Elsa Arendelle, model student, head cheerleader, easily one of the most popular girl in high school cannot believe her luck. Not.
Her drama club supervising teacher got transferred to another school and since they cannot be a club without one, it got disbanded. Which leaves her to the current predicament, trying to find a new club to fill in her extra curricular slot. The other club members face the same thing but surprisingly (not), they easily found their substitute clubs, mostly with help from their friends.
Now, Elsa may be a cheerleader but.. she is not really a people person. That is more Anna. Elsa is the Ice Queen. Snobbish, proud, extremely cold Ice Queen. Naturally, that results in her not having many friends and she definitely is misjudged a lot. But since it is your stereotypical high school, they look up to the pretty mean girl.
By all nature, Elsa is not a bully. She never bully the nerds nor the new kid. How can she when she does not even know them in the first place? What she is, is awkward. Unfortunately, her awkwardness comes off as snobbish and her direct way of talking comes off as mean. Those two combines are enough to intimidate people.
Unlike her sister who have friends from all over, Elsa's are mostly her fellow cheerleaders and some from her drama club. She and the cheerleaders used to hang out with the guys from the sports team back in freshman year but thanks to a feud of the former team captains at the end of the year, that is all history now. After more than a year of no talking (in presence of the captains, at least), it is simply too awkward to sit together again.
Though, seeing that some of her cheerleader friend are dating the jocks and one of her best friend just happens to be one of the school athlete, the now junior had thought of the possibility of them all sitting together at lunch again. The only thing is, she does not know how to talk about it to her team, much less the other teams. Especially the soccer team, with their prankster of a captain.
Anyway, that is another story for another time. Back to the matter at hand, Elsa is currently in the chemistry lab, a list of clubs that are still open for new members (courtesy of the lady at the office) on the table in front of her. She looks over the list for the nth time, but like everytime, none of them intrigues her. Knowing that class is over and she is now alone in the lab, she let out a rather ungirlish groan.
A small laughter is heard from behind. Elsa immediately perks and turns to see none other than her class's lab assistant (they are basically super smart seniors who help the teachers to make sure their underclassmen don't blow up the lab), Tadashi Hamada. Elsa's face reddens. "I.. I thought no one is here," she says.
The senior walks over and takes a seat across from her. "The teachers always make us clean after you kids," he says. Seeing the papers on the table, he casually grabs one of them.
"Ah," he says while surveying the list, "I heard that the drama club was disbanded. I'm guessing you're one of the kids finding a new club".
"Yup," Elsa says, "guilty as charged".
"Found one you like yet?" he asks.
"If I did, I wouldn't be groaning earlier, would I?" Elsa says drily.
Tadashi laughs. "Fair enough," he says. Then adds, "Let me help you. Got any preferences?"
Elsa shakes her head.
"How about the art club? Nature club? Diving club?" he suggests, looking over the list of clubs that are still available.
"Not artsy, no and what?" Elsa looks at the senior in front of her, his attention still on the list. "Forget it," she says, "I'll figure it out myself".
He looks up from the list. "Or you can join my club," he says.
"Your club?"
"Yeah, we're not exactly opening for new members but I can make an exception".
The bell then rings, signalling the next class is going to start. Tadashi hands her back the list as Elsa gathers her papers and stuffs them into her bag. They walk out of the lab in silence, she still thinking about the club and Tadashi's deal and he, who knows? They say their good byes as they each head down different hallways to their respective classes.
"Ellll~ Are you sure about this?"
Elsa groans, not bothering to give her answer. She doesn't have to look to know that her friend is giving her a teasing look. Man, she is going to kill Flynn some day. That guy rubs off on Rapunzel in many ways and not all of them good.
"Come on," she says, "just join me with the art club."
"No, I'm doing this," Elsa says, her mind made up. Moving one foot in front of another (read: walking), she approaches the door as slowly as she can, trying to delay the inevitable. Realising what Elsa is trying to do, Rapunzel know she have to help her friend. So, before Elsa can do it, she grabs the handle and open the door to the chess clubroom.
They are greeted by a cheerful Tadashi, "Hey Elsa. I've been waiting for you!"

Hey~ Been a very long time since I last wrote and longer since I published something. Anyway, I'm trying a new fandom and fingers crossed, hope this works. Yeah, our all time favorite character, Jack Frost will be in it, he's just havent made an appearance yet omo.
Oh and to give credit where its due, the original idea for this comes from a youtube short series I found a few days back (cheerleaders in chess club, if im not mistaken).
