chapter 1 :Taking things Slowly

A/N: hiya bit about me, I recently spent a bit of time at one Her Majesty's Prisons. In the 20 years since Bad girls originally aired things have progressed for female inmates but some things remain the same. Although I saw a few female officers make it to Governor status , Its still very much a Boys club. Anyway my mate told me to check out bad girls and although some things have changed and they got a few bits wrong its a fairly accurate portrayal of life inside a women's nick. This story is about what happened to our best loved couple after the end of season 3. it's rated M and if anyone is reading this I'd love to hear your feedback.
"We can take things slowly" Nikki gasped unable to believe this was real, cupping Nikki's face in her hands.
"Yeah dead slow" Helen teased leaning up to kiss Nikki soundly on the lips. As they pulled apart Helen grinned and looked around her, realizing they were in the middle of a busy street in broad daylight. Nikki and Helen stumbled into the nearest shop doorway to resume their kissing.
As they parted for air, still wrapped around each other Helen spoke. "Do you still want that drink? Or should we just grab a bottle on the way back to mine?" Helen couldn't wait to get Nikki completely alone.
"Forget The bottle, I want to remember tonight" Nikki grinned at her and bent to kiss her again.
"As long as you can keep your hormones under control until we get home" Helen teased.
"I think you might find that my control has been stretched to the limit after the last few years" Nikki quipped back "having you within touching distance but not being able to even kiss you" Nikki's voice became husky as she ran a finger down the side of Helen's neck making her shiver with anticipation.
"I know it was sheer torture for me too" Helen's accent thickened as she whispered in Nikki's ear.
"Lets hail a cab and go home. Your home too, if you want?" Helen said looking into Nikki's eyes.
"You sure? You might find that I'm a nightmare to live with?" Nikki's smile reached her eyes at the invitation she was eager to accept as long as Helen meant it.
"Oh I know you're a nightmare to live with, but I want you there anyway" She smiled when Nikki just nodded"Right so taxi home then?"Helen grabbed her hand linking the fingers with her own.
"I'm just so glad that you came" Nikki smiled down at the beautiful woman in her arms.
They hailed down a black cab and climbed into the back seat together. For the whole 15 minute cab ride they held hands and gazed into each others eyes, stealing little kisses every so often.
As Helen struggled to get the key in the lock, Nikki ran her hands appreciatively over Helen's hips and leaned in to kiss her on the neck, driving her to distraction. Helen finally got the door open and they stumbled inside.
"Just as I remember it, except the door didn't slam in my face this time" Nikki laughed.
"Sorry about the mess , its been a bit hectic the last few days." Helen gestured to the empty wine bottles on the coffee table and an empty takeaway container.
"I can't believe that I'm actually here with you" Nikki sighed and leaned down to capture Helen's lips again. Things started to get heated with Helen running her hands up the back of Nikki's shirt , desperate to feel her bare skin under her hands. She traced patterns on the small of her back , delighting in the goosebumps that formed under her touch.
Nikki pulled away gently "do you mind if we put this on hold until I've had a bath? I want to get the prison smell off me" Nikki explained running her hand down the side of Helen's face tenderly, before kissing her with the utmost gentleness. Nikki wandered towards the bathroom with Helen following close behind her.
" Um yeah of course, you remember where the bathroom is, I suppose?" Helen teased, her eyebrow arching.
" Yeah I remember everything about your flat Helen, I've played that night I was here over and over in my head until it nearly drove me mad"She grinned sheepishly before adding "Uh Helen?"she paused.
"I don't have any spare clothes, I left my bags at the club" She finished running a hand over the back of her neck and looking at the floor awkwardly.
"er right, you can wear the robe that you used last time you were here and I can pop your clothes on a quick wash for tomorrow" Helen came up with quickly moving to the airing cupboard opposite the bedroom door.
Helen took a big fluffy white towel from the airing cupboard and handed it to Nikki and she went into the bathroom and wrapped her arms around her lover from behind kissing her shoulder softly before she leaned over the tub, she turned on the hot water and turned to Nikki "help yourself to anything you want to use, I'll go order us some food. I'm guessing you haven't eaten yet?" Helen looked into Nikki's face, a loose tendril of raven hair escaping from behind her ear that Helen tucked back in it's place.
