Rescue Her
Nothing but the idea belongs to me!
Remy LeBeau was used to the darker, dirtier parts of the world. As such he didn't as much as flinch as he walked into the club that put "Fifty Shade of Grey" to shame. People in cages, on leashes, and bound to walls barely caught his attention, neither did the ones fondling, whipping and licking them. He was on a mission and his vision was zeroed in on one woman.
His hand unconsciously went to his cards when he spotted her. Even though he hadn't seen her in over a year recognized her immediately. Her hair was longer, her skin paler, and she was a bit skinnier but it was definitely her. She was wearing thick-soled clunky black boots and a thong, her arms bound behind her with a shiny black latex sleeve and a silverish collar. He knew instantly that the collar was an inhibition collar to keep her mutation dormant.
As he walked closer he saw the emptiness in her eyes. It wasn't the emptiness of drugs or alcohol, it was the dissociative emptiness of someone who had been completely broken. He had to work to keep his breathing normal and demeanor calm. He couldn't risk these men knowing what he was up to.
He slipped into the chair opposite the two men dressed in ridiculously dated gold and black "pimp" suits. "So, mon amis, is this da fille?"
The larger man grinned, showing off two gold-capped teeth. "Yeah man, she's a prime commodity though, already had a couple of offers here for her, so you better have the money. Took us months to break her in."
The skinny man chuckled and winked as he smacked her ass. "Don't worry, he means her "spirit" she's still "prime" where it counts."
Remy swallowed back a curse. He grinned evilly instead, letting them believe it was because of thoughts of what to do with her instead of what he was about to do to them and this whole hellhole. "Oh, Gambit got your payment."
The men didn't have time to react as he flung two of his new razor-edged playing cards at them. Each card found the throat of one of the men and exploded. Their eyes bulged and rolled up in their heads before they fell over. Remy grabbed another card and sliced through the sleeve restricting her arms before charging it and throwing it at an empty spot in the wall, blowing it up and letting the sunlight stream in.
Quick as lightning he threw another at the other side, making sure it was enough to cause both chaos and to alert the police that, thanks to an anonymous tip, were already on their way.
He quickly covered her with his trenchcoat and scooped her up. He quickly wove through the crowd and out the door to the waiting car. As soon as he closed the door the driver pulled away and melted into the stream of five o'clock traffic. It wasn't until the car stopped at a small, green, house that the girl seemed to stir from her stupor. "Are you real?"
Remy held back tears as he replied, "Oui petite, Remy's real. He been searching for you a long time." He was rewarded with a tiny smile and he continued. "Don't worry Jubilee, you're safe now."
