Born into an Unforgiving World

Cries filled the air a month and a week after the nine tails attack. A seemingly emotionless ninja with silver hair was crying, seeing a baby girl with a tuft of black hair being cleaned up. 'She's... Mine...' The moment she was set in his arms, she settled and sniffed around like a new born pup fresh out the litter.

"Hello... Einjeru." For a 13-year old, most people would be flipping out, but for Kakashi, his inner wolf was reassuring him that everything would be okay. He brings her over to her mother, whom looked like she didn't want to be there.

"I assume she made it?"

"Yes, she's perfectly healthy. Why would you ask such a thing, Haruka?" No one could really see the malice behind the words Haruka had said.

There was then a steady flow of visitors ranging from Mikoto with her sons, and a couple of little girls to Guy, Pryde, and even a secret visitor. Unfortunately for Guy, he ended up meeting some teeth for being an unnecessary annoyance and causing Einjeru to fuss.

Unfortunately for Kakashi, he wouldn't have much time to bond with his pup due to missions needing to be done. He would sometimes have his summon, Truth, watch over her, or sometimes Guy or Pryde would drop in.

A few months in, patterns started to settle and Haruka was pulling some shady practices when it came to Kakashi trying to bond with Einjeru. It was getting to the point where his inner wolf was ready to snap. "I swear this woman is going to make me chew her! I want my pup!"

'I know, but Haruka has more of a backing than I do...'

"If anything happens to her... *snarl*"

'I know...' Kakashi paled at his inner wolf. Little did anyone know, Pryde would find Haruka doing something unspeakable...

"HARUKA! You're trying to kill her?!" Pryde was ready to chew Haruka for trying to harm Einjeru.

"She's my daughter! I'll do with her as I see fit! Besides, I don't see her becoming much stronger than I anyways..." Before Haruka got a chance to do anything else, Kakashi burst in and the argument began.

"Remember, she's my pup too, and I want the chance to raise her!"

"Raise her how?! All you know how to do is go on missions!"

"Every time I come home and try to hold her and bond, you make up some errand for me to run or you take her from me saying she's hungry, even though she was perfectly content in my arms."

During the argument, Pryde sneaks over and takes Einjeru to the Hatake clan house, away from the rising chakra and the arguing. Einjeru started to fuss and cry when they managed to get inside.

Sometime later, Kakashi finally manages to make it to the clan house to hear Einjeru fussing still. He sends Pryde off and holds Einjeru. It was like he had some sort of magic touch, for as soon as he got ahold of her, she sniffed him and calmed down.

Truth appeared before him, ready to chew someone. "How dare she try to harm your pup! If it wasn't for the fact you love her, and the pup technically needs her, she wouldn't be breathing much longer!"

"Calm yourself Truth. Einjeru just settled. Also, if anything it's riling my inner wolf. It took everything in me not to fursplode on her..."

"We both know, even for a baby, she really has a pure heart. This world will tear her apart in some shape, form or fashion. I pray that Haruka changes her ways. Otherwise, things will get messy for her." Little did Truth know, Haruka was in a pickle with her birth clan.

"You tried to kill an infant, your own infant! Even worse so that Kakashi had to fight with you to stop you from harming her!" Mikoto was furious that someone would even try to kill a defenseless infant, especially their own family. "You may be Obito's niece, but that's where the relationship ends. He'd be ashamed of you for trying to kill his grandniece!"

"Obito isn't here! He's dead! And it's Kakashi's fault!"

"You keep blaming Kakashi for Obito committing a noble act! You also drug the poor man and get pregnant with his child to upset the woman he truly loves, and try to kill said child! You ought to be lucky our clan doesn't disown you for those despicable acts." Mikoto was doing everything in her power not to haul off and knock Haruka to the moon. "If I find out you even remotely hurt that child in any way... I will destroy you with my bare hands."

Meanwhile in another area of the clan compound, Pryde was pacing around, ready to kill. "I'm gonna kill her Shi..."

"That is if Kakashi doesn't first..."

"He's calming Einji right now... That poor pup... She didn't ask for any of this... "

Shisui went to hold Pryde and calm her. "We know... This whole world knows, but we also know that living in this shinobi world, means living in an unforgiving one."

"I'm still gonna kill her..." Pryde was close to fursploding and chewing Haruka like a chew toy. Although, she had Shisui holding her and was exhausting every temper management technique in the book, she went wild and tried to kill Haruka.

Unfortunately for Pryde and fortunately for Haruka it failed, and it got Pryde sent to the village in the land of Iron. One of Einjerus lines of defense stripped away. Haruka grinned as it was easy to keep Einjeru away from the Uchiha clan, and she could use excuse after excuse with Kakashi on top of the missions that he keeps getting from ANBU. Little did she know that in three years, her plan to get rid of Einjeru or at least make not feel worthy enough to live in this world would become unraveled, by none other than an Uchiha...

AN: Hey all those that follow me or are reading from me for the first time, this story is based on a Discord rp that I am currently in and am borrowing some of the OCs such as Pryde from one of my partners. Here on Fanfiction she is known as Akatsuki's Kyuubi. As I introduce her other characters, I will mention them. For some that follow Angelic Strife, which was my original story for Einjeru, I have lost the zest to continue on it/am totally stuck. I hope to be able to return to it some time, but for now enjoy this new one as my rp partner helps me to explore various twists and turns in the realm of fanfiction writing. As with most fanfictions do, I will put this disclaimer... I DO NOT own Naruto. That honor belongs to Masashi Kishimoto. The only character I do own, is Einjeru, and as said earlier the other ocs belong to Akatsuki's Kyuubi, and Haruka we share. Also, my apologies for not mentioning this at the beginning of the chapter, there may be SOME abuse in these first couple chapters.
