My first story with the Baljeet x Ginger ship.

Explores the aftermath of Phineas's dare to Baljeet in 'growing up' chapter 3. Please read that for more context.

I do not own Phineas and Ferb, all rights go to the creators Dan Povenmire, Jeff Swampy Marsh and Disney.

Baljeet immediately rushed inside the Flynn-Flecther household, and let out a deafening screech of joy. Baljeet with the rest of his 'closer' friends we're just playing truth or dare (suggested by Adyson), with a surprisingly uncomplicated contraption built by Phineas and Ferb. After more than two hours of getting horrible dares by Buford (Baljeet swears that the 'random' roulette was intentionally putting him with Buford every possible non-suspicious moment), Baljeet finally was targeted by Phineas, thinking that Phineas could articulate no harm. Definitely not a dare to kiss someone!

Baljeet was starting to make a hypotenuse that Phineas did not understand love at all; his hypothesis was fractured beyond repair after Phineas dare Baljeet, like retribution from Buford, to kiss Ginger on the lips, especially at midnight, Baljeet internally shivered.

Baljeet didn't deject the concept, he had formed a crush on Ginger over the past year and a half; the longest he has bolstered a crush for, after giving up his crush for Isabella after finding out that, one, she harboured a crush on Phineas, and two, she wasn't ecstatic about school (Except for junior high); he had only encountered romantic tensions with Mishti, his best friend since early childhood, in consequence to Phineas's lapsed understanding of girls (should have asked Isabella or any of the fireside girls instead), regardless, in the end, they both wholeheartedly to remain friends. For Christmas, Baljeet wanted to kiss a pretty girl under a mistletoe, which ended up being Wendy but nothing came out of it.

Like Phineas; Baljeet isn't that knowledgeable in romance, it isn't taught in school. But he was certain that he has fallen for the Japanese fireside girl. Baljeet was determined that his feeling wasn't reciprocated in the slightest, he was perfectly contempt in being friends with her.

This stable status quo won't certainly continue if Baljeet kissed Ginger, she would easily find out his feelings and end their delicate friendship or at the least consequential outcome, have an awkward aura around each other every time they would come to Phineas's and Ferb's backyard; that what Baljeet thought.

So obviously, Baljeet was completely caught off guard when Ginger, instead of himself eagerly initiated the kiss, and as soon as the 'fireworks' he felt go through his entire body.

He wasn't dense or a fool, he knew what this means; what he thought was logically impossible is being questioned.

He will have to discuss this with her tomorrow, with the miniature crowd and blasts of the fireworks.

So this is a two-shot, if you can't already tell.

And yes, this is cannon to 'growing up'.
