Morning.
At the park of Great Lake City, people are enjoying their time with family and friends. Playing, eating, and exchanging story. Some of them are exercising doing a light jog with earbuds on their ear, or yoga. Or just chilling on the bench or the flat grasses part of the park. Some couples are wondering near the fountain tossing coin and make wishes or exchanging promises that sometimes never come true and so they end up dumping each other though.
Under the shade of a red oak tree Lori was sitting while humming and brushing the head of her boyfriend Bobby laid on her lap.
"Uhm! Babe are ready to live here in the big city?"Bobby asked."when is your graduation ceremony then so we can celebrate it in Royalwoods before you go to live here?"Bobby is excited to live under the same roof with his girlfriend.
"Yeah! I am really excited to live with you and im looking forward to my graduation ceremony in high school." Lori said."Soon boo boo bear just bear it for little bit."
Lori continue to hum in a soft sound like a lullaby. She is ready to leave the Loud house after her graduation ceremony, some of her things is already packed. All she have to do is to graduate in high school.
The 19 years old young woman is already capable to live independently and financially capable too, she doing part time jobs like manager in her dad's restaurant, arcade staff in Gust's Game and Grab, waitresses at the sushi restaurant, and babysitting the neighbour's kids. Doing all that work is all worth it for her to get her dream to become a city girl and to live with her boyfriend.
Although her parents are paying her apartment to live within and tuition fee. Lori insists not to let her parents to do that, she said she paying all her needs and requirements to live in the city and her collage fees. And Lori said use that money to her siblings instead. Her parents is crying when she said that to them. Lynn Sr. is the most affected when she said that. He always see his eldest daughter like a little girl and now she is like a bird leaving her nest. Lynn Sr. never thought his daughter have the financially capability to live all by herself. So that's why his crying heavily.
The couple stand up and walk towards to the near by ice cream truck buy some ice cream and sit on the park bench near at the family having a picnic. Bobby saw a skinny man wearing a black hooded jacket and walking back and forth to the family having a picnic near them and to the fountain, Bobby think the man have the feeling between waiting for someone or having an antsy feeling based on his action maded. The man stop and put his hand on the jacket pocket and get a stick like device with red button on top and click it.
"ALLAHU AK*burp* AKBAR!"The man shouted. Then he click the button but nothing happens.
Bobby saw it on the news while his working at the bodega, that there are incident a suicide bomber might appear on any time and at any location around the world. This bastard they don't care at all to anyone around them, all they want is to deal a great damages to the society around them.
Bobby stand and start to run toward to the man and tackle him from the back, he caught the man off guard and fall on the ground, Bobby is trying to get the stick like device on the hand of suicide bomber, Bobby grab the hand of the man and fight against it to get the device. Bobby is losing the upper hand on the man and he start shouting to everyone around them to run away from here.
"EVERYONE RUN AWAY FROM HERE THIS GUY IS A SUICIDE BOMBER!"Bobby shouted.
Everyone around Bobby and the man run away them panicking and scared to theirs lives, they might be implicated from the explosion, some of the people called the police while running away from them. All nearby people are gone except one. Lori. Lori was still standing near on the bench, worrying to the safety of her boyfriend. Bobby know Lori will not run away from them, so he convince her that he will follow after her when his done to this guy.
"Don't worry babe I will come after you when im DONE to this guy I promise."Bobby is smiling when he said those word to Lori."Hey! Lori. I love you babe."
"I love you too boo boo bear!"Lori said those word before turning her back to him and star running away from them while her eyes is burst crying. Lori look back one last time, and see her boyfriend waving at her before he punch the man on the face. Lori continue to run away from them while crying. After she gain a great distance from them and exited from the park, she saw and hear an explosion. *BOOOOM* "Nooooooo!"Lori desperate shout. Her body become weak and she fall on the floor, she slam her right hand on floor while her left hand is on her mouth. She never thought she's gonna loose her boyfriend today.
After the explosion. Lori run towards to the explosion site but, she was blocked by dust and smoke, she doesn't care about that anymore, she go through the dust and smoke, and reach the blast site, she can't see anything."Ohh! God please."She start praying to see her boyfriend alive, but thought and prayer didn't work. After the dust and smoke settled, she saw her boyfriend in 3 pieces. Lori saw Bobby's waist was laying at the broken bench, she saw Bobby's left arm hanging on the red oak tree where they stay earlier in the morning, the last Lori saw was the lifeless body of her boyfriend floating on the fountain."Nooo! Bobby!"Lori said. Lori run to the fountain and hug the lifeless body of her boyfriend and started to mourn. She saw Bobby's right hand was closed, so she slowly open it and saw the slightly burn picture of them at the Gust's Game and Grub arcade and take it while she hold his hand. she's wearing their prom dresses and dancing in a slow romantic beat of the music. That day Lori can't go to their prom night, because she have to pay for the token she give to Lincoln, but Lincoln give the token to his classmate just to join him to his birthday party in side the sewer. But realised that his sister can't go to their prom because she have top pay for the token she gave him. So Lincoln called Bobby and his sisters to help him to make her happy and at the sametime go to the prom without leaving from work. They make a little dance floor on the arcade and decorate it with face corals, because the theme of their prom is underwater romance. With Luna is the dj and Leni make her seafoam green dress. Bobby was waiting for Lori to get dress, even they both didn't attend to their prom night at least they have each other in that moment.
