Shadowsplash's Spirit

Ashenstar is given a prophecy when he first receives his nine lives. He then in determined to look for the kit that is spoken of in the prophecy. Shadowkit is an ordinary kit in ThunderClan ready to become an apprentice even though she is only three moons old. She is overlooked by all the cats in ThunderClan, even her own father. Will she stay her sister's "shadow" forever?

Prologue:

Ashenstar stood before the nine cats who had given him his nine lives. They had told him they had something important to say, he was just now waiting for them to say it.

"I see no future for the clans." Mothwillow suddenly announced. Even though she was blind-even in StarClan- she saw more than any other cat.

"What does that mean?" Ashenstar asked her. He was becoming worried. "What must I do?"

"When one sees no future, the only thing one can do is the next right thing." Mothwillow meowed and then disappear.

"But wait- what's the right thing?" Ashenstar pleaded. "Why don't you see a future?"

"The kit will come and bring the light that will drive out the darkness in the clans. Only then will we see the future." An ominous voice hissed. Ashenstar woke up gasping next to the Moonpool.

"Let's go." One of the medicine cats, Coolrunner meowed and led Ashenstar away.

Badgerear- small black tom with white ears and yellow eyes

Weaslewing- dark brown she-cat with white spots and amber eyes apprentice, Palepaw- pale brown she-cat with cream and ginger splotches and amber eyes
