The leaves were rustling, creating a macabre, eerie sound. The chilly december night only served to amplify the shortcomings of the tedious landscape. It seemed for all intended purposes a desolate, unremarkable place.

However there was a silver lining, a saving grace known only to the intellectual alien watching the sight from above. A small house, or rather the inhabitant of that small house: the elusive Mew Lettuce.

And sayd mew had a strange, almost mystical effect on Pie, making the warrior alien muse" How she can reduce me from a devoted soldier to an enamoured earth-puppy the likes of Kisshu. And to think i believed her powerless, a weakling..."

Mew Lettuce has certainly proved herself. Although Pie could see she did not have the stomach for war, her attacks were powerful, her fighting spirit commendable. She looked so frail, could easily have been overlooked were it not for that spark of intelligence behind her eyes.

The attribute which makes Pie wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat not sure weather he wants to wring her neck or imprison her, make her submit to him.

The only thing that stops him from kidnapping her, from acting more fanatical than Kisshu has ever been, is the compassion lurking into her cerulean orbs. The mew understands kindness, she knows what is to fight for the ones she loves no matter the price yet at the same time to think about her enemie's dreams, the reason they are fighting for.

Pie wouldn't be surprised if she were awake right now , trying to somehow find a way to make everyone happy. That foolish little mew.

But today Pie have had enough. He was going to forcefully bring Mew Lettuce to his base, find out what makes her such a formidable opponent with an ability to metamorphose into a mermaid at the presence of mew aqua, and make her his.

So the alien waits for an opportunity. He finds Lettuce into her room, dressed in her modest lime pajama and reading a book, Shakespeare it seemed. Now was his chance.

"It is not smart to let your defences down, Mew Lettuce, especially when the enemy can surprise you with an attack".

Lettuce looks startled from her book, a fearful expression on her face.

"Pie-san, why have you come? I do not desire to fight..."

"I have come to defeat you, my soft-hearted mew, and than take you to my base as a prize. After all 'War gives the right to the conquerors to impose any condition they please upon the vanquished', does it not?"

"Pie-san, war is not the answer. Let's make peace with each other and come to an accord. I can't keep this mayham from devastating us but i can at least try, for 'I feel within me a piece above all earthly dignities, a still and quiet concience'. "

Pie smirked after hearing her reply to him in the same shakespearean way.

"I'm afraid bargaining will not work this time, my most timid opponent." says Pie and suddenly teleports her to his base.

It happened so fast Lettuce did not have a chance to use her pendant to transform.

Once inside the alien's base, Pai practically pounced on her, slamming Lettuce into the nearest wall and slowly, sensually stealing her first kiss.

In that moment he didn't see a mighty mew mes warrior, or an advocate for intergalactic peace, he saw a young girl trembling like a gazelle in his arms. Pie was intoxicated with power...

"My sweet little enemy why don't we make your stay into our base more comfortable and find you appropriate quaters for tonight?" Pie asks as he puts his hands on Lettuce's shoulders and guides her through the maze-like base to her makeshift room.

"I hope you have unpleasant nightmares, little Lettuce" Pie says while stroking her cheek tenderly.

Lettuce stares in horror at him, seemingly mute. But then her courage makes a riveting comeback.

The 'little wallflower' slaps Pie on the cheek, leaving a purple-bruise in her wake.

"Don't touch me you arrogant bastard!"

Pie's face darkens.

"I have spared you, i have courted you, i have given you a nice room. All of those could be easily taken away, mew mew" Pie spat the last words venomously.

"I-i'm sorry" Lettuce apologizes out of habit and an innate sense of self-preservation.

Pie laughts, and stares at her intensly.

Before leaving her in the oppressing silence he says in jest" For the record i am not baseborn little mew, both of my parents were married according to our customs before my conception"

Pie leaves, and Lettuce is alone.
