"Come on! Throw your boulders!" Anna yelled at the Earth Giants, who have boulders in their hands, ready to throw it at the little and loud princess.
The first boulder makes contact with the dam, breaking some parts of it and in front of Anna.
"That's it!" She exclaimed.
She runs to the other side of the dam, but one of the Earth Giants throws an even bigger boulder and throws it in front of her.
Oh shit!
Anna decides to run back to where she ran from, the other side of the building.
With the dam crumbling behind her, she runs as quick as she can to the other side, and she jumps.
She falls, however, Mattias catches her.
"Got her!" He yells to Kristoff who comes to their aid.
"Anna, grab my hand!" Kristoff tells her.
When Anna grabbed Kristoff's hand, her hand that Mattias caught slips through and Anna falls into the rushing water below.
"ANNNA!"
Kristoff watched as Anna was washed away by the water, he was frozen in shock and in denial. He almost had her hand, she was almost in her hands. He watched as the mist was moving away from the forest and was replaced by the blue sky and yellow sun.
The forest is free, but there a cost, a life.
Meanwhile, Elsa rode on the Nokk, she had saved Arendelle from the dam, meaning that Anna saw her message, the truth to why the spirits forced her people out of Arendelle.
Anna saved her, and she saved Arendelle.
As she got closer to the forest, Elsa thought to herself, The forest looks beautiful with the sky open and clear. Free of the blanket of fog and clouds covering its beauty, it's...it's free. Anna, we did it. We freed the forest together.
Elsa can't help but smile as she rides closer to the forest, closer to Anna.
The journey had been worth it. Every step, every stumble. Even pushing Anna away, to protect her, it was the right thing for her to do, if she allowed Anna to come with her, then they would have been frozen together and the forest would have never been freed...
Breaking their promise they made before they entered the forest was the right thing to do.
Elsa sees a figure at the shoreline, and her smile widens. Anna, seeing her in the distance and come to meet her at the shore.
It's only as she gets closer that her smile begins to falter.
It's not Anna.
It's Kristoff.
Something's wrong.
Fear starts to enter Elsa's heart like a flood bursting in, and she urges the Nokk to go forth. Faster and further. She needs to reach Kristoff, and find out what's happened - find out where Anna is. Because every moment she's out here, her fears grow. She starts to think the worst. What if she's hurt? What if she's angry? What if...
She reaches the shore, and practically leaps from the water spirit.
"Elsa..." Kristoff says, and his voice cracks.
"Kristoff, where's Anna?" She tries to keep the panic from her words, but it doesn't work. She's never been good at hiding her emotions where Anna is concerned.
"I'm sorry Els… I tried to save her, I was so close to saving her..." He swallows, hard.
No.
No, no, no no no.
He can't mean what she thinks she means. He can't.
...He just can't.
"She led the Earth Giants into attacking the dam.. And when they started to hit it, she just...she just stood there."
Elsa doesn't move. She doesn't breathe. Frost grows over her fingertips, and she just...stands there. "Kristoff. Where is my sister."
His chin quivers. "...She's gone."
Her eyes widen
No. No! NO!
"Please tell me this isn't true."
"Elsa, I wish this was a lie, but the words that I am saying to you is the truth. I'm sorry."
3 years later
Elsa rode the Nokk to a hill where three boulders lie. The middle one was shorter from the others and it appeared to have been newly placed from the lack of cracks unlike the other two larger boulders next to it.
Elsa leapt out of the Nokk.
The queen gazed at the middle stone.
"Can I have some time alone?" She asked the Nokk, the Nokk understood her, it bowed at her and it left. She climbed the hill and stood in front of the middle stone.
She knelt beside it and ran her fingers across the stone.
"Hey, Anna… It's been three years since you've been gone. We really miss you…. I'm sorry… for pushing you away again that time. I wanted to protect you, but it didn't and now you're gone."
"But, you shouldn't be proud of me, Anna. You should be proud of us. For as long as I can remember I just wanted to do what was right. I guess I'm not quite sure what that is anymore because of this. And I thought I could throw myself back in and push you away and protect you, but ever since that day, I continue and continued to regret that decision. But, I have to keep going and do the next right thing."
Ever since Anna's passing, Elsa rebuilt Olaf, telling him what happened to Anna, but after some time he made peace with it. Elsa discovered about her feelings for Honeymaren and the two started dating. Elsa even found a way how to do her job as Queen of Arendelle and the fifth spirit. In the morning, she would leave either Kristoff or Mattias in charge of looking after the kingdom and would go to the Forest and then return at night.
"I know I say this every time I visit you, but if there was a way to bring you back, I'd give anything to do it. I won't give up like how you didn't give up on me when I ran away from Arendelle."
With those words spoken, Elsa stood up, and she began to walk away from the stones, she called for the Nokk and galloped away from the hill.
She calls for Gale and the friendly wind spirit swirls around her as she rides, "Gale, would you wind giving this message to Yelena, unfortunately, I cannot go to the Forest and help them setting up for the festival. Luckily, I asked Mattias if he could do it instead of me."
Elsa gives the wind spirit a letter and the wind spirit sends the message away.
Meanwhile, in a grassy landscape faraway from Arendelle, a man with a brown beard enters a room and removes a red book marked with a yellow star from a bookshelf. He goes down a couple steps and into a hallway filled with cells and yells.
A guard comes to him, "Take me to the Soldier."
The guard nods and he leads him to the end of the hallway, where there is a cell much bigger than the other cell.
"Open it."
"My Lord, you haven't used the Soldier in a while. The Soldier's will attack you; after all the Soldier is one of your most dangerous experiments." His guard tells him.
"I know, that is why I assigned this mission to the Soldier. The Soldier will kill anything and anyone to get the job done. Now open the cell and The Soldier will be activated."
The guard opens the cell and he goes in.
Once inside, he is met by the Soldier, who's hand are chained from the wall and tries to attack him.
"You know who I am."
The Soldier growls and snarls at him.
"Guess not, it appears you don't like it when I leave you here, that's what happens when you disobey your King's orders. Now forget about that. Time to get you activated." He says as he opens us the red book and starts to say some words
"Longing, ice, fireplace."
The Soldier starts to pull on the chains, growling at the man.
"Dawn, thirteen, benign."
The Soldier breaks the chains just in time for the man to say the last words to the Soldier in order to give the mission.
"Nine, reborn, one, dam."
The Soldier stops growling at him.
"Soldier?"
"Ready to comply, what is my mission?"
The man gives him three photographs, one photograph contains Yelena, one contains Elsa, and one contains Kristoff.
"Do you recognize them, soldier?" He asks.
"I do not." The soldier answers.
"They are your mission; your mission is to eliminate them in any way to please and if you want to, try and kill any witnesses. Do you understand?"
The Soldier nods.
"Now, here's a test to see if you are under my command. Do you love anyone?"
The Soldier answers, "I love no one."
"Good, do you have a family?"
"I don't have a family, only a mission." The Soldier tells the man.
"Now, for the last question…. Who do you serve?"
"I serve King Hans of the Southern Isles." The Soldier replied
"Perfect. Now, go and do your mission."
"Yes my King." The Soldier leaves him.
"Elsa, you have no idea what you are about to face."
OMG, will the Southern Soldier be successful on killing Elsa, Yelena, and Kristoff?
