Duel Acdademy Entrance Exam Location:
The powerful sound of a roaring engine was heard as a modified ZX 12R Kawasaki Ninja. The rider outfit consisted of a long sleeved black jacket with a fur collar over a sleeveless Grey shirt with a chain connected to a red four pointed star shaped pendent with a blue diamond in the middle was show. He also wore white gloves that stopped just below his elbow with a metallic blue shaped gauntlet with a deck slot on top. His lower body consisted of blue jeans with two deck holsters on his waist and black calf high motorcycle boots(1). Sliding up the visor on his helmet revealing piercing silver eyes, he looked at the building longing.
"Well this is it." Dismounting from the bike, the rider took of his helmet to reveal a 16 year old teenager with tan brown skin, ebony black hair pulled into a neck length ponytail with two bangs framing his face. He also had an X shaped mark on his left cheek.
Duel Academy:
"OK, I guess that was the last late examinee" A lady in a business dress said at the front. "Excuse me miss." The lady turned towards the young man.
"My name is Kyle Tenjo, and I was told to come here to take the duel portion of the entrance exam. The other location I was at said they were going to call ahead to let you guys know I was on my way." Kyle said.
"Hm, Yes we did get a call from our other location about a potential duelist. I'm guessing that it is you young man." The woman said checking through the computer. "Unfortunately the most of the other duel exam proctors have left."
"Oh hell, are your sure there isn't anyone here that I can't duel." Kyle asked running his hand through his hair in exasperation. "I mean it isn't like I was late or anything. The other location just didn't have enough proctors for me to take the dueling portion." "Dammit Kaiba."
"Yes, it seems that was the case and we can't fortunately fault you for that. We're truly sorry for that" She said with genuinely.
"Excuse me Linda but is there a problem here." Came Germanic male voice from behind. He was tall around 200 (6' 2'') cm in height with an outfit that consisted of a white shirt, black pants belt and a necktie. He had long black hair pulled back into a ponytail. The weird part though were that his eyes were closed behind a pair of square framed glasses yet he could somehow still see and walk while also carrying a cat.
"Yes this young man here has just arrived from one of our other testing facilities were they unfortunately didn't have enough proctors for the dueling portion. I have his paper work right here." The woman Linda stated. Humming in thought. Linda's college looked over the computer screen.
"Yes, everything seems to be in order. So what seems to be the problem." the gentleman asked
"Well I believe all the other exam proctors have left for the day and there isn't anybody for him to duel." Linda said worriedly.
"Ah, yes I believe so but Professor Medici is still here and just dueled at late applicant. I believe I will be able to convince to another duel. After all this young man isn't late, just needs to have a quick duel." The college stated.
"Of course if you say so let me just finish right here." Linda said while quickly typing the form. "And your all set. Good luck hon."
"Thank you miss and you to sir." Kyle said while bowing politely.
"Ho ho, don't thank me just yet young man. You still have to pass your entrance duel if you can." the worker stated somehow even with his eyes closed, Kyle could of sworn that somehow stilled gleamed mischievously as he walked away. Kyle's eyes glowed ominously as a growl was heard.
"I know my friend they and everyone here will soon know thos King's might" Kyle said while he was walking his shadow seemed to take on the appearance of a winged dragon.
Duel Academy Teacher Lounge.
A tall middle aged man with long blonde hair sectioned into two layers with rest pulled into a ponytail. He had effeminate feature wearing what appeared to be purple lipstick and crescent shaped earrings. Was were one Chronos Crowler, Head professor and chairman of technique at the illustrious Duel Academy, Headmaster of The exclusive Obelisk Blue dormitory, and proud holder of not one but TWO PhD's in dueling (And stroker of his and everything Obelisk blue ego) was fuming over his recent lost to an applicant that was not only late of all things but also beat him (HIM) with Chronos using his own personal deck. He just couldn't fathom how he of all people could lose to that, that boy. A child barely into his teenage years beat him with a bunch of cards the childish by any means. Not to mention he dare imply that Chronos didn't everything there was to know about dueling (Did he also mention that he had two PhD's in dueling.) by using that Winged Kuriboh effect with his Elemental Heroes. Jaden Yuki he will rue the day he ever crossed Doctor Chronos Crowler he would be sure of that. He was interrupted from his inner monologuing by the sound of the door opening.
"Ah Doctor Medici good your still here. I have a request to ask of you." The German voice from earlier stated.
"Hm, yes how can I help Banner." Vellain replied.
"Yes it seems we have a potential student that just arrived. He wasn't late mind you but was transferred over from one of our other testing facilities." Banner said while petting his cat.
"Pray to tell why was he transferred over here?" Chronos asked with his arms crossed over his chest with a tick mark forming on his forehead.
