Noone's POV:
"Get outta here, Janja!" Said Kopa. "Come on, Kopa. It was just one gazelle." Said Janja. "Okay. Okay. See, we're back in the outlands! You happy? Man, this Kopa is worse than Kion." "And this time, stay there!" Shouted Bunga. "Nice work everybody. Let's go" Said Kopa as he and the lion guard started to leave. Once the guard was gone Janja turned his head towards Tano and Chungu "Alight" Said Janga before turning to Cheezi and Nne "Come on, fellas." "Whuh? Where are we going Janja?" Asked Cheezi.
"Where else? To get that gazelle." Said Janja as he started to advance forward. "Um... Back in the Pride Lands?" Said Chungu confused. "Uh, Janja? Didn't the Lion Guard tell us to stay out of the Pride Lands?" Asked Cheezi. "Yeah. And since when do we take orders from the Lion Guard?" Questioned Janja. "Um... Since never unless Kion brought us food?" Asked Chungu.
"*Janja laughing* Huh?" Said Kopa. "Huh... Hapanna. Looks like Janja and his clan are heading back into the Pride Lands" Said Ono. "What? Don't they know when they've been beaten?" Asked Bunga. "Guess they're not giving up today." Said Beshte. "Ugh! Those hyenas!" Complained Fuli. "C'mon Lion Guard. Let's go! Till the Pride Lands end..." Said Kopa being joined by the rest of the Lion Guard "Lion Guard defend!" The Lion Guard shouted together.
Janja's POV:
"Spread out, boys." I said. I don't see that gazelle nowhere!" Said Chungu. "You sure about this, Janja? We were just chased out of the Pride Lands." Said Cheezi. "So if I want to go into the Pride Lands, we go into the Pride Lands!" I Said. "Janja!" Said a female voice from behind me. "What do you think you're doing in the Pride Lands?" "*Chuckles* Nala, is this the Pride Lands? I must have got turned around. I would never go where I'm not welcome." I said.
"But Janja, you just said..." Started Cheezi. "Stuff it, fur-brain!" I whispered to Cheezi. "The Outlands are that way." Said Queen Nala. "Yeah... So we keep hearin'." I said. "So go." Said Nala. "Uh, I think she means it, Janja." Said Chungu. "Relax. She ain't so tough. Out here all alone. Outnumbered." I said as me and my clan started to surround here. "You sure you want to do this, Janja?" Asked Nala. "Oh, I'm sure. The question is... Are you?" I inquired. Soon we had her trapped and cornered when suddenly Kopa showed up.
"We've got you... Mom!" Shouted Kopa. "Kopa!" Shouted Nala.
Kopa's POV:
"No!" I shouted as Janja and his hyenas were growling and attacking Nala(My blood adoptive mother). "Get away from my Mom! *RROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRR!*" "Thank you Kopa." Said Nala. "Of course, Mom!" I said. "Un-Bunga-lievable!" Said Bunga. Soon the ground started shaking. "What's the kerbubble?" Asked Beshte. "Kopa, your Roar... It's coming back towards us!" Shouted Fuli. Soon we were running away from the Roar of the elders when the ground broke open and my mom fell through.
"Mom!" I shouted in fear before running to her. "Mom!" "Kopa?" Said Nala. "Hang on!" I said as I started reaching down to grab her. "Almost... Got you! Mom, are you ok?" "I'm all right, Kopa. Thanks to you." Said Nala. "I almost lost you." I Said. "Kopa! Nala!" Shouted Fuli. "You're not hurt, are you?" Asked Beshte. "We're Fine. "I'll say it again, Un-Bunga-lievable." Said Bunga. "It sure was.*Sighs* Is everyone ok?" I asked. "Yup." Said Bunga. "Yes." Said Fuli. "Me, too." Said Beshte. "Affirmative." Said Ono. "Huh?" Said Bunga. "Oh..." Said Fuli.
"What? What are you all staring at?" Asked Ono as a feather landed on Ono. "Oh, strange. That looks like one of my feathers." "Should we say something?" Asked Bunga. "I wouldn't." Said Fuli. "Maybe he won't notice." Said Beshte. "Notice what? Huh, funny, suddenly my head's kinda cold." Said Ono. "Hevi Kabisa. Last time the Roar came back at me was when Kion used the roar in anger." I said.
