This was a mistake.

Everything he did that year was a mistake.

Why did he even do this? He wondered.

Was it to please his father? To prove he's the son that he should be proud of?

Why would he even do that?

After all...

Lucius Malfoy was not his father.

And it was too late to take back what he had done.

Everyone suffered because he left those insufferable death eaters in Hogwarts. The moment that everyone looked at him with pure disgust. He felt so...awful. The fact that Potter saved him- even after all he had done.

He did not deserve this.

He did not deserve to be saved.

He did not deserve to survive when all those others died-

He did not deserve anything.

With these final thoughts...

Draco Malfoy was no more as he bled to death in his tub- fully clothed- with his sleeves rolled up. His tattoo being cut apart with all the wounds he had inflicted upon himself.

He deserved this.

To die alone.

To die in a way muggles have done.

And with his last dying breath. He closed his eyes.

Faint screaming was heard. That was all that was heard. Crying-

Narcissa Malfoy was crying.

Her baby was dead.

Her only son was dead.

After all she has done- the fact that she had lied to Voldemort himself.

Just for her own son to kill himself.

She did not even get to tell him who his real father was.

Draco Malfoy was no more.

Everything was cold. It felt so dark- was he in hell? The place muggles have always spoken of? That was the only thing Draco had thought as two...two whatever the hell he was looking at led him to a mansion- a mansion that was bigger than his own. He gaped at the architecture.

It was so beautiful- so unique. He had wondered if Granger would like this.

With those thoughts, the mansion of the doors opened up as he continued to look at the inside. There were people waiting, some looked impatient, others looked frightened. One caught his eye though-Bellatrix Lestrange.

With a growl, he turned his head and continued his pace- ignoring the women who had also quickly taken notice of him, "Draco my boy! It's your auntie!" She cackled, going to him with an uncomfortable look until shadows quickly constricted her. Oh- how she hated this.

Draco continued to be led to the front, skipping in front of everyone who was waiting. Now everyone was looking at him- they wondered...what was the importance of this boy?

"γονατίσετε για τον βασιλιά σας," It took a while for Draco to understand what one of the deformed things had told him but once he got it, he quickly took notice of the man in front of him and quickly, he kneeled.

"Draco Malfoy," The figure mumbled, reading from a scroll. He was unraveling it, mumbling senseless things until he stopped at one thing that caught his eyes.

Father: Hades, God of the Underworld.

He had frozen at that- since when did he have another son? The figure- now known as Hades started to skim through his memories until he remembered a name.

Narcissa Black.

Oh yes- he remembered her...the time where he had met her- the day she was stressing when she figured out her fiance was a follower of the dark lord. She was afraid that her future children were going to suffer- and Hades, of course, helped release that worry.

Although he did NOT pull out on time.

When he had read what his son had done in his time of being alive- he frowned. Fields of Punishment for the poor boy? Or maybe something less severe...maybe worse.

Once he was ready with his answer, Hades was going to speak up. Until the door to his mansion opened up- and up came a goddess he did not expect to show up in his domain.

Hecate. Goddess of Magic, Witchcraft and much more.

She looked as elegant as ever, everyone gaping at her magnificent looks- especially her body. Once she was near Draco, that was when she smiled at him.

It has been a while since someone didn't see him in pure disgust.

"Lord Hades! Lovely to see you." Hecate spoke first, looking at Hades and bowing slightly. Hades only huffed.

"Yes, yes- Lady Hecate- if you don't mind me asking...why are you in my domain? Have you not seen that I have mortals to deal with." He sneered.

"Of course I do! But unfortunately, I have to take one off your hands-" Hecate gestured to Draco, "You see, this boy is part of my realm...and I decided to give him the liberty of a second chance." Draco perked up at that- a second chance?

"Unfortunately, Lady Hecate- it is not in your capability to take this boy away- after all, he is MY son." Hades glowered at her and she simply smirked. Draco now was confused- He knew Lucius was not his father- but this man to be his father? They did not even look alike!

"That's confusing...wasn't the boy in the casino your son? What about the girl there too?" Lady Hecate smiled as innocently as she could. Was she blackmailing Hades? Most likely. Did she care? No, she did not.

Hades grew angrier at that- with a growl of annoyance, he waved the goddess away in a shoo motion, "Take the boy- do whatever you like." Zeus should not know he had a son. It wouldn't be good.

Hecate ushered Draco to stand up and he quickly did so. He followed her towards the door and when he looked back at Hades for a final time, he noticed that something was off. With that thought- he looked up and gasped. The mark of Hades glowed on top of his head.

Draco Malfoy. Son of Narcissa Malfoy and Hades, God of the Underworld.

With that shock, he was now off with Lady Hecate.

He learned much from Lady Hecate- the Goddess who took him under her wing as she walked around the Underworld...since after all, he was still dead.

She explained who she was- the creator of who he was- of who everyone he knew was. But that wasn't what stood out for him- what did stand out was:

"My boy...you suffered greatly- and seeing my children in pain- in pain, they do not deserve hurts me. So I tell you this; will you, Draco Malfoy accept my proposition of a second chance?" Her words were a shock- he did not deserve this. Lavender Brown did- Fred Weasley did- his cousin, Nymphadora Tonks deserved this... not him.

He contemplated this for a long time, "What's the catch?"

Hecate merely replied, "No catch- My child, I only wish for you to go through the right path...without the pain...without the guilt. You can help my world, Draco Malfoy..." Draco did not even notice the tears streaking down. He was crying. He couldn't help it.

And with that, he frantically nodded. He wanted a second chance- No he needed a second chance...to fix his wrongs. To help. He wanted to help.

"As you wish, my child." With a flash, she softly touched his forehead.

You can do it. I, Lady Hecate, give you my blessing. The blessing of the brains of more subjects of my world. The knowledge needed to help you to win the war that Harry Potter will need help on. Save them. he m.

Unbeknownst to them- Lord Hades also gave his son his own blessing.
