Prolouge A Shocking RevelationI.

It was early morning in the Pridelands. And in inside the cave of Priderock Simba was thinking. It was the day after. Kion had assembled his Lion Guard and Simba was already having second thoughts about the guard. It was true, they had been brave, and had saved Kiara, but it could have a fluke. Just a fortunate accident. Simba was still of a mind that lion's could be the ones protecting the Pridelands. He decided to go outside the cave to think.

It was a beautiful morning. And the wind blew the Lion King's orange red mane. Simba marveled at the fact that he'd been able to overthrow his evil uncle and restore the majesty of the Kingdom. Which is why he was still concerned about Kion's Guard. His son was still a cub after all, and if the wrong kind of guard was formed it could be the end of the Kingdom. Then if Kion started using his roar for the wrong kind of things he could become like his Great-Uncle Scar. He too, had been the leader of the Lion Guard but he had destroyed them in his desire to become King. And then there was Zira. She knew the power of the Roar because of her relationship with Scar. What if she convinced Kion that he deserved to be King because of the Roar? No impossible. She was banished in the Outlands. Still...

"Simba something is troubling you. Why don't you trust your son?" Asked a voice Simba hadn't heard in while. He looked up in the sky and saw his father's spirit. He decided to be honest.

"Kion is a good cub. But he is still a cub. I believe he has chosen the wrong members for his Lion Guard." Simba said quite bluntly.

"You're nothing without him." Mufasa admonished.

"My son?" Asked Simba confused.

"No your brother Kiongozi. Who you unknowingly named your son after. And you know, your Uncle Scar loved him very much." Mufasa explained.

"WHAT?!" was all Simba could manage to say.
