Miami Florida, August 2000

It was a dark and stormy night, pop sensation, "Nylah Nyx" was wrapping up her interviewing on Nighty Night with Alondra Sillard. In her dressing room, she was brushing her blonde hair when she spotted a present with a tag that says, "From Your Biggest Fan"

She opened the present to find out print camera.

In the morning, Japanese American Missy Oyama and African American Vienna Reedwell are best friends who just graduated Community College and are heading home to the Coconut Apartments.

Inside, they met the new managers of the building, Zeb Dinsmore and Hiram Farr, "Hey Zeb" said Vienna, "How's your father."

"Dad has retired" Zeb explained, "He's now in the Luther Angel Retirement Home, hoping there won't be any more chaos."

"After Jirou left for Yale and became it's a most valuable professor in Astronomy" Hiram replied, "Things got a lot calmer."

"I know" replied Missy, " Plus Simone had to stay here to look after her mom's company"

"It's a shame that your mom passed away last year in that car crash" Zeb recalled, "The Queen Wagon engine got on the fritz and it crashed into a tree."

After they left, five figures came up, "Your here for the "Sync Issues" asked Hiram, "We'll get you your papers right away.

Meanwhile, Missy and Vienna were heading off to their new apartment. Simone hired some movers to take their stuff there the night before they head back, meaning that they're now going to have to take care of unpacking it themselves. As they got to their room, something went off, "That's weird" said Missy as she looked through a box of jerseys, "I don't remember having a collection of sports jerseys."

"You have to be rich to buy all of these" replied Vienna, "This can't be our new apartment."

Across the hall, they saw five heartthrobs. They were J. C Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass, otherwise known as NSYNC. Vienna and Missy couldn't believe that they're in the apartment across from the world-famous boy band. In Chris's hands, they saw Stella Applesand, "Stella" Vienna exclaimed as she hugged her old dolly "I was wondering where you were."

"Aren't you too old for dolls?" asked Chris

"Not really" Vienna replied as she took Stella and hugged her, "Stella means a lot to me."

Zeb and Hiram came up to the floor to see that they got the addresses mixed up, "I can see my mistake" Zeb replied, "Sorry, we're new to the whole managing thing"

"That's okay Man" J. C replied, "This place is a bit of a maze too."

Zeb explained to the girls that other apartment buildings were filled with super NSYNC fans and this was the only building that they can be safe in. Also, Zeb and Hiram knew that celebrities needed some privacy, so they suggested that Missy and Vienna would be their friends while they work on collaborating with Palmtree Records stars for the next 3 months.

"Three months" Vienna replied, "This is August, so they'll end the session in October."

"I thought you guys were going on your No Strings Attached Tour"

"We are" Justin answered, "We only got one more stop in Jacksonville"

NSYNC had a feeling that they're going to get the hang of befriending Missy and Vienna.

After they unpacked in their new apartments, Vienna started looking through the paper for some job openings, "We are going to get a job at your family's music shop, "Cearra's Concert" Missy recalled, "Remember"

"I know" Vienna replied, "But we need to pay off the rent here."

"Your right" Missy replied, "Rent for an apartment building inexpensive.

While looking in the paper, Missy found a report on Nylah Nyx's harassment, "I see that they haven't caught the Pop Diva harasser yet" "This has been going on for four months."

That's when they found a special ad in the paper.

Personal Assistants for Wanted

Come Meet at Pena Detective Agency

"You know Vi," said Missy, "We can be personal assistants to a private detective. Think about, getting him his coffee, answering the phone for him, scheduling meetings with clients."

"That's a good idea, Missy," Vienna replied

They left immediately to meet their new boss.

When they go to the elevator, they saw NSYNC having little fan trouble, "Thanks to the press" Chris explained, "All our fans outside The Coconut Apartments knew we're here."

That's when Missy and Vienna got an idea.

Later outside the detective agency, NSYNC was wearing old hoodies that belonged to Simone, "Do we have to wear these girls' hoodies?" asked Joey.

"Sorry" Vienna replied, "It's the only way we can sneak you fellas out. Plus Simone hasn't used them much since she graduated high school."