{Lion Guard Liar}
"What's the big deal about a few missing feathers? They'll grow back, right?" Asked Ono. "That's the spirit, Ono!" Said Beshte. "Oh, no! That's me?" Freaked ono. "Yeah, pretty much." Said Fuli. "What are all the other egrets going to say? You think they'll notice?" Asked Ono worried. "Oh, they'll definitely notice. It's impossible not to notice. I mean everyone's going to notice." Said Bunga. "*clears thought* Bunga." Said Fuli. "I mean no one's going to notice. I barely noticed." Said Bunga correcting himself.
"*Sighs*My head looks weird without feathers." Said Ono. "Nah! Just looks smooth like a hippo's backside." Said Beshte. "My head looks like a hippo bottom. That's something to celebrate." Said Ono in annoyance. "You look fine from below. As long as you fly higher than everyone, they'll never know." Said Bunga. "And if I don't fly higher?" Asked Bunga. "Well, then you'll stand out!" Shouted Bunga.
(Insert Song: Stand up, Stand Out by Beau Black)
Bunga:
"Fitting in is Overrated, I'd rather be appreciated.
What better way to
shout you're here
Than have a head
like a hippo rear."
"Bunga, that doesn't make me feel better." Said Ono.
Bunga:
"Giraffes stand out
in a Zebra herd
Elk can't hide
in a flock of birds
With that head
you can't hide from view
Then again, who'd want to?"
"Well, there's predators for one" Commented Ono.
Bunga:
You gotta
stand up, stand out!
Let the Pride lands
hear your shout
Be proud, be free
To be the way
that you wanna be
If weird is better,
then your the best
Totally stand out
from the rest
Lucky you
your head's unique
Looks like a rock that grew a beak"
"*Sighs* It does?" Said Ono in confusion.
Bunga:

(End of Stand up, Stand Out by Beau Black)
"Right Kopa?" Bunga asked. "Kopa?" "Huh? Yeah." I responded. "Ono looks great." "Well, Obviously he didn't look." Said Bunga. "So what are you looking at, Kopa?... Yeesh... Scar destroying his Lion Guard with the Roar. My uncles say Scar was the worst lion ever! I still can't believe Kion almost destroyed us with the Roar... That he almost repeat what scar did. Good thing your the one with the Roar now, huh?" "Yeah... Good thing." I said. "Lion Guard?" asked Zazu. "Ah, there you are! Thank goodness."
"Zazu?" Asked Fuli. "What are doing here?" "Ono's job, apparently." Said Zazu. "There's been a rockslide. No one was injured, but it cut the giraffes off from there watering hole." "Oh, no." Said Ono. "*Scoffs* Oh, yes Ono." Said Zazu. "Hevi Kabisa!." I said. "You would have known had you been on the lookout." Said Zazu before seeing Ono. "Oh..." "There's nothin' wrong with him. He stands out!" Said Bunga. "Indeed. In any case, the giraffes need your help." Said Zazu. "Right. We're on it." I said before beginning our slogan. "Till the Pride lands end..." "Lion Guard... " Started the Guard. "Ono? You coming?" Asked Fuli. "Um, I'm not sure." Said Ono.
"You gotta come" Said Beshte. "You're the keenest of sight." "Beshte's right, Ono." I said. "Come on. We need you." "You heard Kopa. Duty calls. Mustn't dawdle. Spit spot" Said Zazu as he began to push Ono towards us. "Whoa! Okay! Okay!" Said Ono. "Lion Guard defend." "*chuckles* Zazu can be very persuasive." Commented Fuli. "Definitely." I said. "Now let's go"
{Time Skip}
"At least the Giraffes are all waiting patiently." Said Beshte. "For now." Said Fuli. "Hey wait your turn egg-head!" Said Shingo. "Egg-head? Is that a reference to how smart I am?" Asked Ono hoping it wasn't a reference to his head actually looking like an egg. "*Laughs* No, It's a reference to your head looking like an egg!" Said Twiga *Both Shingo and Twiga laugh while Ono groans.* "Hey, don't call Ono an egg-head." Said Fuli as she defended Ono. "Yeah! His head looks more like a hippo bottom!" Said Bunga.
'Not helping Bunga, that just makes it me want to laugh more.' I thought. "Uh, thanks, Bunga." Said Ono agitated "The rocks have blocked the only way in." Said Shingo.
"Hmm." I said as I thought. "Oh, yeah! This is an easy one." Said Bunga. "You can just use the roar and blast the rocks away!" "Uh, I have a better idea." I said. Um... Beshte! If you can move the big rock, it'll open up the whole thing." "Um... Maybe..." Said Beshte. "Come on, Kopa." Said Bunga. "Just use the Roar! Use the Roar! Use the Roar! Use the Roar!"