"It seems that the other location ran out of duel proctors. So they sent him here just as we were finishing up" Banner replied while sitting down.
"And why should I, I mean we take in this applicant. You know how I feel about punctuality." Chronos released a sigh that he didn't know he was holding in.
"Well this young man already completed the written portion he just needs to take the dueling part." Banner said "It was decided that you would get duel this young man and see if would make the cut. If he wins he stay's but is placed in Slifer Red, but if he doesn't he has to he's shift back of to the main land"
Thinking it over for a few minutes Chronos decided why not it would allow him to release some frustration that was building from his duel with Jaden. "At least this way I can make sure won't be anymore dead weight coming to MY school." Chronos though with a smirk appearing on his face before schooled his features.
"Very well Banner, I'll duel this potential." Chronos stated getting up and walking over to his dueling vest. "But I will not be holding back." Before he slammed the door
Sitting on the couch Banner just smirked as he petted his cat. "Oh I know you all to well Chronos but let just hope, He knows the meaning of holding back as well. I think that dragon of his was quiet annoyed by what I said. Isn't that right Pharaoh." Banner said as he brought his cat up to his face. The cat Pharaoh just looked at Banner before he meowed.
Duel Entrance Duel Stadium:
"Attention all Duel Academy Students Please report to the . I repeat attention all Duel Academy Students we will holding o. Thank you for your time. If you have not passed we wish you better luck next time. If you have passed welcome to Duel Academy and hope you have splendid time. Thank you and have great day. Now will Kyle Tenjo please report to Dueling field 3. Kyle Atlas to Dueling field 3. Thank You." The voice on the intercom announced
"Hey what's the deal." Came from the voice of one Jaden Yuki. A teenage boy of average height dual toned brown hair and honey brown eyes. "I thought my duel was the last one?"
"It appears not." Came from the British of Daichi Misawa. A teenager of slightly above average height with neatly arranged black hair that had a large portion flushed back and slightly to the left.
"I wonder why we're having another one." This time the voice a light on the younger side. This teenager was what you would call vertically challenged as he would put it standing at 152 cm (5 ft). He had light blue hair sectioned into three layers, Grey eyes positioned between the three bangs closes to his face behind a pair of round framed glasses. This boy was named Syrus Marufuji.
In the upper balconies three people were also curious. Well one was curious, the second was indifferent if a little annoyed. And the last was just boiling steam. The first two were standing together was tall young man standing at 184 cm (6 ft) with dark blue hair sectioned into three layers with blue eyes positioned directly beneath the bangs of the layer closest to his face. This was Zane "Kaiser Ryo" Marufuji older brother to Syrus. Standing next to was a young woman that any straight male would call beautiful. Long, dark blonde hair that was sporadically arranged with a large portion trailing the upper part of her neck, hazel brown eyes and a body most girls her age would kill for. This was Alexis Tenjoin Queen of the Obelisk Blue.
"Seems we have another late one. Think this one will be as entertaining as the last one. What do you think Zane?" Alexis asked as she looked towards her friend.
"I think that its to early to tell. We haven't seen the applicant and the duel hasn't even started." Zane replied with his eyes closed and arms followed across his chest. "But you never know what the future holds."
The last person sat on the upper levels of the stand was a teenager that was little taller than average. His outfit consisted of a slightly tattered black jacket with grey trimmings and sharp edges over a purple shirt, dark blue pants and brown shoes. His black hair is sectioned in two layers, his black eyes positioned directly beneath the bangs of the layer closest to his face. This was Chazz Manjome third heir to the Manjome Group and self proclaimed Next King of Games, self appointed King of the Obelisk and all around "Best Duelist" at Duel Academy (In his mind at least).
"Great we have to wait as another reject duel. Don't they know The Chazz is tired of waiting these flunkeys duel." Chazz stated with a tick growing on his face.
"Don't worry Chazz." One of his lackeys Matsuda* replied.
"Yeah didn't your this will be the last one." Motohama the other lackey stated.
"Tch, whatever." Chazz grumbled.
Duel Entrance Arena:
The atmosphere was intense Duel was about to commence as the the two duelist examined their opponent sizing each other up.
"Hello young lad my name is Doctor Chronos Crowler, headmaster of the Obelisk Blue Dormitories and Head professor and chairman of technique at Duel Academy." Chronos state with a not subtle hint of arrogance in his voice. "Now what's your name?"
"Tenjo, Kyle Tenjo." Kyle replied with a stock expression while he analyzed his opponent.
"Well Mr. Tenjo, I will be the testing your dueling skills to see if you will be getting into Duel Academy. Chronos said with a smile "Which you wont be."
"Very well then let the games begin then Mr. Medici." Kyle said. "God I can't believe I got stuck dueling this clown at my entrance exam."
