At the Ghoul School

It's the end of first grade and Tanis lets Darla come with her to the Ghoul School for the summer, but Darla is one of the only humans, and not everyone seems to like her.

1. Summer Camp?

Darla and Tanya were riding the bus home. It was the last day of first grade and Tanya was going to play at Darla's house. Soon they got home.

"Hi mom! I'm home, and Tanya's here too!" Darla said as they walked in.

"Hi Darla! Hi Tanya! You can transform, I'll keep it a secret." Shirley said kindly. She found out Tanya was a mummy.

Okay." Tanya nodded and turned into a mummy.

"Miss Temple, I have to ask you something." Tanis said. Darla was confused.

"Yes?" Shirley asked.

"During Summer, I go to a school for Ghouls like me! I was wondering...can Darla come with me? Just for a week?" Tanis asked and started sucking her thumb.

Darla's eyes lit up. "So like a Summer camp?! But for monsters?!" She asked. Tanis nodded. The girls looked at Shirley.

"I guess it's okay...she's just staying for a week." She said.

"Yay!" The girls cheered.

"The bus arrives on Monday. I'll let Miss Grimwood know a human is coming!" Tanis said.