"Bunga, we are trying this first." I said. "Beshte?" "You got it, Kopa." Said Beshte. "Everbody stand back." I Said. We don't want any rocks to hit anybody." "Twende kiboko! *Grunts*" Said Beshte. "Good news, giraffies! Your watering hole's back open." Said Bunga. "Plenty of water for everyone!" "It worked. huzzah! I'm thirsty" Said Shingo. "Nice work, Beshte." I Said. "Thanks, Kopa." "Oh-oh! Now what?" Asked Bunga. We approached the ledge of a cliff. Ono decided to fly down to see the problem.
"Don't worry, little guy, we'll get you to safety." Said Ono. "Somehow." "He's a klipspringer!" Said Bunga. Can't he just jump to the other side?" "I think the poor little guy's too scared to move." Said Beshte. "We'll have to go get him." I said. "The water's moving to for me Kopa." Said Beshte. "And it's too wet for me." Said Fuli. "So just stop the water. You could do it with the Roar." Said Bunga.
"No, not the Roar. Um... I have a better Idea." I said before turning to Beshte. "Beshte! That dead tree! We can use that to get to him!" "Gotcha! Twende Kiboko!" Shouted Beshte. "Thanks, Beshte. I'll go get the klipspringer." I said. "Screams* Whoa! Oh-no!" "Kion! We'll save you." Said Bunga. "Yeah!" Said Beshte. "No! Go back!" I said. "The wood's rotten... *Me, Bunga, Beshte, & Fuli scream* *Ono grunts as some wood hits him* *The baby Klipspringer bleats as he jumps to safety* *Me, Bunga, Beshte, & Fuli pant as we swim to shore* Hey, look! We did it!" I said in happiness "Yeah, great." Said Fuli before trying to shake off the water.
"At least we're all in one piece." Said Ono. "Hey, Ono!" Said Yangeyange. "Oh, no." Said Ono. "I knew this would happen" "What's with your feathers?" Asked Yangeyange. "Your bald at both ends!" "I know, I... What? Hapana! My tail feathers! " Said Ono. "that chunk of wood must've knocked them off!" "At least now everything matches." Said Bunga. "*Whines* This is so embarrassing." Said Ono.
"Hey, Kopa? How come you didn't use the Roar back there?" Asked Bunga. "No reason." I replied. "Aw, come on! You can tell me." Said Bunga. "After what happened with my mom, I'm afraid I might hurt someone else with the Roar. She is both my blood-related mom and adoptive mom. And I don't want that to happen again." I said. "Say what? Kopa! It's not like you did that on purpose." Said Bunga.
"I know, Bunga. But that's the problem." I said. "I couldn't control it! I don't know if i should ever use the Roar again. It's the same thing that happened with Kion when he snapped at Jasiri for insulting Vitani back at the watering hole that used to belong to Zira and her family back when I was brainwashed by Zira into thinking she was my mom. The watering hole that i gave to Jasiri and her clan."
"Kopa you are not like Kion- Wait?! what?! Never use the Roar again?!" shouted Bunga in shock. "If you never got the Roar that day we wouldn't be speaking. You, Me, Beshte, Fuli, Ono, Even Jasiri would be dead if Kion's Roar wasn't transferred to you and stayed with him. As soon as Kion finished using the Roar to destroy us he would have lost it forever and history would have repeated itself!" "Bunga! Shh!" I said. "Tell me you're joking. Never use the Roar again?" Said Bunga. "*Chuckles nervously* You're joking, right?"
"Bunga, I..." I said. "Kopa, you're leader of the Lion guard." Said Bunga. "You're the Pride Lands' fiercest! You gotta use the Roar! When the situation can't be solved by other means, you use it. Zuka Zama, right?" Said Bunga. "*Sighs* Zuka Zama. Pop up. Dive in. You sang a song about it when Tiifu asked what Zuka Zama is. Kion told me about the day he received the Roar in great detail. So sure why not." I said smiling. "There ya go. Glad I could help- Wait! Kion told you everything that happened that day in great detail from his perspective?!" Asked Bunga in shock.
"He did. You were second best to Vitani when it came to being brave in his eyes. He would have never chosen you if Vitani hadn't refused and recommended you instead. He even agreed with Kiara about you being both Brave and Stupid. Oh and that wasn't a compliment Kiara gave you. It was an insult." I Said. "Another problem solved by Bunga the Wise." Said Bunga "Why would you call yourself Bunga the Wise?" I asked.
