It was beautiful morning on the Wumpa Islands, the 8 Bandicoots, Crash, Coco, Crunch, Tawna, Ami, Liz, Megumi, and Isabella we're all doing their regular activities such as wrestling exercise, preparing for the next Cup races, sleeping, and relaxing with their pets, Polar, Pura, and Baby T, things were normal and good, until the evil Dr. Neo Cortex and his minions (Nina, N. Gin, N. Brio, N. Tropy, Tiny Tiger, Dingodile, Ripper Roo, Koala Kong, Pinstripe, the Komodo Bros, and Rilla Roo) were still upset that the Bandicoots kept foiling their plans for evil.

"Idiots! Imbeciles! Fools! I'm getting really sick of my brother and those Bandicoots interfering and foiling our plans!" roared Uka Uka, Cortex was worried.

"Please Uka Uka, it's not our fault! I mean it's not like an apocalypse or anything." Cortex said worried.

For a brief moment of silence, Uka Uka has heard apocalypse, until a flashback occurred back when he and his brother Aku Aku were humans, back then, they banished an evil being called Apo Apo.

"Apocalypse... Apocalypse... Yes! The apocalypse! That's it!" exclaimed the evil mask, Nina begins to wonder on how are they going to begin it

"How do we cause it to happen master?" said Nina, Uka Uka turns to Nina.

"Well Nina, before you, your uncle, and the rest of you were around. Long ago, my brother and I used to team up and protect the world from the wrath from a former witch doctor turned mask, the one who wanted to started the apocalypse. His name, is Apo Apo.* said Uka Uka.

Nina quickly response with a "Where is he?", in which Uka Uka left to find him, as time went on, N. Tropy switched from his regular attire to his Stone Age attire, followed by Cortex merging his DNA with N. Gin's, Tiny's, and Dingodile's, to create an ultimate weapon, in which N. Brio has launched 3 Nuke Missiles to hit 3 Targets, (Wumpa Islands, Wumpa City, and MotorWorld), once that's done, Cortex now dons an orange hazmat suit, a helmet with spikes and his N on it, and an apparatus on mouth and covering his right eye, N. Gin also appears with bits of hair that is green, but his missile is traded out for a motor, Tiny also wears a skull with a blue mohawk for a mask, armor, a blue loincloth, and boots, Dingodile also used the Evolve-o Ray to further evolve himself from his outer Dingo, to his inter Crocodile, now with a robotic hand and foot, and finally, Nina appears with her hair, now pink and reduced to a mohawk, classy clothes, and a King Chicken backpack.

"I gggg-guess I should take the other Cortex Commandos with me." said N. Brio worried to Cortex.

"Go, go on to Hot Air Skyways, you and the others will be safe." replied Cortex, in which Brio accepted Cortex's order and took the other Cortex Commandos (Ripper Roo, Kong, Pinstripe, Komodo Bros, and Rilla Roo) to a blimp and they were flown to Hot Air Skyways, leaving Cortex, Nina, N. Gin, N. Tropy, Tiny, and Dingodile behind, by the time Uka Uka returned, he brought Apo Apo

"So, your the Dr. Cortex, the one I heard so much about." said Apo Apo. In which everyone was surprised to meet Apo Apo for the 1st Time. Back with the Bandicoots, Crunch heard something.

"Huh?! What the? Are those... Missiles?!" Crunch franticly said, to in the Bandicoots knew that danger has arrived.

"Brace for impact!" said Coco, so the Bandicoot Family along with Polar and Pura all headed inside of Coco's Lab, Baby T has decided to run away to safety.

"Baby T! Come back!" said Ami worried, Crunch comforts her

"There's no time, he'll be safe, but now, to the Closet-Tron 7000! Quickly!" Crunch says as an order, so they did, and Aku Aku closes the lab's door with his magic, in which the 8 Bandicoots, along with the pet Polar Bear cub and Tiger cub all headed inside, gearing up for a terrible event, until the 3 Missiles hit the 3 targets, and everything, was turned into a desert wasteland, full of scrap and rusty metal, by the time the blasts were over, everyone emerges from the Closet-Tron 7000, Crash now wears goggles with green lens, a jacket with a sleeve ripped, a shoulder pad made of wood and spikes, and he has a red mohawk, Coco's hair was Aqua Lavender, her eye colors are orange and blue, and she was wearing her white t-shirt with armor and orange pants, Crunch is in his Evil Costume from 2008, the Nitro Squad are in their Motorsport Suits, Polar now has a pink mohawk, armor, green face paint on his face and foot, and finally, Pura is in a robotic cat suit. Aku Aku opens the doors and surveys the damage.

"Oh no! Our home, gone." said Aku Aku sadly.

"All of our friends, gone." Megumi said sadly. As everyone exited the lab, they observe the destruction, knowing that everything is gone. Crash begins to tear up in sadness, Coco also begins to cry too.

"OH OUR FRIENDS ARE GONE! GOOOOOONNE!" Coco sobs, by the time night fell, the 8 Bandicoots, Polar, Pura, and Aku Aku have set up camp. Everyone felt sad, Isabella has comfort Coco and Pura, Polar felt sad, and Crunch looked down.

"I can't believe everything is gone, our houses, our island, and evenly our friends, Pasadena, Von Clutch, Chick, Stew, Yaya, Hasty. Everyone!" exclaimed Crunch, he stood up in anger.

"Once we find out who is responsible for this, they are going to pay!" Crunch said in rage. In which the rest agreed. Aku Aku said this to his children.

"First thing in the morning, we're beginning the mission, if we're lucky, we might find any survivors." Aku Aku said leader like.
