The day was calm, the birds all sang their songs the animals throughout the forest all went about their day. In a clearing, filled with a small waterfall glittered in the sunlight, flowers of all colors covered the luscious green grass, a boy of raven feathered black hair sat against the rock of the small pond. He was watching an elegant bird with a letter swoop around slowly, it held a letter to its feet. The bird swooped closer and closer to the boy, reaching out the white and black bird landed like a prince on a throne at the arm of the young boy.

"Aren't you a magnificent bird," the boy praised when the bird preened himself, "Thank you for delivering this to me." The boy smiled as the bird squeaked and bowed his head, and the letter was being untied.

The young boy petted the bird as he opened the letter addressed to him.

Dear Heir Potter,

We have received your letter and are excited to inform you have been accepted into the Ancient school of Deipnias. It is of great honour to be accepted in our ancient school, where you can thrive and learn the great art of Magic. As you might know only Heirs may enter the long lost city. In the ancient tradition Apollo broke feast with the ancient city and now we continue the tradition with our new class.

Your adopted family will come and take you to the city, it will be your home for the duration of your stay and the family will be there to guide and take care of you. As it is you can't leave during the school year only the summer with your adopted family. The school year begins August first, and if you accept the great owl your letter was sent will be yours.

Congratulations young Heir,

Zephine Dorea

Headmistress, of Ancient School of Deipnias

The young Heir sat with a huge smile rereading the letter. After the third read he looked up at the owl who seated himself on the boy's shoulder. "I think we have to share the news to my parents."

The Potter Heir and his new owl headed over to the Potter manor where his brother and parents were. As he came up he found his father and brother laughing over something trivial and his mother in the kitchen probably making lunch. He waited in the background just as he had been even though being the eldest. They only had eyes for his younger brother. It was sad but luckily he had his godfather. It was him who took him down to Gringotts when he was seven. It was then he became Heir to the two wealthiest and powerful Ancient and Noble Houses.

That was then a year ago when he came up with the idea of finding out if the school for heir was just a thing or a myth. And boy was he surprised, the choosing for students is small and from all countries. They were stuff of legends and he was excited to day that it was true. The school and the lost city were real and not legend.

Lunch was served and the young boy was pulled out of his thoughts as he began to eat. "Mum, dad."

"Just a second honey, your brother is talking." His mum said focusing back to his younger brother, there was only 4 years apart. One had their father's looks and their mother's eyes and the other, the younger, had their mother's looks and their father's eyes.

"Yes son, what is it?" His father asked, a bit annoyed like usual.

Now that he had both their attention his time was short. "Mum, Dad, a year ago I sent a letter out to Deipnias and well," he paused pulling out the letter and the magnificent owl swooped down. "I got accepted." He finished handing his letter to his mother.

"How exciting love, we will have to buy school supplies."

"Why do you not want to go to Hogwarts in two years? His dad asked, it was a long talk to begin with and his father laughed at him the first time he said he didn't want to go to Hogwarts.

"Dad, I have mentioned this before, I have already finished all seven years of study from your old school books and both family libraries of my heirships. Plus it will give time for you guys to focus on Linfred when he starts his Training." He said adding emphasis on the training part, since his brother turned five last May.

"Honey, you must understand the importance of your brother," his mother scolded him.

"Son, I understand and it's amazing that you got in, I am proud of you. We are just doing our job to make sure Lin gets what he needs." His father said, "tell you what your birthday is a week away, your mother and I will take you out shopping for your school supplies and get you a birthday would just have to ask Sirius if he could watch Lin for us."

"Really?" he asked skeptically, "you mean a whole day?"

He smiled, filing with hope that he knew would be just broken away like all their other promises. But he saw the genuine smiles on his parents face and couldn't help the feeling. A whole day with his parents. The rest of lunch actually stayed on him, and he told his parents about Deipnias. The way the school year works, the adopted family while he is staying there, his new owl as well with him. Overall he had fun.

The raven haired boy knew not to give his hopes up, but he counted down the days till his ninth birthday. He even wrote his godfather Sirius a bout and even warned him the same thing he already knew.

Seven turned into five which turned into two, which then led him to today, July 31st. His ninth birthday, a couple days ago he asked what their plans were for today and they said around eight after breakfast they would head to Diagon Alley. From there they would spend the day with him.