" No I couldn't face anything this morning" Nikki answered as she rummaged through Helen's assorted bubble baths on the side of the tub and deciding on a lavender one that claimed helped one to sleep and relax, she poured in a generous measure.
"Pizza or Chinese?" Helen asked.
"Pizza, oh and I don't eat red meat..." Nikki added as an after thought , thinking that there was so much they didn't know about each other but here she was in Helen's bathroom about to take her clothes off.
"Okay I'll get us a vegetarian one then" Helen said "I'll leave you to it, enjoy your bath" Helen left the room closing the door softly behind her.
Helen knocked the door about ten minutes later just as Nikki had lowered herself into the hot soapy water.
"sorry I've just come for your clothes, the robes on the hook on the door" Helen picked up the discarded clothes and quickly left.
After giving the living room a quick tidy and ordering the food she sat nervously on the edge of the sofa. The pizza arrived about 30 minutes later and after 45 minutes and still no sign of Nikki ,Helen went to check on her. She tapped the door again and waited for a response. No answer so Helen peeped her head around the door to see Nikki stretched out in the bath with one foot up on the bath resting against the taps , fast asleep. Her heart melted as she looked at the woman she was undoubtedly in love with. She'd never known herself to feel so much for another person. The most surprising to her was the feeling of inexpiable tenderness that swept through her. She bent down next to the tub before running a finger down the taller woman's cheek gently and whispering in her ear "Wake up sleepy, the foods here and the waters getting cold" Helen kissed her temple as she saw Nikki stir and open her eyes slowly.
"Oh sorry, the water was so warm, It's been a busy day" Nikki tried to explain.
"I know" She kissed her forehead and left Nikki to get out in privacy.
Helen was once again sat on the edge of her seat trying to act casual. Absently flicking through tv channels trying to distract her mind all the while her heart felt like it was going to burst out of her chest with anticipation. Nikki entered the room suddenly feeling shy in the blue dressing gown that she'd worn once before. It only reached mid thigh making her feel exposed and nervous until her brown eyes met Helen's hazel and she saw the love and pure adoration upon her face. Nothing else mattered. She joined Helen on the sofa and they ate the pizza and talked and laughed together like they'd been doing this their whole lives. It felt so natural; as easy as breathing.
When all the pizza was gone they linked their fingers together, gazing into each others eyes and becoming lost. Helen was the first to lean in, much to Nikki's surprise at her taking the lead. Helen's lips touched hers tentatively at first before becoming bolder and letting her tongue lick lightly across Nikki's bottom lip. Nikki moaned into the kiss bringing her hand up to grip the back of Helen's neck gently. Nikki took control of the kiss , her tongue tangling with the smaller woman's as Helen's hands fisted into her dark hair possessively.
"I've wanted this for so long" Nikki panted between kisses.
"And now we can have it" Helen gasped back, Nikki's eager fingers undoing the buttons on Helen's shirt. Helen parted the dressing gown to gaze at Nikki's perfectly formed body. "Oh Nicola, you're so beautiful" Helen whispered to her, in awe of this gorgeous woman sat with her. Helen leaned over her to kiss her neck softly and Nikki groaned again "Still wanting to take it slowly?" The Scot teased her.
"Oh we can take it as slow as you like. I'm planning on taking my time getting to know your body. Find and memorize every freckle, find out what makes your toes curl and most importantly what makes you come" Nikki whispered seductively in her ear, her breath tickling Helen's face which had turned slightly pink.
"Well I do remember someone saying they wanted to make love to me all night long" Helen tried to tease back but her breath coming in short pants and Nikki kissed and licked the soft flesh under her ear.
"All night might be pushing it tonight but I'll happily give it a good honest try" Nikki captured her mouth again moving over the smaller woman. Nikki wanted Helen so badly it almost hurt her. She could feel her nipples harden and her sex grow wet with arousal. Helen made a little whimper in the back of her throat when Nikki cupped one of her generous sized breasts in her hand. Nikki knew she didn't need to speak, she just wrapped her arms tightly around her new girlfriend and lay her head on top of Helen's which was now tucked in the crook of her neck. She yawned loudly out of nowhere blushing when Helen looked up at her "Time for some sleep, someone had a really long day after all" She snuggled down under the duvet and pulled Nikki down to join her, reclining back on the soft pillows with Helen wrapped in her loving embrace she fell into a deep sleep with a smile lingering on her lips.
