Adventure Bay is known as the home of the PAW Patrol, but do you know its history?
Adventure Bay was founded as Goodsville on March 30th, 1904 by Grover Goodway, who was the town's first mayor and the great-grandfather of the current mayor of Adventure Bay, Jessica Goodway. It started out as a town of a few people, but soon became a boomtown in Queens, New York, USA, filled with not only White Americans and African-Americans, but also emigrants, especially from El Salvador, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Poland, Germany, France, and the UK since April 5th, 1904. On October 20th, 1913, when Barkingburg was founded by Grover Goodway's brother William and the King and Queen of England, the Queen met Grover and she told him about Barkingburg and asked him to help make Barkingburg a boomtown, only if he would let Adventure Bay be a British colony, despite that it was an American city in Queens, New York. He agreed, not because he didn't want to upset her, but also he wanted William to be as famous as him. Therefore, Barkingburg became a boomtown and Adventure Bay became very popular for helping with the founding of Barkingburg. On November 9th, 1964, Nicholas Krushenik came to visit Adventure Bay from the Soviet Union. He met and the current president of the USA at the time met the current mayor of Adventure Bay, Benjamin Reynolds. Krushenik wanted to make Adventure Bay and Barkingburg Soviet colonies, but the president of the US was worried about it, but the UK solved the problem, but requesting the Soviet Union and the USA to share Adventure Bay and Barkingburg. Since November 14th, 1964, people have been emigrating from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan to Adventure Bay and Barkingburg. From 1964 to 1991, Adventure Bay was a owned by the USA, the UK, and the Soviet Union, despite that Barkingburg is still an American and British colony. Today, Adventure Bay is remembered for its famous 100-year-old bell at its town hall, its beautiful beach named Adventure Beach, and of course, the PAW Patrol, who always help to save the day!