The emerald eye boy made sure he was smartly dressed for an heir in his favorite robes and outfit before heading down to the small dining room where it was just for family. But once he got there, no one was even there. Not giving his hopes up just yet he ran to the main dining room thinking, just wish they would be there surprising him.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No food, no parents, no Lin. With tears and an empty hole we walked through an abandoned home, to find in one sitting room in the family wing on the table. A note.

"Morning Honey, we got invited over for breakfast at the Weasley's and Lin was dieing to go play with his friend. Love, mom and dad." The boy read aloud as hollow, as one could become. "Not even a Happy Birthday on the note. No birthday waffle like Lin got. Like they care I will be gone tomorrow."

Now the nine year old was fuming, after everything Lin gets everything, but after so many empty promises from his parents he should be used to this. He should. Shouldn't he? But why did it always hurt this much? He always got pushed to the side. This though it was too much, his own birthday. The young boy never noticed it was his scream, his magic that destroyed the room he was in. It was too much.

At the same time in the main foyer, Sirius Black entered the Potter House. He felt it first then heard the screams. He was already there in an instant, climbing the stairs two even three at a time, running full speed to the family lounge.

What he found shocked him, flames of all kinds, grays, blues, greens, licked the walls. Glass covered everywhere. Furniture mauled by an unseen animal, the wooden table in splinters. In the center of the room on his knees facing away from Sirius was a young boy who shouldn't be able to do all this damage. Tentatively Srius took a step. The flames died down instantly, he knew he was here.

"Careful, Black, it's another one." The painting of the boy's grandfather that hung above the mantle of the fireplace, the one the young boy was named after.

"How long?" Sirius whispered, he knew these episodes having to deal with them was hard on him. So much rage, and pent up emotions from a young age caused this. The boy suffers and Sirius too along with him. He sits and talks his godson through things while he lets all his emotions lose.

"Not long just before you showed up."

Careful, like walking on eggshells, even though he was walking on glass in the room, he made it to the young boy of nine. Sirius slowly made it to the ground next to the sobbing boy whispering words to the nine year old. In a millisecond, too quick Sirius almost fell over as the young boy jumped into his arms. Burying his sobbing face into his shoulder. "Why, Sirius, Why?" The muffled question was asked after a significant amount of time passed.

"I don't know Charlus, I don't know." Sirius whispered, saying the boy's middle name, while placing a kiss on the boy's head. "Come on we have a birthday to celebrate. And a present to give to you." He brought the young boy up to his feet with him and the two left the family lounge with broken glass, and scorch marks on the walls, evident in the room.

"I was thinking we go to Paris for the day, how does that sound, pup?" The boy gave an excited yes as the two apperated out of the house, a fun day planned.

After lunch, and shopping, and more shopping, Sirius took his godson to the ministry and other places. It was a time where the birthday boy didn't have to remember life, where he could smile and laugh. Even shouted out in the magical restaurant, very fine dinning, when his godson informed him of being accepted. It was a day to remember.

After the festivities the two went to the Chaumière Black a small thatched cottage in the countryside. It was their go to place even though the Black have other stately homes all over. When a tiered, jet lagged boy came into the cottage he was greeted with one long wrapped present on the table.

Oh he knew exactly what it was by the look of it, but bouncing in excitement was the way to go. After getting a nod from his godfather he scurried over throwing cation to the wind. Paper was thrown about the room as the boy hurried to the item inside. "A Nimbus 200?" he said looking at the golden encrypted words, "I have never heard of it."

"I sure hope you didn't" Sirius said with a chuckle "it is set to come out to market in November 90."

"So how is it sitting here?"

"It is sitting here, because being the main investor in the company I am able to get it early. If I pull some strings. Right now at this moment only the professional teams have them."

"Awesome," the boy breathed out with his emerald eyes shining bright.

"I know I am Awesome," Sirius joked getting a punch from the boy "wanna take it for a fly?"

Before he even got the question out the young boy was at the door with Sirius' broom waiting. Which is all they did for the rest of the time the sun was up. Laughter filled the air as the two played and raced each other, with the occasional death defying trick. As the sun went down and the stars woke the two landed on the roof of the thatched roof enjoying the scenery.