The police, firetruck, and ambulance came one by one and surrounded the park. One paramedic came near to Lori and carefully assist her to the ambulance to check if she was wounded or something. The police place a yellow tape for their investigation. The fire men take out some fire around the vicinity. The medical personel carefully collect the exploded body parts of the suicide bomber and Bobby they carefully put the body parts on the respective bodybags.
Lori was still devastated to the event she just staring to nowhere and didn't want to talk. The police was gathering information to the event and asking the people who knows what happened here.
"*ehem* Miss im sorry for what you lost but, can you tell me what happen here?"The police officer asked. Lori just stared at him."It's ok if you don't want to talk right now. But its really helpful to our investigation if can give us some information to this even and we can solve this case immediately."But she just stared at him. And she begin to snobing. The police officer tap her shoulder and console her."It's okay miss we will get who's the mastermind to this and put him into bars we promises."The police smile, and Lori begin to talk, but her voice is crackled and cutted between snobing and crying, but the police officer is professional and understanding, he can understand what she was saying and and wrote it on his notepad and translate it into english so he can write it to his report. The police officer give Lori a thank you for her cooperation and leave.
Morning of the same day.
In the middle of the city of Great Lake. Vehicles are driving on the road towards to their destination. People are walking on the streets. And some hotdogs vendor are selling hotdogs under the street sign. There are 2 teenagers doing sightseeing on the murals on the wall of the city. A boy with white hair, a chipped tooth, orange shirt, and blue pants. Lincoln and Ronnie Ann are wondering around in the city and looking on the murals on the city walls while eating hotdogs and picking on each other.
"Hey! Lame-O look at this mural on the wall."Ronnie Anne said."It's looks like you when I pull your pants on the locker hall on school."Ronnie Anne is laughing hard and bite her hotdog on her hand.
"Hey! Look at that mural on the other side of the streets."Lincoln point his finger on the other side and Ronnie Anne take a look at it."It's looks like you when I denied that I like you on my friends on the school cafeteria."Lincoln said and take a bite on his hotdog, when her see Ronnie Anne blushed. Ronnie Anne punch Lincoln on his arm."Aw! What was that for?"Lincoln asked and Ronnie Anne just smug.
"Nice one! Lame-O."Ronnie Anne said."Hey wanna go to the park after this?"
Ronnie Anne asked."Wanna dub Lori and Bobby conversations?"
"Sure! Why not that's sounds fun."Lincoln said.
They walk to the bus stop and wait for the bus to arrive. The bus arrive a few minutes and unload some passengers and load again. Before the passenger get inside of the they feel a very light earthquake.*Boom*and a weak sound of explosion. Lincoln and Ronnie Anne hop on the bus, they sit on the right side of the bus. They still picking on each other by throwing torn bus tickets that stuck on the darkside of the chairs.
They arrived at the bus stop near the park and they saw a mass of people gathering near the park. The park entrants are blocked by the police tapes and barricaded. Reporter from various news chanels even Ron Burgundy and ambulances are also at the seen fire trucks are inside at the part and taking out some fire from the bushes and trees. 4 paramedics with 2 stretcher each of them have one bodybag. Lincoln saw his sister sitted on the wheelchair pushed by 1 paramedic and carry her to the one of the ambulance that have a stretcher and a bodybag on top. Lincoln take Ronnie Anne's arm and rush to the ambulance the take his sister on it.
"Wait! Lori wait."Lincoln called Lori. The 2 teenagers arrive at the back of the
ambulance and knocked. The backdoor opened and one of the paramedics greet them and asked what are they relationship to the victim. Lori saw them and vouch for them to let get inside of the ambulance. Lincoln saw his sister was bloody from chest to stomach and ask her what happen. Lori begin to stand and come to them and hug Ronnie Anne harder and start mourning.
Lori tell to us what happen in the park earlier, and Ronnie Anne move to the stretcher and slowly unzipping the bodybag, she see her dead brother. Lori hug her and lay her head on Ronnie's back and cry. I come and hug them both. And the ambulance drive to the hospital.
