A flash of crimson velvet, blue silk, green canvas, then total darkness.

"Hey! Leia, watch the hair! I'm trying to look presentable over here," Han bellowed as he ripped the black cloak off his head and began to reshape his mussed hair.

Leia looked over at Han and let out a frustrated groan. "Ugghhh!!!"

She then turned back to her overstuffed closet and pulled a blue silk dress off of its wooden hanger. She stepped into the dress, pulling it easily over legs and thighs, the long fabric swung gracefully to her toes, she tugged it further up, but then it stopped suddenly, meeting her round swollen belly. She tugged the fabric hard, willing it to move, the silken fabric slipped backward, her foot hit a stray shoe, and crash, she landed with a thud on the bed.

Han jumped, startled by the loud crash, seeing Leia laying motionless in a heap of fabric, he ran over to her side.

"Leia, what the hell was that?! What happened? Are you okay?"he said reaching for her hand in the sea of fabric and helping sit up the fallen princess.

"Nothing fits!! Literally nothing fits! I'll be naked at my own brother's wedding!" She screamed, grabbing Han's hand to sit up and ripping the dress off her legs.

Han marched over to the closet, "What do mean nothing fits? You have a million outfits, and you never get rid of anything. You must have something to wear," he said as he began pawing through the endless racks of luxe fabrics.

"I was supposed to find something new to wear, but then they put me on bed rest for 2 months. I didn't realize I'd be so fat by the wedding," Leia said, now standing in front of the full length mirror, scowling and staring dejectedly at her enlarged breasts and swollen low hanging stomach.

The click click click of the hangers paused and Han turned his head towards Leia.

" You're not fat, you're just pregnant." He continued to tear through the racks of clothes, "Jesus Leia, do you get rid of anything? You have more clothes than anyone alive."

He sighed frustrated, pulling through more hangers of clothes, "And You can't be that fat! Something must fit you!"

"Fat? You think I'm fat?!" She pulled at the straps of her bra, tugging the fabric into place, revealing red angry lines that dug into her shoulders. She continued to tug at the band of her too tight slip," Nice talk from you, you you you, oafish nerf herder!"

Han's head whipped around, ready to blast into a screaming match at such a remark. "What did you just say?!"

Han paused his words paused and hung in the air, stopped by the sad site in front of him.

There was Leia, barefoot and 8 months pregnant, with his child, her usually immaculate braids, disheveled and falling apart from the crown of her head. Her bra straps falllen and the skirt of her slip eschew, as tears welled in her angry frustrated eyes.

Han approached his falling apart wife, and pulled the left strap of her bra back up to her shoulder, "Jeez sweetheart, I shouldn't have said that. I'm sorry, come here," he said pulling her closer, wrapping his hands around her waist resting his hands on her pregnant stomach, his lips nuzzling her neck.

"You're absolutely beautiful, you always are," he said through a muffled voice as he continued to nuzzle her neck breathing in the sweet scent of her rose perfume.

"Stop it. You're a jerk, you're just saying that," she said trying to pull away from his grasp but his strong protective hands held tight to her waist.

He lifted his lips from her neck, and she turned her head, meeting his loving gaze. "You're always beautiful to me," he said.

"No matter what you wear," he murmured, bringing his lips to hers.

The kiss started off slowly, but grew more urgent, their hands searching desperately for each other's bodies. She ran her fingers through his neatly combed hair. His hands moved upwards from her waist, and began to cup her breast gently, and then squeezing lightly and then harder until she let out a gasp.

They're lips broke apart from each other, finally coming up for air, away from their desperate kissing.

The gazed into each other's eyes, a feeling of warmth and love spreading thought out both of their bodies.

Knock, knock, the door of the room swung open, and C3PO marched into the room

" The Damerons are here, the Calrissians are less than 20 minutes away, and Master Luke will be here in less than 30 minutes! You must get going, there's still several items on my check list that must be attended to."

Leia and Han turned towards C3PO, Han's arms wrapped around Leia's waist with his hands resting gently on her stomach.

Han opened up his mouth to speak, but C3po spoke first, "And look at the two of you! Neither of you are even dressed!"

C3PO looked scandalized, taking in the two half naked figures. "Really, the two of you just stop that at once. There's no time for that! You must get dressed and ready for the wedding. Master Luke is arriving soon, R2 still needs the rings, Shara needs help setting up the archway, Lando will need landing clearance, Chewbacca needs," Han slammed the door shut.

" 3po take a breath, relax! Leia and I just need 20 more minutes," Han said through the closed door.

C3po 's metal feet clanked along the wooden floor as he turned, " How rude! Telling me to take a breath and relax, why I don't even breathe!"

"Arghh!!" Metal clanked.

"Chewbacca! Unhand me this instant!"

"Argh!!!" More metal clanked as C3PO was dragged down the hall.

" Thanks buddy!" Han called.

Leia and Han laughed.

"Poor 3po's going to oveheat and explode from the stress of this wedding," Leia said.

" Just like someone else I know," Han said giving Leis a mocking look.

"Now where were we?" He said, slipping his hand under the silk of her slip feeling the warmth of her thigh.

"Stop that! I actually need to put clothes on, not take them off," she said breaking away from his grasp and pulling her skirt back into place.

"There must be something I can wear," she said matching over to the vast closet, a determined look on her face.

She pulled a green mass of fabric from the closet. "I know! I'll just wear this," she said pulling the green camo printed poncho over her head.

Han laughed, "you still have that old thing? I guess you never know when you'll need to blend in with the trees of Endor and fight off storm troopers again."

Leia crosses her arms in front of her chest, "Fine! If you can find a better outfit than this, then show me!"

Han playfully pushed Leia away from the closet, "Step aside and let a true master work. I'll find you the best outfit you've ever seen!" He said, yanking through the endless hangers of clothes.

Han emerged minutes later, brandishing a white long sleeved dress, the silver belt glinting in the light.

"Pull off the belt, and this thing might just be loose enough to work," he said tugging at the shining belt.

"Really Han? White? To a wedding?"

"Huh? If you just give me a minute!" He said yanking at the silver circles and squares.

She reached up and stopped his hand, "Han Stop! I can't wear a white dress to a wedding,"

"Why not? You look great in it," he said his hands returning to the stubborn silver circles and squares of the belted waist.

"Because Han, I'm not the Bride!" She said pulling his hands away from dress, swiftly smoothing the dress back down.

"Besides, I haven't fit in that dress since I was 19."

"Oh, right. Only the bride can wear white." He said, his tired eyes looking down at hers.

"But I'll find you something. Something even better than that old thing! You'll look great," he said, his spirits renewed, he turned towards the closet and pulled for the first hanger he saw.

"Han stop! This is useless," she said, sliding hopelessly onto their bed. "Nothing is going to fit me. All my maternity clothes are leggings and tunics. I don't have any dresses that will fit me. I'll just have to wear my normal clothes,"

She laid back on the bed, "I'm too big and my clothes are too tight. I'll just have to wear a cape or a coat or something, maybe they will be loose enough to fit me, and actually look dressed up enough," she closed her eyes willing the tears to stop.

Han sighed, looking between the closet and the dejected Princess Leia.

" Wait a minute. Cape... now that gives me an idea. I know someone that always travels with their own personal wardrobe droid, and a tailor droid," Han said putting his hands in his hips.

Han opened up the door, "Leia sit up, Chewbacca stop what your doing and come fix Leia's hair, R2 give me Lando's coordinates. I need to see a man about a collection of capes."