"We missed dinner," Sirius informed the young boy, only getting a shrug. He sighed knowing it was one of the only things the boy actually wanted. To have his parents.

"They probably never even noticed," the raven haired boy stated "the Weasely's probably asked them to stay longer."

"But it's time to go back, you have a big day tomorrow," Sirius said getting them both down.

"You will be there tomorrow right? I don't want the adopted parents to come with no one else."

"I will be there bright and early," Sirius said with a bright smile grabbing the suitcase filled with all of the nine year old things for the school year plus his birthday present.

"You'll write to me every week, I expect some fun, not just study from you." He scolded the boy as they landed into the front parler of the Potter manor.

"Yes, Padfoot, Hedwig needs to fly once in a while." The boy rolled his eyes as they made their way to his room.

"You better take care of that damn bird" Sirius joked since said bird bit his finger almost off all the way "It is a very rare bird, so it is your responsibility."

"Yes, yes I know."

"Are you excited to meet your adopted parents for the next few years?"

"Actually I am a bit nervous since I have only you as a parental figure. But I have been writing to them for a week now, they're nice, Melantha and Enyo. They got married a few years ago and thought of having kids but haven't made up their mind yet so they thought being a part of the program would help settle them. They were the ones to pick Hedwig for me. Also the school sounds really exciting.

"They have three sectors, Primary, Dimitiko,Lower Secondary, Gymnasio and Higher secondary, Lykeio. In all 10 years I can study there, Higher secondary is harder to get into, you have to pass all your tests with their score system of 20 and what not. They do have four breaks in the school year though I can only go home for the summer breaks and the winter break though I can't do that this year due to being a first year. On the bright side you can come...well they invite families but you can come on the holidays when you're not working and any time I am doing something like sports. At least that's what Enyo wrote." The boy spilled out now panting, Sirius only laughed at the enthusiasm.

They quickly went to unload and made sure everything was ready for tomorrow. As Sirius and his godson went down the stairs to get a snack from one of the elves, James and Lily Potter came through the Flue with Lin in his mother's arms asleep. Though they were ignored by the other two since they just continued on their way to the kitchen.

Once their craving was fulfilled, Sirius headed out promising to be by tomorrow before his adopted family came. The young boy walked over to the stairway to head to his room, he spotted his parents still in the paler, "Mum dad guess what-"

"Heang on honey, were going to put Lin in his bed."

"You might also want to get ready for bed soon, it is getting late."

"-Padfoot got me for my birthday." The young boy finished in the empty hallway. Ducking his head in sorrow he made his way to his bedroom. Wishing his wish five years ago never came true.

"Mummy It's a start!"

"Yes Harry, now do you know what we do if we find the first star of the night?" His mum smiled down at the young night owl son of four.

Playfully his emerald eyes grew larger, and he shook his head looking from his mum and dad.

"Why Prongslet, we make a wish!" His dad said extravagantly, making his son laugh.

"Well go on... " his mum encouraged the four year old.

In a small wish filled with hope, he looked up to the star. The only one glowing, "I wish for a baby brother, to protect and look after, to love and to play with." He whispered, not seeing the small glance his parents shared and the large proud smile on their faces.

The knock sounded in the great entrance of the old manor, a young man with black messy hair and hazel eyes behind a pair of glasses, he opened the door to the young couple who were seeking entry at the gate.

"Lord Potter, I presume?" A young gentleman with black streaked with blonde hair and intense blue eyes.

"Yes, I am, how can I help you?" He asked, getting really confused.

"It is nice to finally meet you, I am Lord Anaxagoras, my wife Lady Anaxagoras. We are here to finally meet your family as well as picking up your Heir."

"Sorry? Do come in. I didn't know you would be by so early." Lord Potter sated as he showed them into the front parler. Once they all settled he called for one of the house elf to get the rest of the Potter family and Sirius with a plate of biscuits and tea.

"Lord Potter, we have heard a lot about your son through letters but he never mentions his life at home." The Lord stated though he was generally curious about things.

"Ah well it is quite complicated, my son is a very bright boy. Off on his own world." Lord Potter started feeling proud of his eldest.

