Toy Soldier
Castiel gasped when he found himself changed back to his normal self, finding himself in a large room with the dagger in his hand. He blinked and looked around, with the boy not only gone; but this was the hotel room, and there stood Sam and Dean. The look on Dean's face told him that he was furious, and that was when the flames surrounded him. "Dean...Let me out."
"I'm thinking no." Dean turned to his brother. "Sam, go and get us some food," he said in a tone that brooked no argument.
"But Dean…" Sam saw the look in his brother's eyes, and recognised it. With a sigh, he decided not to argue; and nodded. "I'll be back…later." He quickly left the motel room, closing the door behind him and really hoping that he had misread the look on Dean's face.
Castiel blinked, looking at Dean before watching Sam leaving them alone. He then gulped a little nervously, knowing that look; having seen that the first time he had been in trouble. He raised his hands in front of him with wide dark eyes. "Whoa...Dean...You knew it needed to be done and still does. The boy is dangerous."
"He's taken himself off somewhere where the angels and demons can't find him," Dean replied. "You knew he was dangerous, and still went after him? Have you lost your mind, Cass?!"
"I did what had to be done, Dean. He is going to kill the heavenly host and you know it. He needs to be stopped before he is a threat and found by Lucifer. He will be turned and we can't stop that unless we kill him now. It is already written," the angel tried to reason; knowing that Dean was angry - already squirming a little in the circle.
"Just like it's written that I'm going to accept Michael taking me?" Dean demanded, a hard edge to his tone. "Free will, Cass. You can't kill someone just because of what they 'might' do. Already learned that."
Cass opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. He then closed his mouth so that he wasn't going to look like a guppy trying to come up with something. "What if you're wrong, Dean?" the angel argued, and sighed. "Um, are you going to let me go?"
"I wouldn't be in such a hurry to get out of there if I were you," Dean said ominously.
"So you are planning to leave me here all night? Really, Dean, that doesn't sound like you...well yeah; actually, it does when you're mad."
"I'll let you out - as soon as you realise just how stupid and dangerous your actions were," Dean replied. "The kid turned you into an action figure...could have been a lot worse, and you know that."
"I had to take the risk, Dean. The kid was dangerous and you know that. I couldn't just sit here and let Lucifer get to him. He would be the end of us all."
"He put everyone who was alive back to normal as soon as he realised what happened. That kid's not gonna let any demons or angels near him." Dean looked sternly at Castiel. "You were going to kill a kid, and you put yourself in danger. Two good reasons for a spanking, I think."
Castiel blinked and gulped a little, looking at Dean nervously. "I...ah...whoa, wait a minute, Dean...a spanking? This is one of your jokes that I don't understand, right? I may not get your sense of humor, but I don't find it amusing."
"Do I look like I'm joking, Castiel?" Dean asked, using the angel's full name - as he normally did when Castiel was in big trouble.
Cass gulped and knew that he was in trouble hearing his full name from Dean's soft lips. The angel began to wish that he could teleport out of that room and out of a spanking. He had been spanked before, and didn't like it at all; not wanting a repeat performance like other ones he'd gone through. "No, I don't think you are joking, Dean - but a spanking? Are you seriously telling me that you plan to spank me again?"
"I'm thinking you've got two major lessons to learn here." Dean ticked off on his fingers. "One - you don't try to kill someone just because they 'might' turn evil. Two - and more importantly - you don't go rushing into a situation you know is dangerous. So I am seriously telling you that I'm going to be spanking you again - and it's going to be bad."
"You are seriously planning to spank an angel of the lord?" Cass asked, and then shifted a little nervously. "Well, again?" He squirmed a little, knowing that Dean had done this more than once; but there was no way he wanted to be spanked again.
"No, Cass...I am seriously planning to spank my boyfriend, before you screw up even more and get yourself badly hurt."
"Well in that case, I should mention the fact that you do exactly the same thing you plan to spank me for. You risk yourself on a daily basis, as I recall."
"Double standards. Gotta love them." Dean raised his eyebrows. "You already got kicked back to heaven once. That's not happening again."
"But I did come back; and I'm not human like you are. Well, half human I suppose."
"We're not talking about me right now," Dean said. "It's your behaviour we need to deal with. It's not like Sam and I didn't tell you not to go after the kid."
The angel had to agree with that logic and sighed, sitting down in the circle of holy oil. "I suppose you are right. You both did warn me not to go after the boy, but I couldn't just let it happen. I couldn't let my brothers and sisters die because we failed to act. Because I failed to kill the antichrist."