"Oh, It happened when I plugged a dam with a stuck. Rafiki then Said that Honey badgers are the wisest animals in the Pride Lands. I ran off, caused a bunch of problems, only to learn that I didn't hear everything Rafiki had to say. He said that Honey Badgers are only the wisest animals when they think things through." Said Bunga. "Anyways, now I'm going to help Ono."
"Grandfather Mufasa?" I asked. "Yes, Kopa." Said Mufasa. "I'm here." "Before we begin... I have a question for you." I said. "Very, well Kopa. What is it you wish to know?" Asked Mufasa. "Have you and Kion ever talked to each other?" I asked. "I almost was able to communicate with him, but he was unable to see me when I called out to him. I called out to him at the same time as Vitani. After that day he went to Vitani for advice when he needed it. I have had no connection to him as he had forgotten me. He had forgotten me from the day he met Vitani because that was the day he had started forget himself." Said Mufasa.
"Ok thanks." I said. "Now, what is it you need?" Asked Mufasa. "I'm worried about the Roar. The last time I used it, I was really angry." I said. "And the same thing happened to me that happened to Kion. It came back at us. But unlike when it came back at us when Kion used it in the outlands, it caused so much destruction when I used it." "The Roar of the Elders is very powerful." Said Mufasa "I know. I've seen it first hand. And that's why I'm thinking..." I said. "*Sighs* Maybe I shouldn't use it again. I... I'm worried that I might turn into Kion or Scar"
"Scar only cared for himself, While Kion only cared about both himself and Vitani. Scar's selfishness fueled his anger. Kion's anger, on the other hand, was fueled by both selfishness and his developing love for Vitani. But Ushari's venom with-in his scar pushed him overboard onto the path of his Idle. Why were you angry, Kopa?" Asked Mufasa. "Janja and his hyenas. They were attacking my mom. I was so mad at them when I used the Roar! I lost control. Just like Kion did with Jasiri in the outland at the water hole. When I lost control... I almost lost my mom because of it. I almost killed my mom!" I said.
"Scar never cared for anyone else the way you. And Kion never cared about anyone else the way he cared for Vitani after he met. Before he met Vitani Kion did care for many. But, he hated Kiara. He always had a thirst for the throne. Vitani only fueled his thirst to be king and his jealousy over Kiara. She feed his hate with her own beliefs. They had a crush on each other from day one. It grew slowly into love and greed. Now perhaps you should speak with the one you care so much about." Said Mufasa.
"Right." I said. "I will. Thank you, Grandfather." Mufasa disappeared
Noone's POV:
"The flood plans belong to the crocodiles now!" Said Makuu. Makuu's crocs attacked. "*Makuu Laughing* That's right, bushbucks! Leave!" "Now see here!" Said Thurston as Nguchiro ran past him. "I was drinking that! *Makuu growls at Thruston* Oh, dear! Panic and run! Panic and Run!" "*Makuu chuckles* That's right, run!" Shouted Makuu. "And tell all your friends. The flood plains now belong to the crocodiles!" Soon the flood plains were only filled with crocodiles
Nguchiro was still running as fast as he could. "Whoa!" Said Fuli before speeding off to catch Nguchiro. when she caught him she held her paw in his face preventing him from going forward. "Hey, are you ok?" "*Nguchira pants*Mkuu and the crocs." Said Nguchiro. "They took over... *Nguchira gulps* the Flood plains." "Mkuu...Don't worry. The Lion Guard will take care of this.
{Lion Guard lair}
"Oh, I don't know about this, Bunga." Said Ono. "Trust me. Almost done. Just a little more off the top." Said Bunga. "Poa! It's a whole new look, Ono." Said Beshte. "Is that good?" Asked Ono. "Shh! I'm trying to get the sides even. There." Said Bunga before turning the rock Ono was on around so that Ono's back was facing him. "Now let's see what i can do about these tail feathers." "Guys!" Said Fuli. "Have a seat. Be with you in a minute." Said Bunga. "What is that?" Asked Fuli. "Whatever. Listen Mkuu and his crocs just took over the Flood Plains!" Said Fuli. "He can't do that!" Said Beshte. "A lot of animals depend on those plains."
"Exactly. We gotta get down there." Said Fuli "Ono, find Kopa, tell him to meet us at the Flood Plains." "Affirmative." Said Ono as he flew off to find Kopa. "Careful, Ono! Shouted Bunga towards Ono. "That's a Bunga original!"
