A/N Ahoy! This is going to be a three part Ninjago story of romance and tragedy. It's written to the song, "The Copacabana (At the Copa)" by Barry Manilow. If you have not heard it before I would suggest you check it out.
We open our story in Ninjago. Nya was a showgirl, at a club called Ed and Edna's. She would wear a red headband, with yellow feathers coming up the side over her raven black hair. Her short flapper girl dress was red and sparkly.
She would merengue, and do the cha-cha, but though Nya tried to be a star on stage, sometimes she'd loose herself in the eyes of a certain bartender.
Jay Walker, had short, messy auburn hair, and electric blue eyes that sparkled. His parents owned the place, and he always tended the bar if Nya was dancing.
A few weeks ago he'd finally worked up the courage to ask her out. They'd been together ever since; they would steal kisses in between shows and shifts. Although sometimes, much to their embarrassment, a passionate kiss would show, thanks to Nya's bright red lipstick.
As Nya took her bow and began to exit the stage she saw Jay rush backstage as well to meet her.
Once there, they fell into each others arms. Nya pressed a warm kiss to his lips.
"Nya darling, you did wonderful," he said once they pulled away.
"Did you expect any different?" she replied teasingly.
"Never," he said with a smile. "I really shouldn't be back here, but I just had to see you."
"Yes," Nya said sadly, "I had better go change for the next show."
"How about after work we go check out at my new place?" he offered, brushing a stay lock of hair out of Nya's face.
"Oh yes! I can't wait to see it," she answered. "I'd better go now, wish me luck!"
"Break a leg sweetheart!" he called after her, before returning to the bar.
They were young and they had each other, who could ask for more?
This is a short chapter, very fluffy. If you like fluff I would suggest you don't come back for the next two chapters; that's when tragedy strikes. Just pretend they live happily ever after, because as the Netflix Series of Unfortunate Events says, THERE'S NO HAPPY ENDING NOT HERE AND NOT NOW, THIS TALE IS ALL SORROWS AND WOE'S... *waltz's off stage with no apparent partner* (I do not own any of these songs sadly)