With a sneer on his face, Chronos all but shouted. "That's Doctor Medici little boy. I'll have you know I have not one but TWO PhD's in dueling."
Kyle couldn't help but make the snark remark. "Well lets just see what that PhD says about your skills."
"You're going to regret that." Chronos snarled.
"Not likely" Kyle chuckled.
Duel Audience:Upper Balcony
"Wow guy sure has a mouth on him like the last one huh Zane." Alexis asked him.
"Well hopefully he can back it up like the last one too." Zane replied
Duel Audience:Upper Stands
"Wow this guys just beginning from punishment." Motohama said.
"Yeah but remember so was the last guy and he beat the Professor." Matsuda replied.
"Both of you shut up that last one was nothing but a fluke. Teach probably just went a little to easy on the guy. Yeah that's it." Chazz stated shutting the two up though he sounded like he was trying to convince himself that more then anything. "Yeah a fluke. There's know way the professors going to lose again especially if he's re using his personal deck."
Duel Audience:Lower Stands:
"Haha, oh man this guys got some bite to him." Jaden laughed.
"Uh Ju I don't that think the professor finds that funny." Syrus replied nervously.
"Indeed not. It seems our knew friend down there a bit of a mouth on him." Daichi commented.
"If anything it looks the professor about blow a head gasket." Syrus noted
Duel Arena:
"Duel vest on." Chronos voice commanded causing his duel vest to activate. "Well shall we begin."
"Very well." Kyle pulled out from behind On his left was a duel disk that was in the shape of a large bracelet gauntlet that was clamped on to his forearm with a handle angled curved up on the back and screen in the middle (2) with his deck held inside of a cut out section. The blade of the duel disk was shaped like the form of a scythe. Everyone in the audience were amazed and kind of jealous that theirs wasn't like that. A feminine voiced called from the device. "Duel Disk online.""Now are lets begin your confession Dear Doctor
Duel Audience:Upper Balcony:
"Amazing, I've never seen a duel disk like that before its so advance. Have you Zane? Alexis asked. Even though he didn't say anything, Zane to was impressed with the disk.
Duel Audience:Upper Stands:
"Hey Chazz you ever seen a duel disk like that?" Motohama asked.
"Yeah how come the reject gets one like that while we're stuck with the standard Academy issued duel disk?"Matsuda fumed. Chazz on the other hand just kept quiet silently asking the same questions as his lackeys.. I mean friends.
Duel Audience:Lower Stands:
"Whoa, swanking looking duel disk. It looks way cooler than teaches." Jaden replied giddily before asking in thought. "I wonder where I could get one of those?"
"Indeed the duel disk is an impress feat of dueling technology." Daichi was impressed. He knew without a shadow of a doubt that had to be one of the post advance to duel disk he ever seen in his life up to date,
"So cool." Was all Syrus could say.
Duel Arena:
"I must that is an mighty impressive duel disk young man. Tell where do you steal I mean get it from?" Chronos caught himself. A brief surge of anger boiled inside Kyle as his eyes briefly glowed green for being called a thief before capped a lid on it. Other people notice but dismissed it as a trick of the light except Jaden whose eyes responded by briefly flashing gold.
"If you must know I built it myself." Kyle tensely replied. The growl from earlier was heard again but this time not just by Kyle but also by Jaden, Alexis, Syrus and Chazz. They quickly looked around for the source but couldn't find it. Now that shocked everyone to think a guy their age was able to build something that looked so futuristic. Begrudgingly even Chronos had to respect the duelist in from of him for his work but he'll never physically admit at least.
Back in the Stands:
"Amazing to develop something like. He must be an genius in technology." Daichi couldn't help but get lost in thought thinking about he mechanics behind the disk. "The only disk I could think that could match that would be the disk Seto Kaiba himself created."
"That's so cool. Hey think he could build me one too.?" Jaden couldn't help but ask.
"I don't know Ju you'll have to ask him your self." Syrus reluctantly stated.
Chazz on the other hand was a little miffed finding that out. "No matter that disk will be mine by the time this is over."
Duel Arena:Kyle (4000) Vs Chronos (4000)
"I shall go first if you don't." Chronos sarcastically asked drawing his first card. "Think of this as a challenge to face when you have to got second."
"Not at all go ahead. After all age before beauty." Kyle replied snarkly. Some of the people in the audience actually laughed including Jaden & Syrus. Daichi silently chuckled, Alexis released a sheepish giggle, even Zane gave a slight smirk.
"Keep making making jokes slacker. Just wait til I/professor put you in your place." Unknown to the two both Chazz and Chronoshad the same thought process.
"Perfect with this hand there's no way I'll lose to this delinquent with this combo." A brief image of Jaden appeared in his head. "Not again,I won't make the same mistake like I did against him. By next turn this duel will be finished" Chronos thought looking at the cards he had in hand. "I'll start of by activating the field spell Geartown." A city made of rusted gears form around the two.