"Cass..." Dean sighed, and stepped forward. "I know you were trying to do the right thing here. But it was still stupid and dangerous. And that kid understands the danger now. He knows what's at stake. He made his choice - and if he doesn't use his powers, the demons won't be able to find him."
"But he could have killed you, Dean. You have died so many times already, and I'm scared that you won't come back either," Cass said in a low voice, looking at his folded hands. "I love you, Dean, and I am not exactly in with the family."
"Cass..." Dean hesitated, but then continued, "I don't know what sort of powers an antichrist has, but I get the feeling he could probably have killed you as well; if he didn't decide to be good. Or sent you back to heaven again - where there are a whole load of angels probably waiting to get a piece of you. I don't want that to happen."
"Yeah, I've been pretty much a pain in their backsides as it were," Cass replied with a sigh, and remained seated in the circle. "I can't lose you either, Dean."
Dean was silent for a few moments, and then spoke. "You're not going to fight me if I let you out of the circle?"
"Have I fought you before?" Cass asked, and then frowned. "Scratch that. I have fought you before, numerous times; but I do have the feeling that it'll only go worse, like the other times."
"Yes or no, Cass?"
The angel sighed and remained sitting in the circle. "No. I won't fight you this time, Dean."
Dean put out the fire, and then stepped over to Castiel's side, pulling the angel to his feet - though not forcefully.
Cass didn't bother to fight his boyfriend or charge when he was helped to stand up. He then gulped a little. "How bad exactly?"
"You're getting the belt, Cass." Dean sat down on the bed, pulling Castiel to stand in front of him.
"The belt? You cannot be serious, Dean." Cass gulped, wanting to bolt; but didn't with a sigh, knowing his butt was in for it this time. "You had better make this feel better afterwards, Dean; or so help me my father, I will not be a happy Angel."
"Why do you think I told Sam to leave?" Dean gave a slight grin, but then concentrated on removing Castiel's pants and underwear.
"I...I thought it was um because you were going to spank me," the angel admitted, feeling his pants and underwear being removed after his trench coat was taken off. He then had the feeling this would be a long night.
"Well, that too." Dean used his grip on Castiel to pull the angel across his knees.
"Ophh! Um, must we, you know do this with the belt, Dean?"
"I told you, Cass. You did two things wrong, and I'm gonna make sure you remember this."
Cass whimpered a little, and had the feeling his butt was doomed. "I'm sorry, Dean."
"I'm sure you are...but only cause you're about to get spanked."
"Well, that and because I hurt you."
"Well, when I get through with you, you'll definitely be thinking twice before you act," Dean promised - before he brought his hand down hard.
"Ohh oww! Dean, go easy; that is tender."
"I'm thinking this is exactly how it should be." Dean continued to spank Castiel's bare bottom.
Cass just squirmed a little, wanting the spanking to end. "Oww...Dean...Gah!"
"I expect you to listen to me when I tell you something's too dangerous. You're cut off from heaven, Cass. You're not all-powerful anymore." Dean continued to spank the angel.
The said angel was definitely not very happy right now, with his bottom quickly turning from white to bright red, tears beginning to fall even though he hated to cry.
Dean finally paused, resting his hand on Castiel's back. "You need to stand up a moment."
"Why? Are we done?"
"No. I need to take off my belt."
Cass wished he had not asked that, or gotten the answer right then, knowing where the belt would be applied to. Having no choice in the matter really, considering he was cut off from Heaven, the angel got up with a pout. "I really don't need the belt, you know."
"Yeah, I didn't listen when Sam tried to tell me that when we were younger either. You were disobedient and put yourself in danger, and now you're paying the price, Cass."
"But it really hurts, and I don't want the belt."
"You're not supposed to want it. That's why it's a punishment." Dean took off his belt.
Cass wanted to back up, and tried to; only to land back hard onto his butt with a loud yelp. His sore backside hit the hard wooden floor, with his pants down on his ankles. "Ahhh! Owww!"
Dean stood up, and stepped over to help Castiel up, looking sternly at the angel. "How many times do you want me to say it, Cass? I don't want anything to happen to you." He gave the arm he held a slight shake.
Cass grunted a little at the hard slight shake, looking at Dean. He then sighed and looked down. "Yes, I know; and I am sorry..."
"You're going to stop resisting me, then?"
"Do I have a choice?"
"Not if you want our relationship to continue."
Cass shook his head, obviously hurt by that. "That is not fair."
"Do you think this is fair, Cass?" Dean asked. "The way you're acting right now is not helping. And, yeah, the same is true for me; I know. But even so...If I die, my soul will at least continue on, even in hell. Can I say the same for yours?"
