one day in Inkwell Hell King Dice wanted to entertain the cup trio by something but he couldn't find out what he could entertain them with.
then after a few hours, he started to have an idea! "Hot Dawg, I got an idea!" said King Dice "maybe I can entertain Cupface, Mugboy, and Mrs. Chalice with a band performance!maybe everyone in Inkwell Isle can play some musical instruments!" however there was a problem, the townsfolk didn't know how to play musical instruments, but then King Dice thought to himself "What if I were to help them play instruments?" so that evening King Dice decided to invite everyone from all 3 Isles to come and play some musical instruments.
everyone except the cup trio because he wanted to keep this a surprise, so King Dice went to Cuphead's house and said "Hey Cupface! I just wanted to say this, can you not come to the Casino for tonight?" "Eh, whatever. we have to help Chalice with something" replied Cuphead "Hello Mr. King Dice, I broke my butt" replied Ms. Chalice "It's true she did" Mugman replied.
so when King Dice returned to the Casino all of his formal debtors were here "Ah yes, I brought you all here today cause I need you all to play me some music so I can entertain Cupface, Mugboy, and Mrs. Chalice!" Said King Dice "It's Cuphead, Mugman, and Ms. Chalice, those names you said aren't correct at all" Werner Werman replied "I don't care! ok, how about we ask some questions before we play?" said King Dice.
"so, does anyone have a question?" said King Dice "is chocolate an instrument?" Baroness replied "no Baroness, chocolate is not an instrument" King Dice replied "anyways, let's play some music! let's begin with a one, two, a one, two, three, four!" said King Dice, the debtors then played their musical instruments but it sounded really bad and the timings for each instrument were off but then he thought of a theory!
"everybody! I have a theory; people talk loud when they want to act smart. so maybe if we play loudly, the cup trio will think we're good! everybody ready?" said King Dice, the debtors then said "ready!" "and a one, and a two, and a one, two, three, four!" said King Dice, back at Cuphead's house Cuphead said, "there you go big sister, your butt is all fixed!" "Thanks, Lil bro!" Ms. Chalice replied, and then a loud noise began interrupting the trio and it sounded really bad!
once the loud noise stopped "It came from the Casino!" said Mugman, so then the cup trio went to the Casino to see what that noise was.
back at the Casino, the place was a broken mess thanks to the loud noise!
"Okay new theory; maybe we should play so quietly, the cup trio wouldn't hear us..." said King Dice "Well, maybe we wouldn't sound so bad if some people didn't try to play with long, pink, fingers!" Beppi replied, "What did you say, clown?!" Baroness replied "LONG, PINK, FINGERS!" Beppi replied, everyone started arguing and then they started fighting!
King Dice yells at the debtors to stop fighting but it didn't help, everyone continued fighting!
King Dice then screams "STOP!" and then the debtors stopped fighting, but King Dice was sad.
"everyone, You took my one chance at redeeming myself and crushed it! crushed it into little tiny bite-size pieces! I really had expected better of you people. I guess I'm a loser for that!" said King Dice, King Dice then walks out of the Casino crying.
after King Dice leaves the cup trio enters the Casino and Cuphead yells "WOAH! What happened here?!" "long story short, we had to play musical instruments to entertain you guys." the debtors replied "huh, so that's what the loud noise was. but I can help you guys and gals play these instruments!" said Cuphead "you can? but how?" said the debtors, Cuphead then explains "my Elder Kettle taught me how to play music when I was young!" Sally Stageplay then said "wow, your Elder Kettle taught you everything..." "he sure did!" said Cuphead.
so the debtors got their musical instrument and followed Cuphead, Mugman, and Ms. Chalice's steps!
the next morning King Dice was still sad, he went back to the Casino but Cuphead came to King Dice and said "hey Mr. King Dice! golly what a night, right? "well, it didn't go well for me Cupface." King Dice replied "last night I got everyone in Inkwell Isle to play musical instru-" Cuphead then stops Dice right there "I know King Dice, you wanted to impress me, my bro, and my sis with a musical performance." "wait how did you know?" King Dice replied "I just want you to put this blindfold on! said Cuphead. King Dice then puts on the blindfold "come on, come on, follow the sound of my voice!" said Cuphead. King Dice proceeds to follow Cuphead and then they go to a stage "okay, take off your blindfold!" said Cuphead. King Dice then takes off his blindfold and then he gasps!
"hi King Dice!" said the debtors "my band!" said King Dice "surprise!" yelled Cuphead. King Dice was shocked that his debtors were all here with their musical instruments "but, how?" King Dice said he was confused "I taught them how to play the instruments!" "Really, wow thanks!" said King Dice, but he was still scared that everything would go wrong like what happened last night, Cuphead then told Mugman and Ms. Chalice to come and see the performance, so King Dice had no choice but to do the performance "okay (gulp) let's get this over with, one..two...three...four!" said King Dice, then the debtors played William Tell Overture Finale and it sounded perfect!
after they finished performing the song, the cup trio surprisingly loved it!
"whoo!" "beautiful!" "Bravo!" said the cup trio, and indeed they loved it! "Cupface, you truly helped me from making such bad music for you to not enjoy! thanks!" said King Dice "you're welcome Mr. King Dice!" today was truly the best day of King Dice's life!
