The Girl of Crystal
This will follow the story of my OC, Crystal Ramirez, better known by her anti-hero name, Gem. She got her powers in an accident involving irradiated crystals. Her father, William, who was the intended victim, was somehow unaffected by the crystals. She was brought in by S.H.I.E.L.D. to learn to control her powers, but discreetly, she hunted for her father, blaming him for her becoming what she was. She became a member of the new team of students at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.
Her Face Claim is Nina Dobrev. Her suit is a skintight violet suit, the color of which and symbol resembles the DC Comics supervillain group, the Star Sapphires, but the suit itself resembles the suits of the Green Lanterns from the same comics line. Her suit has a crown that resembles the one Wanda Maximoff wears in the comics as Scarlet Witch, but she also has a mask she wears with it too, both of which are the same color as her suit.

Author's Note: This'll be set after Ultimate Spider-Man's series finale, but Spider-Man, his classic team, the New Warriors, and the Web Warriors will make occasional appearances
One evening, Spider-Woman, Vulture, Rhino, Mysterio, and Patrioteer were on their way to a gem depository being hit.
"Who are you guys thinking it is?" Rhino asked.
"I'm hoping it's the Frightful Four." Patrioteer said.
"Whoever it is, Fury said they definitely have powers." Mysterio said.
"We're about to find out who it is." Vulture informed them as they arrived outside the depository and got into position.
"Be ready for..." Spider-Woman started until they saw the sixth member of their team, Gem, walking out with two bags, one in each hand.
"Oh, hey, guys." Gem said with a grin.
They all sighed.
"Gem, we talked about this. You can't rob places if you help people." Mysterio said.
"Oh, but I'm one of those people, beautiful. So, I'm still being helpful." Gem said. "Besides, these gemstones are so beautiful."
Spider-Woman and her team facepalmed.
Gem was different from her teammates. While she had little trouble saving the city, she also occasionally committed crimes. Her teammates knew this and they knew they'd never convince her to stop.
"Let's just head back to the Triskelion for training." Spider-Woman said.
The six teens headed back to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Triskelion and made their way to Fury's office.
"Gem, I wanna talk to you before you head to training." Fury said. "The rest of you, head to the training room and wait for her."
The others left and Gem looked at Fury. "Is something wrong, Fury?" She asked.
"We've talked about you committing robberies." He said.
She shrugged with an innocent smile. "Yet, somehow, it still goes in one ear and out the other." She said.
"Crystal, can't you try being a hero?" He asked.
"Ew." Gem replied then shuddered. "Being a full-on goody-goody? No, thanks. I'll stick with this whole anti-hero thing I've got going on."
Fury sighed. "At least think about it is all I ask."
"Already have and my answer is no." She said, sounding a bit annoyed. She soon headed to the training room and joined her teammates.
Agent Venom and Scarlet Spider looked at her as she walked in and stood with her teammates.
"Okay, let's see how you punks do." Scarlet Spider says.
Gem surrounds her entire body in an armor made of crystal as the training bots move to attack them.
The bots powered up their lasers.
"Gem!" Spider-Woman said.
"Chill, Newbie Web Slinger." Gem said then created a dome of crystal that protected the six of them. When the lasers stopped, Gem changed the dome to stalagmites. Patrioteer focused his repulsor blasts on the crystals and the beams refracted and hit several of the bots.
One of the bots moved behind Mysterio, who was occupied with two in front of her. Gem lifted a stalagmite out of the floor and shot it at the bot behind Mysterio, who looked at it then Gem, who flashed a flirting smile. "I'll watch your back, cutie." She said.
Underneath her helmet, Mysterio blushed before she regained her focus on the training.
After a few minutes, training ended and Gem walked to the dorm room. Once she was relaxing in her bunk, she took off her mask and picked up her tablet and set to using it for something.
"Hey." Mysterio eventually said and Crystal looked at her with a smile.
"Well, hello beautiful." She said as Frances took her helmet off. "You should leave it off more. Don't hide that pretty face."
Frances blushed. "...Can I join you?"
Crystal responded but scooting over and making room for Frances, who sat next to Crystal.
"...How were you when you and your dad were reunited?" Crystal asked.
"I was beyond happy. I finally had and still have him back in my life."
Crystal nodded. "...I don't know how I'd be if my dad came back into my life."
"Not a good relationship?" Frances asked as their teammates walked in.
Crystal looked at her suit. "My dad's the reason I'm like this." She said through clenched teeth.
"Crystal, I'm sure that's not true." Mary Jane said.
"It is true, MJ." Crystal said.
"How'd it happen?" Harry asked.
"...I'm not ready to open that wound yet, Harry."
He nodded in understanding.
Crystal sighed.
"What if we find your dad?" Adrian asked.
"...I can't ask you guys to get involved." Crystal said.
"That's good, because we're not asking." Alex said.
Crystal smiled softly. "Thanks, guys."
Mary Jane, Harry, Adrian, and Alex nodded then left the room. Crystal looked at Frances and gently brushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear, resulting in the latter blushing brightly and looking at her.
Crystal smiled softly. "I just now noticed how beautiful those green eyes are."
Frances only blushed brighter. "...Thank you..." She said shyly.
Crystal smiled. She was fully aware that Frances liked her because she felt the same way.
"Maybe some time, we could enjoy some alone time." Crystal said.
Frances looked at her and nodded softly. "I'd like that."
Crystal smiled then Mary Jane, Harry, Alex, and Adrian came back then they and Frances got in their bunks and went to sleep.