Inside, they saw that the place was like the set of a detective show, "Hello" shouted Missy, "We're here for the ad."

A middle-aged Latino detective dressed in 40s apparel came in, "Of course" replied the man "Detective Iker Pena of the Miami Police Dept"

"You sound like something from Law and Order," Vienna said, "Anywhere, we're here to be your new personal assistants.

"Actually," Detective Pena corrected, "It's not for me"

"Tio Iker" shouted an obese Latina with lilac clothing, "What's going on here?"

"Nothing sweetie" answered Detective Pena, "Just a bunch of heartthrob hunks and two girls who came to answer the AD"

The girl was annoyed, knowing that this was a silly scheme of her uncle to give her protection, "This is my niece, "Alison Pena" explained Detective Pena, "My brother asked me to take care of her after she almost got mugged."

"Tio" Alison replied, "It was a date, Hugo was a bit clingy and was in my personal space, but it was only one date. We broke up the day after."

Missy, Vienna, and NSYNC were a bit confused about what's going on.

By the door, a handsome Latino in green street apparel came in through the door, "Sorry I'm late Papi" said the boy, "I had to drop off some packages at the post office"

"Axel, my son," said Detective Pena, "Here are Cousin Alison's newest assistants, "Misako" and "Vienna" and their dreamboat friends."

Axel looked at Lance and blushed, "Not just any dreamboats Papa" Axel replied with excitement, "NSYNC, I recognize Lance Bass's shiny blue eyes anywhere."

Lance removed his hood and said, "Looks like our cover is blown."

"Forgive Axel" Alison explained to Lance, "He said that you're his favorite NSYNC member. I had a feeling you might be hiding something."

"Ugh," Lance said as he froze for a moment, "I don't know what you're talking about"

Joey, Chris, Justin, and J. C looked puzzled.

Behind Detective Pena, Missy could see the links to the Pop Diva harassment "For the last four months" he explained, "Someone has been harassing pop divas. The last victim was RnB singer Nylah Nyx. These weren't just any pop divas, they were the former members of the girl group, "Paradise Beach".

Vienna explained that Paradise Beach was a popular girl group in the 1970s, they consisted of, "Nylah Nyx", Remi Hill, Laila Beake, Adelyn Dorsey, and Nylah's younger sister, "Makenzie Hobbes"., "Though there was another member" recalled Vienna, "But I can't remember who it is"

At Studio 75, they met up with actor, "Charleigh Carlisle" who was going to be the secondary guest for the show Saturday night. She told them that she hasn't been harassed by the Pop Diva harasser, only the members of Paradise Beach, which was pretty suspicious to them.

Alondra Sillard coming into the studio with a coffee when she spots the world-famous boy band, "The legendary NSYNC" Alondra said as she hugged them, "I have coworkers with kids who are big fans of you guys."

"Some of our fans are crazy teens," Justin said.

Then Alondra asked them for a favor, "How about you be my third act for the show Saturday night?" she asked, "Because my coworkers kids are dying to meet you."

"Just as long as the kids don't misbehave," Alison said, "They can join."

"Anyway," said J. C, "We came here to talk about what's happening with Paradise Beach."

The words from J. C's triggered a memory of Alondra. From her purse, she got out an old picture from the early 70s. In the picture, Chris could tell that something was off. While the other Paradise Beach members were smiling, Alondra just frowned, "Who am I kidding" "That's not a good picture of me."

Alondra froze for a minute and took off.

As they got to their dressing room, they got a bouquet with a note.

Dear NSYNC

Stay Away from the other guests

Or else I'll tell Lou Pearlman about your little scheme

signed, The Pop Diva Harasser.

"Wait," said Alison, "Lou Pearlman doesn't know you in The Coconut Apartment."

"I'm afraid not" replied Joey, "It was his idea to let us stay in The Marlow Apartments, but we didn't know about the crazy fans there."

"We decided to secretly find a new building to avoid distractions."

"Speaking of distractions" Missy replied, "We need to stop distracting ourselves from real estate plans and catch that harasser."