"Someone's looking for trouble." Said Mkuu to his fellow crocs. "All right, Mkuu, you've had your fun." Said Fuli. "Now it's time to leave." "Get out, or we'll throw you out." Said Bunga. "*Mkuu Chuckles* Without your fearless leader?" Asked Mkuu. "Or... Or should I say, your Roar-less leader?" "Hmm..." Said the Fuli, Bunga, and Beshte. "Oh? You didn't hear?" Asked Mkuu. "*Mkuu chuckles* Mighty Kopa, leader of the Lion Guard, too much a coward to use his Roar."
"I don't know what you're talking about Mkuu." Said Fuli. "But if you think the Lion Guard needs the Roar to defeat you, you're sadly mistaken." "*Mkuu laughs* We'll see about that. *Mkuu chuckles*" Said Mkuu. "I'll take Mkuu." Said Fuli. "Think you two can handle the rest?" "You know it, Fuli!" Said Beshte as he launched Bunga into the air. "Zuka Zama!" Said Bunga as he landed on a croc's head and started riding its snout. "Take that!" "Twendi kiboko!" Said Beshte as he charged at two crocs.
Kopa's POV:
"And then I saw you surrounded by hyenas and it made me so angry. I know I'm not supposed to use the Roar in anger. But I did. Now, I have a double experience of the backlash. the first time was before I had the Roar and Kion was leading the Guard, back when he and I first met. The Roar came running back at me, Kion, and the Outsiders. This time I have the Roar and I am the leader of the Lion Guard. Both times the Roar came right back at us looking like angry running lions." I said. "I know, Kopa I was there- Wait, what?! This happened before with Kion?! He used the Roar in anger when he was messing around with Zira?! And it did the same thing it did to us?!" Said Nala in shock.
"So what, I want to know is... Can you ever forgive me?" I asked. "Forgive you? There's nothing to forgive. You were saving my life. You won't turn Into Kion." Said Nala. "But the Roar created an earthquake. And you fell in. I almost killed you." I said. "You helped me out of there." Said Nala. "I know but... Seeing you like that..." I said "*I Sigh* Ever since, I've been afraid to use the Roar." "Kopa, the Roar is part of who you are. You may not have had it as long as Kion did but you can't just stop using it." Said Nala.
"But how do you know I won't use the Roar in anger again and hurt someone." I said. "Because I know you." Said Nala. "I trust you." "Kopa! Kopa! It's Mkuu!" Said Ono. "Mkuu. What's he done this... Uh, Ono?" I asked. "What's on your head?" "It's a Bunga original." Said Ono. "I'll explain on the way. Follow me!"
"Mkuu! These Flood Plains aren't yours!" I said. "Your welcome to use them, as are all the animals of the Pride Lands!" Said Nala. "And if you're not willing to share, then it's time to leave." I said. "That's right! You heard Kopa and Queen Nala." Said Bunga "Clear out! The Flood Plains don't belong to you!" "*Mkuu Laughs* Sure looks like it to me." Said Mkuu. "We crocodiles keep what we take." Two crocodiles jumped and trapped Nala. "The Queen!" Shouted Ono. "Mom!"
I was about to use the roar in anger before realizing what I was doing. "No. Not in anger." I said. "Mkuu..." "What are going to do, Kopa?" Taunted Mkuu. "Roar at me? And risk hurting your mom? Again?" I was about to fall for his taunt before calming down. "Kopa, trust yourself." Said Nala. *RRROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRSSS* "Poa!" Said Beshte. "Next time I say go, you leave! *RRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRSSS*" I Said. I watched as Mkuu and his crocs went flying. "That was Un-Bunga-lievable!" Said Bunga.
"Poa! It sure was." Said Beshte. "I didn't know you could do that with the Roar, Kopa." Said Fuli. "Neither did I." I said. "Guess I just had to have a little faith in myself." "I've all ways had faith in you." Said Nala. "Hey, guys! Look!" Said Ono. "Aw! You lost your headpiece." Said Fuli. "I can't make you another one." Said Bunga. "No need. Look!" Said Ono. "My feathers have already started to grow back. I'll be back to looking like normal egret in no time!" "Ono! Check it out!" Said Yangeyange. "Look at that, Ono." Said Beshte. "You started a trend!" Said Beshte. "Oh!" Replied Ono "I suppose I did."