"Hey wait a sec the docs cheating." Jaden exclaimed.
"What do you mean Ju." Syrus asked.
"It says Chimera is a level 6. So how can the doctor just summon it without making a tribute." Jaden pointed out.
"That would be because of the effect of Geartown Jaden." Dachi explained. "It allows both player to summon any Ancient Gear Monster with one less tribute,"
"How come he didn't use those cards against me?" Jaden pouted with his arms over his chest like a child who didn't get a cookie for desert.
"Seems like the professor isn't taking any chances after his duel with you Ju" Syrus stated.
"But why though? I mean I didn't think I was too bad?" Jaden asked.
"Quiet the opposite if you asked me." Daichi said.
"Hm, what do you mean Dai?" Jaden asked curiously by what Daichi meant.
"I meant what I said Jaden. The professor underestimated you. He wasn't taking you seriously when he dueled you." Daichi said.
"What so you mean to tell he went easy on me." Jaden couldn't help be feel insulted to think his dueling opponent wasn't taking him seriously. Now Jaden was normally not one to truly get mad but he was one to give it is all in a duel so to find out his opponent wasn't was down right insulting.
"That's exactly what I'm telling you." Daichi said.
"But why, I mean come on that's just wrong. No matter who your opponent is to not give your all in duel is disrespectful. Not just to the duelist but also to their the decks to." Jaden said with a burning passion. His words were heard by the some of those in the surrounding crowds. Alexis couldn't help but smile at his words so did Syrus, Daichi and Kyle. Zane gave a silent nod in agreement. Some just sneered or kept silent waiting to see how the duel would play out
"While that is true and I agree with you whole heartily Jaden. Some times its best to start slow to gauge your opponent in a duel to get a feel of the skills of your foe. Which the professor didn't do this hence his lost against you. It seems like the good doctor isn't making the same mistake twice with our new friend down there and isn't pulling any punches." Daichi explained calming Jaden down a bit with his explanation though Jaden was still a little miffed.
"Yeah so don't sweat it Ju just think of it like preparing for when you have a rematch." Syrus said. The mention of a rematch duel was the thing that got Jaden back in a good mood.
"Yeah, you're right Sy." Jaden jumped upped happily. "Ah man just thinking about is getting me pumped up."
"Now you'll see slacker why the Professor has his titles." Chazz thought.
"Yikes, you know now knowing about that csrd I'm kind of glad he didn't use that against me." Jaden stated.
"Oh man you know what this means?" Syrus asked nervously.
"There's nothing that slacker can do now and by next turn that's game." Chazz continued to think then said "I don't know what this guy was thinking for challenging the professor to a duel. This prove that his previous lose was nothing but a fluke."
"Yeah,yeah you're right Chazz." Matsuda said.
"Tch, of course I'm right. Now shut up and lets finish watching this match." Chazz said rudely.
"I'll my turn by setting two cards face down." Vevian placed two cards. With a smug look on his face asked. "Now what will you do boy?" That's when everybody noticed that Kyle's expression looked of someone that was generally bored
"Are you done?" Kyle blandly asked
"W..what?" Vewllian stuttered out.
"I ASKED were you done?" Kyle asked again stoically. Not really expecting that question Chronos just responded with yes. "Good well first I draw a card." Looking over his hand. A card start to shine a trilling sound was what Kyle heard "You want to come out now." A growl was the response. "Very well. Now I start by activating the quick spell Mystical Space Typhoon."