"I rebelled, Dean, and don't know where I am going when I die again," Cass said softly. "But I am sorry, and can't lose you. I will cooperate; but this is not fair at all, and what you've just said hurt me."
Dean sighed, and let his hand drift over the angel's shoulder. "Okay, that wasn't fair...and I didn't mean it. I'm sorry for that, Cass."
Cass didn't bother to answer that, and just nodded. "Just get this over with, Dean."
Dean lightly squeezed Castiel's shoulder, and then led him over to the bed once more.
The angel was still really hurt, and let Dean lead him back to the bed to finish this. He then gulped, bending over the end of the bed, expecting that this was supposed to be the way Dean wanted him. "Finish it."
Dean hesitated briefly, unwilling to continue with this when he knew that Castiel was hurting. He didn't pick up the belt; instead pulling the angel into an embrace.
Cass stiffened, expecting to be belted; only to find himself being held, actually squirming to get out of it. "Just finish this, Dean."
"Not like this, Cass. Not with you hurting from what I said." Dean didn't let him go. He'd got a lot better with the physical contact thing, and hardly felt awkward at all.
"I said just finish it! I don't want to talk about what you said right now. I just want it done!"
"And make you even more mad and hurt? That's not gonna happen, Cass. I'm sorry for what I said. I was mad, but it's still not an excuse. I'm not gonna break up with you. Ever."
"Well, you have told me differently if I didn't stop fighting you. I just want this spanking finished, and I am not in the mood for sorries."
"Cass, humans aren't perfect," Dean said seriously. "I say things I don't mean a lot; which, yeah, I need to work on. But you need to give me the chance to."
"Not right now I don't. You are the one that said you wanted to break up with me, and that really hurt me. I want you to finish this and then leave me alone."
"Dammit, Cass...I don't want to break up with you. And I'm not leaving you alone."
"Very well, I love you; and yes, it did hurt me. You don't have to leave me alone, but we need to finish this."
"Not right now if you're still upset, Cass." Dean continued to hold him. "I love you too...and I am sorry."
"I just want it done, Dean. I mean that I want you to finish it now. I get that you're sorry; but right now, I can't deal. I just want the punishment to be over with."
"Isn't it just gonna make you feel worse?"
"Well, it's supposed to hurt, Dean, as you said; and I'll forgive you."
"You sure, Cass?" Dean slowly loosened his hold.
"We both know I will want this over with later on, Dean. As long as you hold me after and make me feel better, I'll forgive you later on; but we need to finish this before it festers. Can you honestly say that you can forgive me without finishing it?"
"I guess not," Dean admitted. "I'll make you feel better after, I promise."
"You had better, because this is really going to hurt like hell."
"I will." Dean let go of him. "Over the bed or over my lap?"
Cass blinked, looking surprised. "I...I thought I was supposed to be over the bed...didn't know you wanted me um over your lap."
Dean shrugged. "There's more room to move with you over the bed...but we're closer if you're over my lap. So which?"
"I don't know...I just want you to hold me."
"While I'm using the belt?"
"Well, over your lap so you can have me close at least...please..."
Dean nodded, and sat on the bed, pulling Castiel gently over his lap before picking up the belt.
Castiel whimpered when he was once again looking at the floor, his body stiff from the fear of knowing how much this was going to hurt. He shut his eyes and gulped, balling his hands into fists so he didn't bolt.
Dean slipped his arm around Castiel's waist, for the contact as much as restraint, and brought the belt down on his bare bottom.
Cass let out a yelp with wide eyes when he felt the sharp stinging contact of the hard, unforgiving leather belt. "Ow!"
Dean continued to bring the belt down, a good dozen times.
Castiel continued to squirm and cry out, soon sobbing hard with the belt burning his poor bare bottom. "Aghh...Dean! Ow...S...Sorry!"
"I know." Dean finally stopped, and pulled Castiel into another tight embrace.
Cass sobbed hard in Dean's loving arms. "I love you...Please forgive me...I'm sorry..."
"Love you too, Cass...and definitely forgive you." Dean held him tightly.
"Are you still mine, Dean?"
Dean nodded. "Yours, Cass...like you're mine." He kissed his angel boyfriend.
"Better hope so; but if you ever do that to me again, I will beat you up and bend you over my lap, got it?"
"Yeah, Cass...But I won't be doing that again, believe me."
"I believe you, and love you so much. I want you to hold me, please."
"Doing that right now," Dean pointed out, tightening his arms a little.
"Yes you are, Dean," Cass replied with a sheepish smile, sniffling a little bit. "Do you still want me?"