It was laughter first that caught the occupants of the room, before Sirius and the young raven haired boy walked into the room. They were followed by a young lady of Red hair holding a boy of five in her arms. As they entered the three all stood, "Lord and Lady Anaxagoras, I would like you to meet my family. My Wife, Lily Potter and our youngest Linfred, our eldest which you have correspondence with. And my all but blood brother Lord Sirius Black.

"Pleasure to meet you all. I am Enyo Anaxagoras with my wife Melantha Anaxagoras." He looked right to the young boy "You must be, heir Potter. After reading your letters I know we will have the best of time."

"It is indeed a pleasure to finally meet you both Lo-"

"Enyo, please after all we have ten years." Enyo said with a smile to the young boy.

As the family got seated around the room they fell into stories of the past, with pranks and other things. After a little bit James and Sirius excused themselves to take care of Lin, as he needed the toilet.

"Padfoot, do you know why the family parlor is demolished?"

"You should ask your son, Pongs. What day is it today?"

"What does that have anything to do with the family parlor?" They shared a look and James knew he needed to answer the question. "August first."

"And yesterday?"

"The thirty-first of July."

"And what did you do that day instead of being with your son?"

"The Weasley family-but what does this have to do with My Eldest."

Sirius just shook his head, "You do know that you have two sons, they both have birthdays right?" Don't really know how blunt he had to be to his all but blood brother.

"Ya but-"

"No James, yesterday was the thirty-first of July, the happiest day of your life nine years ago, even mine. And yet you forgot. In case you don't remember your eldest is leaving for school today, I don't want you to lose him. Just promise me you will read every letter and respond to every letter he sends. Promise me."

"I-yes I promise. I won't let you or my son down again." James promised "Merlin, we missed his birthday. He must hate us."

"He has hope, but with everything you might lose him if you continue." James nodded, helping Len and the three headed back to the room.

The rest of the morning the seven, all talked and got to know each other, even shared many things. After lunch was finished and good-byes given, the seven convinced in the front foyer.

"Bye, little buddy. I'll see you in the summer." The young Heri stated to his younger brother, who was still held in his mother's arms, blowing raspberries.

"Bye, Mum. Bye Dad," He said as he hugged bother of them.

"Write to us okay," His mother said with proud tears in her eyes.

"Promise." He shared a small smile with his mother.

"I am so proud of you son, continue to make us proud." his father asked, giving his fifth hug to his eldest son.

"Bye pup, have some fun okay not just studying."

"Love you to, every week you will hear from me."

"You better Prongslet." Sirius laughed as he hugged his godson that he practically raised.

The young emerald eye boy turned to his adopted parents, who he will live with for the next ten years. Together the three made their way off the ancestral land. "Apparition I suppose." The young boy muttered.

"Why yes, it is the only way to find the village." Enyo stated with a chuckle as he grabbed the boy's arm tightly.

The young boy felt the sickening feeling in the pit of his stomach. However, instead of lasting only a second, it seemed to last almost an entire minute. The world spun faster and faster, and soon he was in the middle of a luscious garden filled with bright flowers of all kinds.

He leaned forward getting the sickening feeling to fade, he really hated that way of travel. After the dizziness stopped he righted himself taking in the view. He could see everything, the village down below the mountain and over the land. It was all filled with life everywhere one would look. Turning around he saw a magnificent white stone mansion every window and door was open to the world with white curtains blowing in the soft breeze.

"Welcome to Ptósi Paravel, or Cair Paravel this will be your home. One thing we haven't mentioned is Deipnias runed by a king and queen, but we tried other ways to run business that never quite worked out. Anyway it will be something you learn here. The Anaxagoras family have lived here and take care of the stately business for generations since Apollo came to this land. That would make you important with us adopting you but will always find some way to have fun." Enyo informed the young boy who laughed at the end.

He watched them go into the home away from home and smiled, "Hadrian Charlus Potter, you are definitely in for an adventure," he joked with himself as he went inside.

A/N: Evening, I have a new story here that I was just playing with. It has WBWL, and a new world. I probably won't post this story often but I know where this is going. It will jump to the fourth year of Hogwarts for his younger brother. Anyways, let me know how it is, I also am still looking for a title for this book. Thanks for the read!
