My Life

Orbs, stars and moons frozen in time, surrounded by nothing but the vast blackness of infinity. While the rays pulsate through space, sinking its powers into the untouched surfaces. A small nonexistent entity floats among them, waiting for life to begin.

There`s only one first time for everything. When Ariana breathed life for the first time, it was the perfect temperature. Flowers and trees sensing blossom season, for the loveliest of feathers was about arrive on the earth.

She liked making beautiful sounds and bring joy to an uncountable amount of ants. A gift from an unknown source was well developed from an early age. Like a rough diamond, set as a precursor for future achievements.

Falling hammers, sweetest oceans filled with red wine. Along the way a man so different and much older taught her the unfathomable meaning of love. Stemming from a shared passion for art, two souls coalesced together into a seemingly unbreakable bond that would only grow stronger as time went on. Bell ringing soon could be heard all around the empty spring city, indicating the eternal pact to be signed.

Shortly after, darkness engulfed her now broken mind and body. A throbbing beat ran painfully through her skull. Vivid images of torturous smiles and laughter plagued her dreams. Tender and affectionate touches were perceived as cold hands only with harm in mind. It felt like there was nothing to help her get out of this void, the malicious voice, only she could hear seemed to drag her down even further. She gave up all hope, the evil that`s been planted in her head erased all positive memories she ever made. It was just too overwhelming. She didn`t talk, nor did she sing anymore. Not even her love could get to her, so he left. Not that he didn`t care, but sometimes there`s only so much you can do and he soon moved on.

The needle entered her vein and the poison was released, quickly entering her bloodstream. Ever since she was left all alone, she started to experiment with different substances in order to relief her punished brain. At first, everything worked fine for her, but quickly she found herself trapped in the brown hell like anybody who tries to dance with the inviting dragon. It became a self-destructive means to an end. With cracked lips and bloody arms, the winter froze her rotting heart and the blooming plants finally lost their last leaves.

Groggy eyes darted across the unfamiliar room, no one was there and it was completely quiet. She slowly stood up and noticed pictures of everything she ever enjoyed framed on the wall. Such a strange place this was, she wandered aimlessly around the small house for a while looking for anything to maybe tell her what was going on. She walked through a door and found herself standing in front of a big meadow surrounded by trees. The scars on her arms have somehow heeled and she could taste salt in her mouth. The grass beneath her feet smelled fresh and healthy and her lungs didn`t hurt anymore. The endless suffering appeared to have stopped, yet she couldn`t recall how and why. All she remembered was waking up in this peaceful place. She didn`t know, feeling the soft breeze against her face would be the last sensation before the spark ignited inside her. She became one with the stars again.