"I still want you, Cass." Dean kissed him again. "I still love you."
Cass returned the kiss, never wanting to be away from the human that he pulled out from Hell. "I love you, and want you to love me."
"I do, Cass. I am sorry for what I said."
"I forgive you; but what I am asking is for you to do to me what um Angels don't really do."
Dean gave a quick grin. "Oh, you mean sex?"
"Well, if you would like to call it that, yes." Cass blushed a little nervously, knowing that they hadn't had sex really yet; but he wanted full on sex now. They had been intimate, but Dean had yet to take his virginity - and the angel wanted to belong to the hunter.
"You sure, Cass? We can wait still."
"I..want you, Dean...I know we haven't yet; but want sex with you."
"All right, Cass. I should call Sam, though, and let him know he needs to stay away a bit longer."
"I know I want you; and don't want to wait. I also don't know if we are ready, but we can hold each other and see what happens?"
Dean nodded. "Might be easier if this comes off first, though." He tugged on Castiel's shirt.
Cass blushed, feeling his shirt being removed, leaving him completely naked. He then looked at Dean. "Now this is not fair. You are clothed, Dean."
Dean grinned. "Want to help me here?"
"Well I suppose I could help you." Cass gently removed Dean's clothing and began to kiss him. "And by the way, my butt is killing me. Doubt my vessel would have liked that spanking any more than I did."
Dean raised his eyebrows, and returned the kiss, also kissing Castiel's neck and shoulder. "Yeah, well, a spanking is supposed to hurt. And thought you could put your vessel to sleep?"
"I did put him to sleep, yes; but just had that thought in my head that he might be glad he is sleeping." Cass blushed a little, wrapped in his lover's arms. "I am glad I brought you out of Hell."
"Me too, Cass...Though I guess getting pulled out of hell by an angel I've now fallen for shows just how screwed up my life's become...but I wouldn't change meeting you."
"Well guess I am just as screwed up as you are then, falling for a human."
"You pulled me out of hell, Cass...and you rebelled against heaven because I asked you to. Can't see any other way this would have played out."
"I keep getting worried that one day I will lose my powers completely and be useless in the fight. I love you, Dean, and I think we were in a way destined to be together."
"I don't know about that, Cass...Not sure I trust destiny. But we're together, and I don't really care how or why."
"True, and not planning to leave you ever; but will you still love me if I lose all my powers?"
"Cass, I didn't fall for you because of your powers."
"I am just worried. I feel my powers fading a little, and hope I can help you in the fight against Lucifer."
"We'll all do our best against Lucifer," Dean replied - and kissed Castiel.
"Mmm, I know we will. We can't lose, Dean, with the world depending on us; but right now, I just want to be with you."
"Yeah, me too." Dean kissed him again.
"You are beautiful, you know that?"
"I'd say the same, but haven't seen your true appearance...and as attractive as your vessel is, it's not what you really look like. Then again...when you got kicked back to heaven, I felt no attraction towards him."
"Really? You didn't feel anything for my vessel? You like just me, Dean? That is kind of a relief; and would show you, but worried about burning your eyes out."
"Yeah, I kind of like my eyes the way they are," Dean replied. "And, yeah, it's you I like...I guess no matter what form you wear."
"I like the way you look too; and wouldn't change you either."
"Gotta admit, I am one handsome d...er, guy."
Cass chuckled at that and kissed his boyfriend. "Yes, you are; but I also love what is in here." He gently placed a hand over where Dean's heart was. "And here," he added, placing that same hand to his boyfriend's head. "You keep surprising me at every turn, you know?"
"What, like how I surprised you when you went over my knee that first time?" Dean grinned, covering Castiel's hand with his.
"Oh yes, that surprised me alright; and I was a little shocked about getting a spanking. I never expected that one - but you loved me then and still do."
"You can count on that, Cass," Dean said seriously.
"You mean another spanking if I step out of line?"
"Well, I was talking about the loving thing...but that too."
"Love you too, Dean; and you will always have me."
"I'll definitely make sure of that."
Cass smiled and lay in his lover's arms and felt loved. "Mmm...hate to ruin the moment, but I am kind of tired. I think I am a little weak from facing the boy."
"Then you need to rest, Cass...I'll stay with you."
The angel closed his eyes, letting his body rest, knowing that he was loved completely; but also knew that if he messed up, Dean would spank his butt again.
Dean held Castiel tightly, and thought about calling Sam to warn him...but then figured, after making sure they were both covered, his brother could just deal with the sight. He finally let himself drift into sleep.
