and running down her spine (I can't remember what those are called).
"this is Echo, she will be your new team mate" said Spyro.
"hi" said Echo loudly.
Echo spoke with a loud voice, not yelling just loud. The other Skylanders were taken aback slightly.
"hello umm, I'm Cynder" said Cynder.
"Hello Cynder, I'm Echo" said Echo.
"I'm Raider" said Raider.
"I'm Vesta pleasure to meet you" said Vesta.
"I'm Ouro" said Ouro.
"nice to meet you all, so I'm gonna be working with you guys, well I can say I'm looking forward to stomping some bad guys with you" said Echo.
"so, what can you do?" asked Raider.
Echo let out a chuckle and opened her mouth, she let out a siren scream, the blast of sound was enough to send Raider flying back into the wall behind him, she didn't use a lot of force, so he wasn't hurt. Raider collided with the wall, stunned for a second.
"I like her" said Raider as he stretched his body out, he felt that impact.
"sorry, sorry, sorry" said Echo.
"don't apologise, that was cool" said Raider cracking his back.
The Skylanders laughed as Raider finished off cracking his back.
Spyro turned to see he was getting a message from Snap Shot, he pushed a button on his phone and Snap Shot's voice came through.
"Hey Snap Shot, it's Spyro, what's up?" asked Spyro.
"the prisoner you brought here, Archebald was it, he's been causing a lot of problems, been demanding to speak to you, we keep putting him in the hole and zapping him, but he won't give up, is there any chance you can come speak to him and get him to shut up" said Snap Shot.
"umm, okay, set us up in a room, don't forget the draining shackles, we don't want any escape attempts, I'll be there in a minute" said Spyro.
"hey Skylanders, can one of you go speak to Stealth Elf, tell her I'm going to Cloudcracker Prison" said Spyro.
"sure" said Ouro.
Spyro dropped down out of the office and took flight towards Cloudcracker Prison.
At Cloudcracker Prison
After about twenty minutes Spyro arrived at the prison, there was a guard outside waiting for him.
"hello Spyro, Snap Shot has the prisoner set up to talk, I'll take you there follow me" said the Guard.
"thanks" said Spyro.
Spyro walked through the halls of the Prison, it was surprisingly quiet.
"why is it so quiet?" asked Spyro.
"most of the prisoners are in the hole, that Ouroboro guy tried to lead a prison riot, it didn't work, here we are" said the guard pointing to a door.
Spyro entered the room and saw Archebald with a pair of shackles around his arms and another set chaining him a table. Archebald was sitting on a chair with his arms leaning on a table.
"ah, Spyro you're here, excellent" said Archebald.
"yes, apparently shouting a lot is a way to get what you want" said Spyro.
"I'll leave you two alone, I'm right outside" said Snap Shot.
"okay, I should be fine" said Spyro.
Snap Shot exited the room shutting the door as he left. Spyro grabbed a second chair on the other side of the table and sat down.
"so, what did you want to talk about" said Spyro.
"it's coming, the threat is coming" said Archebald.
"it's been 3 months at this point I'd say you're wrong" said Spyro.
"you fool, you ruined my chances before and now you'll reap what you sow" said Archebald.
"if you're not gonna start talking sense, then I'm out of here" said Spyro.
"it's already begun" said Archebald.
"what has?" asked Spyro,
"the end, of everything" said Archebald.
"talk, or I walk" said Spyro.
"the skies are getting darker aren't they, I haven't gotten a lot of looks at the outside, since I've been in and out of the hole so much" said Archebald.
"it has, you know what's causing it then" said Spyro.
"yes, you might want to get comfortable it's a bit of a story" said Archebald.
"fine, then start talking" said Spyro.
"on one condition" said Archebald.
"you are in no position to negotiate" said Spyro.
"i am, given I'm the only one who knows what's coming" said Archebald.
"no deal, I'm out of here" said Spyro.
Spyro got up and walked towards the door.
"fine dammit, can't blame a guy for trying" said Archebald.
"now talk, what is this threat" said Spyro.
"okay" said Archebald.