Level 5 Galaxy Soldier." A white robotic looking warrior with green accents on his knees, hips, crotch, shoulders, spiked knuckles and a crescent shape on his helmet. His lone left eye shone a blue light with one coming from his chest appeared crouched down with his arms crossed in a X shaped fashion on the field.

With Alexis, Zane just narrowed his eyes on the field specifically on the Soldier. "Could it be." Was his thought.
"With his effect I can add 1 'Galaxy' monster from my deck to my hand. And I choose Galaxy Knight." The Knight's card slid out the deck into Kyle's hand. "Now I'll summon My Galaxy Knight to the field.

On the field next to Soldier came out on what looked like a hover board was Kyle's cosmic knight with his sword ready.
"Now hold on right there young man. You can't summon out a level 8 monster without tributing. That's cheating. Where do you think we are? Duelist Kingdom." The bombastic laugh Chronos released caused some of the other members in the audience to start laughing as well.
Taking a deep breathe before releasing an irritated sigh, Kyle calmly spoke. " I know. But my knights effect allows me to normal summon him if I control another Galaxy or Photon Monster on the field but at the cost of him losing 1000 attack points." As he said that his knights aura dimmed.

"Next I'll since I control a monster with 2000 attack points I can summon from my hand Overlay Booster in defense mode." Now came out a warrior clad in red armor with four panels on his back in a X shaped position and blast gauntlets on each wrist

"You're right this duel is over. For you at least." Kyle's silver eyes started to gain a blue glowing hue to them." Because I'm ending this duel." His pendent start to glow as well as a white blue aura started to envelope Kyle. "I sacrifice my Galaxy Soldier and My Overlay Booster special summon a monster more savage than a supernova." Both of the fore mentioned monster vanished into beams of light before coming together and form a giant version of Kyle's pendent. Taking the star he through it into the air. As light from the surrounding area began to be absorbed into the center diamond, he began to chant. Galaxy that shines in the darkness! Become a ray of hope and my very servant. Descend The Embodiment of light and Appear Now my Friend! Come Forth My very soul Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon."
In a explosion reminiscent of a supernova, the arena was bathed in a bright light causing everybody to caver their eyes. When the light died down and everyone's vision came back the say a sight to behold. Standing there in the middle of the field next to Galaxy Knight was a monster to be feared. Body shining of blue energy with what looked like electric circuits running through it. Its body was mostly covered in blue armor with only its abdomen, legs, arms and neck still showing. It had wings made out of light energy and the same red star as Kyle's pendent on its chest and a red three pronged fork at the end of its tail. The kicker was if anybody brave or foolish enough to look into its eyes, they would indeed see a white like pattern reminiscent of a galaxy in them. Releasing a devastating roar the made gave everyone shiver's down there spine and caused Chronos to step back.

"What do you mean Zane." Alexis turned to ask her friend.
Taking a breath to regain his nerves, Zane began to speak. "Rumor in the underground duel circuit spoke tales of a duelist wielding an eyed dragon not different than that of Kabai's Blue or Joey Wheeler's Red. I guess those rumors" Zane narrowed his eyes on the dragon.
"Galaxy Eyes...Photon...Dragon." Chazz slowly stated. "How the hell does this loser have a card like that. The only eyed dragons in existence are either blue-eyes or red-eyes."
"Whoa that dragon is sick." Jaden held a childlike giddy expression on his face.
"Yeah you're telling me." Syrus looked at the dragon with a face full of fear.
"Remarkable." Was Daichi was able to get out.
Chronos after getting his nerves together took a step forward. Coughing slightly into his hand he look towards Kyke and spoke. "Well yes while your monster is impressive, both together still want be able to take me out."
"Like I said Doctor there won't be a next turn. I'll finish this first by activating the quick spell card Photon Stream of Destruction."

"No my Chimera." Chronos shouted in disarray.
"That's right, Go Galaxy-Eyes get rid of the scrap heap." Galaxy-Eyes nodded at his partners words. Gathering energy into his mouth, he released it into a huge concentrated beam of energy striking the chimera in a flash of light. When it dyed down the monster was nowhere in sight, leaving Chronos's field wide open. "Now go Galaxy Knight." The lunged forward with his sword striking Chronos.

"Finally Galaxy-Eyes end this farce with True Photon Stream of Destruction." With a predastoric look on his face, Galaxy-Eyes looked to be almost smiling. Once again gathering a another large concentration of energy into his mouth the dragon got ready to release it attack. This time instead shooting it from a distance he flew to fire point blank at Crowler's face.
"Wait can't we talk about this first." Chronos begged. Unfortunately it feel on death's ears as Galaxy-Eyes looked him dead in the face. For a moment Chronos could've sworn the dragon shook its head No at the question before releasing the attack. The last thing people heard were Crowler's girlish scream. As the area lit up once again.
